Description

  

  Vorrichtung zum Überführen von Fasern in einen     wollähnlich    gekräuselten Zustand.    Die Erfindung bezieht .sich auf eine Vor  richtung, um     feuchte    Fasern aller Art, wie  zum Beispiel Flachs-, Jute-,     Hanffasern    oder       Zellulose-Ester-    oder     -Äther-Kunstseide-          fasern,    oder andere Textilfasern vornehm  lich Abfälle durch eine besondere     Trock-          nungsbehandlung    in einen wollähnlich ge  kräuselten Zustand in kurzer Zeit und unter       möglichster        Schonung    der Faser zu über  führen.  



  Die Vorrichtung besteht aus drehbaren  heizbaren Trockentrommeln, die mit Rasten  versehen sind, von welchen das Gut gehalten  wird, um alsdann eine Fallbewegung aus  zuführen.  



  Mittels solcher Trommeln wird die Be  handlung am besten so vorgenommen, dass die  feuchte     Fasermasse    bei gewöhnlicher oder       wcIhwach    erhöhter Temperatur in     stetig        ver-          ä        aderte    Lagen gebracht wird, wobei sie der  nötigen Fallbewegung     unterworfen    wird.

    Hierbei kann man derart vorgehen, dass .die  Fasermasse in Trommeln eingeschlossen    wird, in welche Rasten eingebaut sind, oder  derart, dass man die Masse über Trommeln  laufen lässt, welche aussen mit Rasten ver  sehen sind.     Zweckmässigerweise    ist eine Re  versionsvorrichtung vorgesehen, um die  Trommeln in eine entgegengesetzt gerichtete  Drehung zu versetzen.    Die in der Vorrichtung nach besonderem  Verfahren behandelten Fasern haben ein  wollähnliches Aussehen, sind von guter  Kräuselung und hoher Dehnbarkeit, so     dass     sie mit Vorteil an Stelle von Wolle verwen  det werden können, und zwar sowohl für sich  allein, als auch in Verbindung mit andern  Faserstoffen zu Mischprodukten in Faden-,  Garn-,, Strang- oder Gewebeform. Auch zur  Filzherstellung eignen sie sich vorzüglich.

    Das     Anfärbevermögen    des neuen Produktes  ist vollkommen befriedigend.

The invention relates to a device to remove moist fibers of all kinds, such as flax, jute, hemp fibers or cellulose-ester or -ether-rayon fibers, or other textile fibers, primarily waste, through a special drying tion treatment in a wool-like, crimped condition in a short time and with the greatest possible protection of the fiber.



  The device consists of rotatable heatable drying drums which are provided with notches, by which the material is held in order to then perform a falling movement.



  By means of such drums, the treatment is best carried out in such a way that the moist fiber mass is brought into steadily veined layers at normal or waking temperatures, whereby it is subjected to the necessary falling movement.

    One can proceed in such a way that .the fiber mass is enclosed in drums, in which notches are built, or in such a way that the mass is allowed to run over drums which are provided with notches on the outside. Appropriately, a Re version device is provided to set the drums in an opposite direction of rotation. The fibers treated in the device according to a special process have a wool-like appearance, are of good crimp and high extensibility, so that they can advantageously be used instead of wool, both on their own and in conjunction with other fiber materials to mixed products in thread, yarn, strand or fabric form. They are also ideal for making felts.

    The coloring power of the new product is completely satisfactory.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Vorriehtung zum Überführen von Fasern in einen wollähnlich gekräuselten Zustand, bestehend aus drehbaren, heizbaren Trom meln, die mit Rasten versehen sind, die die Fasern vorübergehend aufhalten, um sie beim Weiterdrehen :der Trommeln eine Fallbewe gung ausführen zu lassen. UNTERANSPRUCH: Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch, :da durch gekennzeichnet, dass die Trommeln durch eine Reversionsvorrichtung in eine ent gegengesetzte Drehrichtung gebracht werden können.
