When coupling the two door handles of a door, it must be taken into account that the thickness of the door is not always the same and that the same should be dimensioned according to the distance between the two handles after they have been coupled.
Especially with those handle clutches in which the coupling element is received in a bore of the one handle, in which bore a shaft BEZW. The pin of the other handle is pushed in, the task is to create a permanent connection that can be adjusted according to the thickness of the door and that can cope with all impacts. This problem has not yet been solved in a sufficient and simple manner.
It is true that the shaft of one pusher has already been provided with a number of teeth that were brought into engagement with teeth of a counterpart mounted in the boh tion of the other pusher, with the teeth of the shaft as long as the teeth of the counterpart the hole were pushed when the thickness of the door allowed, in which position the engagement of the teeth of the shaft in the teeth of the resilient counter piece ensured the lock.
It is true that there is no disadvantage here that the teeth are easily worn out because the handle connection only rarely needs to be loosened and re-established; However, it is very possible that the occasional pulling and tugging of the handle and the intermittent closing of the door cause a tooth to jump off, so that the handle is no longer held in the correct position.
Even with another pusher clutch, in which special parts to be attached in the bore of a pusher are disregarded, the difficulty of a simple and precise setting can be felt. According to the invention, a particularly simple but precisely adjustable pusher clutch is obtained, namely in an embodiment in which when the two pusher are put together a coupling member connects the same. The invention consists in that a carrier arranged on the pusher pin in front of this of the coupling member relative to the handle pin is axially adjustable.
The drawing illustrates two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, FIG. 1 showing a first embodiment and FIGS. 2 and 3 showing a second embodiment.
In the example of Fig. 1, the door handle 1 is seen with a connecting pin 2 ver, the front end of which has an axial threaded hole into which a screw-threaded bolt 4 of a front of the pin 2 arranged in cross section of this same part 3 is screwed. The part 3 has a spring-loaded and outwardly protruding coupling pin 5 in a transverse bore. The door handle 6 has an axial bore 7 for receiving the connecting pin 2 with the part 3, the wall of which is a transverse opening 8 and an inclined position against the mouth surface 9 has.
To connect the two door handles 1 and 6- push the pin 2 of the handle 1 into the bore 7 of the handle 6. When entering the bore 7, the pin 5 is pushed through the inclined surface 9 against the Fe derdruck in the part 3 and remains in this position until the pin 5 is in front of the opening 8 of the pusher 6 be. At this moment the pin 5 snaps into the opening 8, so that a firm connection of the two door handles he will hold. Their mutual position is determined by the position of pin 5 in relation to pin 2 of trigger 1. By a position of part 3 with respect to part 2, the position of the handle can be brought after their connection in accordance with the respective door thickness.
Although other means for the mutual adjustment of the carrier 3 of the coupling pin 5 to the handle pin 2 are applicable, the screw connection provided in the exemplary embodiment has the advantage that an exact adjustment to the respective door thickness is possible.
In another embodiment, a loose pin is used instead of the spring-loaded pin 5, and here at an opening 8 is drilled transversely through the pusher 6 and a matching through opening is also made in part 3, while the inclined surface 9 is omitted . This embodiment is cheaper than the first described.
In the embodiment described above with screw connection of parts 2, 3, the disadvantage is felt that the setting is always limited to full revolutions, which does not meet the requirements for full accuracy. The embodiment shown in Figures 2 and 3 aims to remedy this deficiency.
The door handle 1 is provided with the vierkanti gene pin 2 with the adjustable part 3, which is screwed into the pin 2 by means of thread 4. This front part 3 has a recess 10 on each of the four circumferential sides, in which recesses a spring-loaded, internally headed pin 5 is arranged and which are closed to the outside by locking rings 11.
The door handle 6, which is to be pushed onto the pin 2, has for this purpose a Boh tion 7 with four inclined surfaces and, in addition to that, a transverse opening 8 in the wall, into which the corresponding coupling pin 5 enters when the connection is made.
With this arrangement, a fine adjustment to the respective door thickness can be kept, namely to a quarter of the part 3.
Instead of using four spring-loaded pins 5, one can get by with a single loose pin, which is brought into the recess 10 after the desired setting of the part 3, whereby it must be ensured that the opening 8 is on the underside in this case of the pusher 6 must be attached and closed with a ring, because the pin 5 must get into the opening 8 under the force of gravity.
