Device for driving sound devices, in particular narrow-film sound devices. The invention relates to a device for driving sound equipment before. It can preferably be used when driving narrow-film sound devices. With the previous sound film devices, the control unit was either placed in front of the rewind roller of the image projector and the film was conveyed away from the sound control unit to the take-up reel using the rewind roller, or a special transport roller was placed behind the sound control unit
if the control point was arranged in the direction of the film behind the winding roll after.
These previous drive devices require special design measures, which are particularly difficult where it is a question of converting existing image projectors into sound image projectors. In contrast, the drive device according to the invention is distinguished by the fact that with its help primarily old image projectors can be converted into sound film projectors without any particular structural difficulties being expected. The invention has particular technical advantages over the known devices of this type, which are particularly in the simplicity of construction, so that even a layman can deal with them without difficulty.
This is important for the field of portable and narrow film sound equipment.
The invention now consists in the fact that in the case of sound devices in which the film is transported from the rewind roller to the control station, the take-up reel firmly connected to its drive shaft pulls the film past the control point and the take-up reel drives its drive via a belt drive from the rewind roller axis receives. In this device there is no need to arrange special transport elements between the control point.
Since the tensile stress exerted on the film by the take-up spool changes with the number of windings, it is advisable to compensate for this. This can be achieved by providing a belt tensioner on the belt drive that drives the take-up reel, the tension of which can preferably be adjusted, and also using a belt made of a special material (fish skin) to improve the effect. Investigations made by the reporter, the material of the belt used for the present drive is of particular importance.
The difficulty was primarily to obtain the necessary slip for the belt drive to compensate for the transport fluctuations caused by the take-up reel. The known belt materials such as leather, rubber, cotton do not meet these requirements to the same extent as the fish skin belt proposed by the applicant, for example.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained with reference to the figure.
The film 1 is transported from the not signed Neten Nachwickelrölle in the direction of arrow 2 to the tape roll 3. The clay roller can be designed in a known manner as a fixed track or as a rotating roller with a flywheel. Inside is the photocell 4. In the housing 5 there is the sound lamp and the sound optics. The film is pulled away from the sound roll 3 through the take-up reel 6. The take-up reel 6 receives its drive from the reel 7 by means of a belt 8 via the reel 9. The reel 9 is rigidly connected to the axle 10 as is the take-up reel 6.
The roller 7 sits on the axis of the usual rewinding roller which is present in image projectors and which is continuously driven in a known manner. De: The belt is preferably made of dolphin skin with a rectangular cross-section. To regulate the belt tension, the roller 11 on the lever 12 can rotate around the fixed axis of the roller 13 under the influence of the spring tension 14. The tension of the spring 14 can be specially regulated by known additional devices.
The device described has proven to be particularly suitable for driving narrow-film sound devices, since it does not significantly increase the force required to transport the film, so that the old power source can be used when converting such devices into sound devices.
