Voi # for copying films. The invention relates to a device for copying films, in which a negative film and a positive film are passed together through an exposure window, and the positive film is provided with a perforation corresponding to the perforation of the negative film as it moves through the copier. The positive film is guided through the exposure window as a function of the movement of the negative film.
In order to avoid inaccurate coverage of the grid caused by shrinkage of the material in Linsenra.sterfilmen, it has already been proposed that perforating and embossing of the grid of the positive film, as well as its exposure to carry out in one operation and perforating and embossing Control negative film.
Practice has taught that with this method, even if the devices required for implementation have been manufactured with the highest accuracy, that is to say at high cost, there are traces of inaccuracies when punching the positive film from hole to hole with absolute certainty cannot be avoided.
The purpose of the invention is to eliminate this disadvantage, namely by controlling the movement of the positive film with respect to the perforating punch by means of control elements influenced by the negative film. In this way, with the help of simple and therefore relatively low-cost devices to be produced, an unconditional guarantee for an accurate punching of the positive film from hole to hole can be guaranteed.
In the drawings, four embodiments of devices according to the invention are shown, for example, and it is: Fig. 1 is a schematic view of a copier with mechanically working the control elements, Fig. 2 is a similar view of a copier in which the control elements are a photoelectric cell have, Fig. 3 is a view of a Kopiervorrich device with friction drums as control elements and Fig. 4 is a view of a Kopiervorrich device with friction rollers as control elements.
In the copier illustrated in Fig. 1, the running from a spool perforated negative film 1 is passed over synchronously running conveyor drums 3 and 4, which are arranged so that when the distances between the individual perforating holes become unequal as a result of shrinkage of the film. the most shrunk film area between the two drums is stretched in a straight line. A roller 7a attached to a lever 7 is supported against the film 1.
The spring 8 tends to always press the role of the pivoted lever 7 against the film. If the distance from one hole in the film to the other increases, for example by a fraction of a tenth of a millimeter, the film is bent, as has been indicated by the dotted line. The deflection is greater, the greater the distance between the holes and decreases when the distance between the holes becomes smaller.
The positive film 12 is guided over a roller 2, passed through the punch 28 and advanced by means of grippers 11 driven by a crank disk. The lever 7 carrying the pressure roller 7a is connected to the roller 10 by a rod 9 with a support against the positive film 12. If the negative film 1 becomes longer and a bulge arises as a result, the positive film also has a correspondingly smaller bulge, as is indicated at 29. This changes the length of the film between the gripper and the punch.
The teeth of the grippers 11 have a smaller diameter than the perforation holes, so that a gripper tooth, after engaging in a hole, first executes a certain backward motion. If a larger bulge has formed at 29, see the perforation holes a little closer to the roller 10, and the dead gear of the gripper is reduced, and consequently the film is advanced by a larger amount, where the hole spacing also increases. Instead of the lever 7, a curve calibrated to match the two films can also be used to change the path of the positive film.
The device of FIG. 2 works in essentially the same way as that of FIG. 1. The bulge of the positive film 12 is not achieved here by mechanical means, but by two photo cells 34 and 35. A panel 33 provided with a cutout or a recess is attached to the lever 7, behind which a stationary panel 32 with two recesses is arranged. If the hole spacing of the negative film becomes larger, a bulge is formed here as well, as in the exemplary embodiment described above. The diaphragm 33 attached to the rotatably mounted lever 7 moves past the stationary diaphragm 32 and thus covers some of the beams coming from the exposure sources 30, 31.
The attenuation of the light is now converted into electrical current surges, which come into effect on the electromagnets 36 and 37. As a result, the armature lever 38, 39 is attracted in one or the other direction, whereby a more or less large bulge of the positive film 12 is achieved. With the enlargement of the bulge, the film length between the rod 28 and the gripper 11 also changes here, which in turn causes a change in the hole spacing.
Another possibility is to use a differential gear. In this case, the positive film and the negative film each run over a toothed or conveyor drum. If the hole spacing remains the same, the planet gear shows no change, but as soon as a slight difference occurs, a rotation occurs, and this is used to change the path between the rod and the gripper accordingly, for the purpose that both films have the same hole spacing.
In the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the films run on conveyor drums 13, rollers 14, 15, 20, 21 in the exposure window 22, below which the copier lamp 23 is arranged, and who switched on by the conveyor drum 24. The films finally run over a guide roller 25 after take-up spools 26 respectively. 27.
When using several exposure windows, it is necessary that both films always have the same coverage, otherwise copying errors and blurring can occur. In order to ensure that the openings of both films against the teeth of the drum 24, each film is tensioned by rotatably ge superimposed levers that BEZW under the action of springs 16. 17 stand and roles 18 respectively. 19 wear.
In the device according to FIG. 3, the negative film 41 and the positive film 42 are respectively via friction drums 43. 44 headed. On the shafts of the latter are gears 45 respectively. 46 attached, which, like the drums 43 and 44, have the same diameter among themselves. To the friction drums 43 and 44 around elastic bands 47 respectively. 48 tensioned, which respectively over guide rollers 49, 50 and 51. 52, 53 and 54 are running.
If the negative film 41 is advanced over a certain distance by the gripper 55, the teeth of which have a smaller diameter than the perforations of the films, so that the hole spacing can be increased or decreased as a result of the possible dead passage, because the at the drums 43 and 44 are coupled by the gears 45 and 46, and the positive film 42 preceded by exactly the same distance. The friction drums 43 and 44 are expediently equipped with a device in order to hold them firmly in the position caused by this after the films have been switched on until the positive film 42 has been perforated by the punch 56.
The films 41, 42 then reach the copier 90 with exposure window 91, under which the copier lamp 81 is arranged, and are held in mutual contact by a pressure device 92. Finally, the films are fed via rollers 59a, 60a Take-up reels 59 respectively. 60 supplied.
According to FIG. 4, a perforated negative film 63 and an unperforated positive film 64 run from the coils 61 and 62. Both films are fed together by guide rollers 65, 66 of a cutter consisting of two rotating DZessern 67, 68, through which the ribbons of the films 63 and 64 are trimmed in order to avoid lateral blurring when copying films of exactly the same width.
The positive film 64 is then fed by a friction drive 69 to a device 70, 71 serving for embossing a grid and to a punch 72 which produces the perforation, while the negative film 63 is switched upstream by a conveyor drum 73. Both films 63 and 64 run together after the embossing and perforation of the positive film 64 through a pair of friction rollers 74, 75 which are rotatable about pins 76a, 75a and which are made of rubber or other suitable building material. The roller 75 is mounted on a slide 86 and can be pressed against the roller 74 by means of the pressure screw 87.
A gripper device 76, 88 provided behind the rollers 74, 75, the teeth of which have a smaller diameter than the holes in the films, so that the hole spacing can be increased or decreased as a result of the possible dead pass, engages in each perforation hole one after the other Negative film 63, whereby it is always switched by the distance between two perforation holes before going. As a result of the in front of the gripper device 76,
88 rollers 74, 75 acting on both films 63 and 64, the positive film 64 is also preceded by the same amount each time the negative film 63 is advanced. The positive film 64 is guided over a guide roller 77. Behind the gripper device 76 are a pair of guide rollers 78, 79, by means of which the two films 63 and 64 are reunited, and one or more copying windows 81 exposed by lamps 80. The two films 63 and 64 run over rollers 82 after copying respectively 83 after the take-up spools 84 respectively. 85.
Measurements made on films treated in the manner just described have shown that the two films have practically exactly the same hole spacing and the largest difference was only 0.0002 mm. As a result, absolute sharpness is achieved at the height of the film image, even if both films run through several exposure windows.
Behind the exposure window 81 can expediently a. Conveyor drum may be provided to pull both films 63 and 64 through the window.
