Description

  

  Umschlaltvorrichtung für Kettenräderwechselgetriebe.    Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrich  tung, mittelst welcher das Umschalten einer  Kette auf zwei oder mehr verschieden grosse  Kettenräder bewirkt werden kann, und zwar  jeweils unter gleichzeitigem selbsttätigem  Spannen der Kette. Sie unterscheidet sich  von Vorrichtungen ähnlicher Art dadurch,  dass sie vor allen Dingen weniger kompliziert  ist, und dass die Kette nicht - wie bei an  dern Systemen - beim Umschalten in Rück  wärtsbewegung gesetzt werden muss.  



  Beim Erfindungsgegenstand läuft die  Kette über ein Führungskettenrad, welchem  durch einen Drahtzug seitliche     Achsialver-          sehiebung    erteilt werden können, um so ein  Überspringen der Kette von einem der ver  schieden grossen Kettenräder auf ein anderes  zu bewirken. Gleichzeitig wird der Längen  unterschied der Kette, welcher durch die     ver-          schieden        grossen     bedingt ist,  durch einen auf das Führungskettenrad ein  wirkenden Hebel, welcher unter dem Ein  fluss einer Federkraft steht, und das Füh-    rungskettenrad zum Spannen der Kette  zwingt, ausgeglichen.  



  Anhand der Zeichnung wird ein Beispiel  des Erfindungsgegenstandes näher erläutert.  A bezeichnet das Führungskettenrad, ss  eine Schraube, durch welche der Erfindungs  gegenstand gemäss der Zeichnung an einem  Fahrrad befestigt ist. C bezeichnet den He  bel, welcher das     Führungskettenrad    trägt  und durch die mit D bezeichnete Feder zum       Spannen    der Kette gezwungen wird.     142it    E  ist ein Hebel bezeichnet, welcher dem     Füh-          rungskettenrad    die notwendigen seitlichen       Achsialverschiebungen    erteilt. F bezeichnet  eine Feder und G den Drahtzug, durch wel  che Teile der Hebel E betätigt wird.

At the same time, the difference in length of the chain, which is caused by the different sizes, is compensated for by a lever acting on the guide chain wheel, which is under the influence of a spring force and forces the guide chain wheel to tension the chain.



  An example of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail with the aid of the drawing. A denotes the guide chain wheel, ss a screw through which the object of the invention is attached to a bicycle according to the drawing. C denotes the lever that carries the guide chain wheel and is forced by the spring labeled D to tension the chain. 142E denotes a lever which gives the guide chain wheel the necessary lateral axial displacements. F denotes a spring and G the wire pull through which parts of the lever E is actuated.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Umschaltvorrichtung für Kettenräder- wechselgetriebe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass vermöge eines Drahtzuges einem die Kette führenden Kettenrad seitliche Achsialver- schiebungen erteilt werden können und da- durch das Überspringen der Kette auf ver schieden grosse Kettenräder bewirkt werden kann, während jeweils vermittelst eines auf das Führungskettenrad einwirkenden, unter der Wirkung von die Kette spannender Fe derkraft stehenden Hebels der Längenunter schied der Kette ausgeglichen wird.
