Wie man aus dieser Figur ersieht, ist so wohl die Abschaltspule, als auch die Halte spule durch je eine Leitung p, q sowohl mit dem Gestell q des Verbrauchers m, als auch mit Erde verbunden, und es ist in diese so ge bildete Leitungsschleife die denRuhestrom lie- fernde. Stromquelle t eingefügt. durchfliesst also der Reihe nach die Halte spuleh, die Verbindungp dieser Spule mit dein Gestell ;
Protective circuit against the risk of touching electricity consumers. There are protective circuits against the Ge danger when touching electricity consumers are known, in which a relay is arranged between the frame and earth, which bci transfer of voltage to the frame by the current flowing to the earth disconnects the consumer from the network. This well-known device always worked reliably if the protective lines, i.e. the connection between the frame and relay as well as between relay and earth, were in a fault-free condition. But it came here and there.
There are cases where the connection between the frame, relay, earth was completely or partially disrupted due to some defect, such as line break, missing line connection, poor plug contact, oxidation of contact points, etc. and where .then when a frame closure occurs the touch of the consumer had serious consequences.
In order to rule out such cases and to increase the safety of the system, according to the invention, the line connecting the relay to the frame of the consumer should be continuously monitored by a quiescent current in the aforementioned protective circuits. For this purpose, the connecting line can be part of a special, permanently current-carrying circuit, and protective devices can be provided which respond when this circuit is interrupted.
These protective devices can be designed differently, they can report the occurrence of the error by optical or acoustic signals, but they can also be built in the manner of a relay, which disconnects the consumer from the network in the event of a line interruption and prevents reconnection for so long when the error persists. In this way, the consumer is protected by two relays, namely by a main relay that switches off the consumer when there is a frame closure and by an auxiliary relay that only allows switching on if there is a healthy connection between the frame and the main relay and the switch only as long as this connection exists.
The use of two separate relays can now be avoided if the main relay is provided with a second coil, which takes on the function of the auxiliary relay. In an example of this type, the main relay receives, in addition to the disconnection coil, a holding coil which, after the switch is closed, holds it in the switch-on position from which it strives under the effect of a continuous force, as long as the disconnection coil has not responded, with the holding coil in one Circuit, which is formed by a double line,
which connects the frame of the consumer with the ungrounded pole of the disconnecting coil and the. Current in the holding coil is generated by a continuously effective auxiliary voltage introduced into this circuit. The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to Ausfüh approximately examples Fig. 1 and 2: In Fig. 1, 7n denotes the consumer to be protected, for example an electric motor with iron frame g, which is connected to the network N by the circuit breaker s.
The protective relay r for the switch s contains the holding coil h and the trip coil cc for a spring-loaded locking lever sp for the switching lever of the circuit breaker, which in turn is under the action of spring f. The holding coil and the disconnecting coil are connected to the frame g of the consumer via connection lines p, q . Both coils are single-pole grounded. 112h t denotes a transformer that supplies a quiescent current for the holding coil h. The circuit breaker with the relay r is connected to the consumer via a plug connection d, st .
When the plug st is inserted into the socket d, the connection lines p, q are constantly monitored by the quiescent current flowing from the transformer t into the holding coil h and the lines p, q. If the lines p, q are interrupted, the holding coil li is de-energized and releases the switch s, which is opened by the spring f.
If, on the other hand, the holding coil h is flowing with quiescent current when the lines p, q are in the proper state after the switch s has been switched on, then the switch s remains closed with the plug connection d, st closed until the frame closes to the Example at phase S, the shut-off coil a via frame g, line q, coil a, earth, mains N receives current and its influence on the locking lever is stronger than that the holding coil h.
The number of turns of the disconnection coil a can be dimensioned so that the consumer 7n is disconnected even with harmless voltages and currents. The voltage generating the quiescent current can be a DC or AC voltage. In the latter case, it can be removed from the network using the bell transformer.
While in Fig. 1 only the connecting lines p, q between the frame and relay monitored who the, one can also include the Lei line piece in the control according to Fig. 2, wel Ches connects the relay to ground. In Fig. 2 the meaning of the letters is the same as in Fig. 1.
As can be seen from this figure, the disconnection coil and the holding coil are connected by a line p, q to both the frame q of the consumer m, and to earth, and it is in this line loop formed in this way supplying the quiescent current. Current source t inserted. so flows through the holding coil h one after the other, the connection p of this coil with your frame;
q, the connection q of the frame with the disconnecting coil a, the disconnecting coil a, the connection o between the disconnecting coil a and earth and finally the connection n between earth and holding coil. Any interruption in this loop interrupts the quiescent current and has the immediate disconnection of the consumer, and the relay can be used as a protective device to switch off the consumer in the event of a line break, which prevents reconnection as long as the fault persists.
Thus, the safe operation of the protective device is guaranteed and the case that the protection fails due to defects in the connection lines can no longer occur.
