Machine for developing tracing paper using alkaline gases, especially ammonia. In machines for developing tracing papers using alkaline gases, such as ammonia, it is customary to carry out the breaks through the development room with the help of guide belts or guide rollers. A lifting of the breaks from the guide belt or from the guide roller is prevented by a fixed conductor track, which stood in a small distance from the conveyor roller is arranged.
This fixed baffle is provided with numerous openings so that the development gas can approach the tracing paper. In these versions, the development gas only approaches the pauses on one side, so that a longer development time must be expected.
The subject of the present invention is a developing machine for blueprints, in which the transport of the breaks takes place in the development space without the use of movable organs such as cords or ribbons. In the case of the new machine, in the development space for guidance: the pauses are arranged fixed elements which form at least one guide slot in which the development gases can approach the pauses from both sides. The height of this slot is conveniently a few millimeters. The transport of the paper through the sen guide slot is carried out by transport elements that are located at the ends of the guide slot.
Preferably, ver used as transport elements rollers, which expediently work together with resilient Andruckbän countries or the like. These pressure belts, which can be made of steel, for example, press the breaks against the transport rollers and thus cause them to be carried along. The pressure tapes can simultaneously seal the gas space at the lead-in and / or. Cause execution point for the breaks.
As a result of the access of the developing gases to the breaks, which was made from both sides, rapid and complete development is guaranteed. The machine can be built significantly smaller than the usual designs for the same performance.
Three exemplary embodiments of the machine according to the invention are shown in the drawings, FIGS. 1 to 5. An embodiment of the machine is shown in Fig. 1 in cross section and in Fig. 2 in plan view. 1 denotes the Ge alternate of the machine, 2 is the development room in which an aqueous ammonia solution 3 is located.
4 is an inlet pipe with different openings BEZW. Approaches for the introduction of gaseous ammonia for the purpose of the 'saturation of the used ammonia liquid. In the same way, a perforated tube 5 is provided for direct gassing with ammonia gas.
6 is a table for the introduction of the breaks, 7 a roller for the introduction of the breaks, 8 a second roller for conveying the developed breaks into the ventilation space: 9. The rollers 7 and 8 are fitted with tightly fitting steel belts 24 and 25 covered, which prevent the escape of the Ammeniakgases into the open and a smooth continuation of the breaks from the roller 7 to the rods 12, which are connected to the guide surfaces 10 and 11 and from .da to the roller 8 are to work.
The rods 12 together with the hollow cover plate 19 form a narrow guide slot through which the breaks are transported. The cover plate 19 is perforated on its underside. In this way, the interior of the plate is in communication with the gas space 2, so that the development gases can access the pause located in the guide slot from the sides.
In the Ent ventilation space 9 there are two rollers 13 and 14, over which endless rubber cords 15 run in the direction of the arrow. 16 are steel bands that BEZW on the frame at points 17. 18 are attached, and which are opposite: the rubber cords 15 are. The developed pauses are guided between the rubber cords 15 and the steel bands 16.
Inside the plate 19, which is insulated from the outside, there is a heating device 20 for heating the development chamber. Further, a heater plate 21 is mounted under the bottom of the developing container 2. 22 is a thermostat for temperature control. The development space is surrounded by an insulation layer 23 against heat radiation. The work of the machine begins expediently after the development chamber has been heated before.
The operation of the machine is as follows: The blueprints to be developed are placed on the table 6, captured by the infeed roller 7 and guided over the rods 12 to the outfeed roller 8. During the passage through the development space 2, the pauses are fully developed and are long from the execution roller 8 between the steel belts 16 and the rubber sehnuren 15, from which they are taken. During the passage of the breaks up to the execution part of the ventilation space, the breaks are vented in the usual way by an air movement device, for example a fan.
Fig. 3 and 4 show another Ausfüh approximate form of the machine in which the Ent development space is reduced in that it is given by a tubular boundary wall. In this embodiment, U-shaped sheets 24 are provided, in the cutouts from two sheets 25 so, reach into it that a narrow gap 26 of about 3 millimeters or more is formed between the sheets 24 and 25, through which the breaks be promoted . The plates are mounted on rods 27 and 28 and have holes 29 to provide access to the ammonia everywhere.
It has been shown that it is possible to convey the breaks through the gap simply by pushing them by means of the infeed roller 30 without the breaks occurring or getting stuck. After the development, as with the machine according to FIG. 1, you get into the ventilation space 9.
For the introduction and execution of the breaks, a single roller 30 is provided between the beginnings and the ends of the guide slots, which conveys the breaks in and out of the gap. 31 is the perforated inlet pipe for the introduction of gaseous ammonia to saturate the used ammonia liquid 3. 5 is a pipe provided with holes for direct gassing with ammonia gas. The development area \? is of a tubular:
Enclosed jacket 32 and a further jacket 33, in the space 34 of which there is an insulating layer against heat radiation. 20 are electrical heating devices for heating the metal parts and the ammonia water.
Fig. 5 shows a further embodiment in which the arcuate gap or guide slot is formed on the inside by a perforated and bent sheet metal and on the outside by a bent wire mesh. This apparatus rests on the frame 58.
From the table 6, the breaks, guided by the sheet metal 57, pass via the roller 30, to which they are pressed by the steel band 35, into the guide slot 26, which is formed by the perforated and bent sheet metal 36 and the curved wire mesh 37. The wire mesh 3 7 is attached to the bar 38. From the guide slot 26 the pauses reach the underside of the roller 30, against which they are pressed by the steel belt 39 and then carried along by the roller 30, and into the ventilation duct 40 from the heated sheet metal 41 and the grid 42 is formed.
The guide slot 26, formed from the sheet metal 36 and the grid 37, lies within the development space 2 which is surrounded by the walls 43 and 44. In the development space 2 there is an inclined channel 45 which is heated by suitable heating devices 46 and is used to evaporate the ammonia water. The ammonia water passes through the opening 47 in the side wall of the development space 2 from the drip device 48 attached to the outside onto the heated channel 45.
The drip device 48 contains the sight glass 49 and receives the ammonia water 3 from the bottle 50, whereby the amount of ammonia water to be dripped can be regulated by the valve 51.
The heating rods 52 are located in the development space 2, close to the guide slot 26. Similar heating rods 53 are above the insertion point of the pause, above the resilient steel band 35 and below, the sheet metal 41, of the ventilation channel 40. Gas suction is direct At the entry point at the guide plate 57, a suction line 54 is placed. The ventilation duct 40 is located in the gas 55, the top of which: the table 6 forms. In the box 55, a suction tube 56 takes care of the removal of the developing gases carried along.
The thermometer 59 is used to measure the temperature in the development space 2.
