Bags, especially for fruit. The subject of the invention is a bag, in particular for fruit, which allows its contents to be washed in a convenient manner by rinsing, which removes an inconvenience that is particularly noticeable when fruit is consumed directly from the bag after purchase should.
According to the invention, the bag consists of two nested bags, the inner one being perforated like a sieve at the bottom and the outer one having a drainage opening at the lower end. It is thus possible to simply hold the combined filled bag under a water outlet, with the water flowing out from below after the contents of the bag have been rinsed. The two bags can be glued at opposite points, creating a compartment that can be used to hold waste.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown diagrammatically in an exemplary embodiment. Fig. 1 shows the outer bag, Fig. 2 the inner bag, and Fig. 3 the combined bag.
The outer bag 1 has the usual simple shape of folded and glued bags which, when flat, represent a right-angled equilateral triangle. The lower end of the bag is cut off, resulting in a drain opening 2. The inner bag 3 is shaped similarly so that after being pushed into the outer bag it has a firm fit in the latter. The side walls of the inner bag are unevenly long. When the inner bag is pushed into the outer one, one side wall of the same lies below the edge of the outer bag. The other side wall protrudes beyond that of the outer bag. The lower end 4 of the inner cover is turned over and glued to the side wall.
The part reinforced in this way has holes 5, whereby it acts as a sieve. The two nested bags are glued to each other at opposite points, conveniently in the area of the folds. If necessary, only the lateral edges 7 of the extension of one wall of the inner bag forming a tab 6 can be glued to the outer bag. A compartment for storing waste is thus created between the flap 6 and the opposite part of the outer bag. The same is easy to open because the rag, because it protrudes beyond the wall of the outer bag, can easily be lifted off the latter.
When cleaning fruit, tap water flowing through the bag also has the advantage that the fruit is cooled and therefore has a pleasant freshness. The bag can expediently be made of bil ligem strong paper, whereby square sheets can be used as starting material, so that there is no waste of material.
