Brillengestell.
Glasses frame. The invention relates to an eyeglass frame which, for. B. can be used by military men, since it is provided with a telescope tube, the eyepiece consists of two optical members, one of which is adjustable.
The telescope can preferably be attached so that it can be adjusted on all sides.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 shows the glasses frame with telescope tube seen from above; Fig. 2, 3 and 4 show on a larger scale how the telescope is attached, namely in a view from above, partially in section, in a view from the rear and in a view from the front.
The frame shown is denoted by 1, the telescope by 2. This has an eyepiece with two optical members, one of which can be adjusted by turning the crown 3 for the purpose of focusing. The viewing opening is in 4.
The connection between frame 1 and telescope is made in such a way that the telescope is adjustable on all sides, uud as follows: The bridge of the frame is provided with a longitudinal slot b, in which an angle piece 6 is slidably arranged by means of screws 7 and a resilient plate 8 is. This enables a shift to the left or to the right in the direction of the arrows 9 in FIG. 1.
In the elbow sits rotatably a fork piece 10 which is fixed by a screw 11 with an elastic washer 12 in said elbow. This ent creates the possibility of rotation about a horizontal axis lying parallel to the glasses frame, which is approximately at eye level. A small lever 13 is articulated in the fork piece, to which a plate 14 carrying the telescope 2 is also articulated by means of a screw 15. This creates a combined possibility of movement, which can be seen in the drawing, and which allows the telescope with its viewing opening to be brought in front of the pupil of the eye.
Balls 16 of the elbow 6 are used to better grasp said elbow for longitudinal displacement.
Of course, the fastening organs 6, 10, 13 and 14 could also be attached accordingly to the mirror image in Fig. 1, so that the telescope comes to lie in front of the left eye. These fastening means could also be designed differently, the only condition being that the telescope can be adjusted in all directions.
It goes without saying that the frame, along with the telescope, can be equipped with standard spectacle lenses to correct eye defects.
