Description
Brush holder for paint containers. Brush carriers graze on Farbbehäl tern by means of special fasteners so that the attachment, z. B. Screwing such a brush carrier on the paint container requires a certain amount of time.
This disadvantage is remedied by the brush holder according to the present invention in that means are provided on a receiving part for at least one brush to put it on the edge of a paint container. This means that this brush holder can be placed on a paint container very quickly.
Expediently, tabs are provided as slip-on means on the receiving part, the receiving part and the tabs consisting of one piece. As a result, the manufacture of the brush holder is very simple and correspondingly cheap.
In the accompanying drawings, two embodiments of the subject invention are shown.
Fig. 1 shows the first Ausführungsbei game of the brush holder in view, and Fig. 2 in section along line II-11 of Fig. 1; FIG. 3 is an elevation of a paint container with a brush holder attached, and FIG. 4 is a plan view of FIG. 3; Fig. 5 shows the second Ausführungsbei game of the brush holder in elevation, and Fig. 6 in plan.
The brush carrier shown in Figs. 1 and 2 is made of a piece of sheet steel, namely two walls 2 are formed on a receiving part 1 by bending two edges since Licher. An extension of the receiving part 1 bil Dender strips of the sheet steel piece is folded down and forms under the receiving part 1 a transition piece 3. Approximately in the middle of the receiving part 1, the strip is bent down to a flap 4 from, which is with a rectangular Aus Savings 5 is provided. Two more tabs 6 are punched out of the receiving part 1 and also bent down abge.
In the middle of the tabs 4 and 6, the carrier can be attached to the edge of an ink container 7 (FIGS. 3 and 4). Because the carrier is made of sheet steel, the tabs 4, 6 are resilient and thus enable the carrier to be held securely on the paint container 7 by means of a clamping effect. 8 shows a brush placed on the receiving part 1.
6 and 6, a second exemplary embodiment of the brush holder is shown, which differs from the example of FIGS. 1 and 2 only in that the receiving part 1 is divided by an intermediate wall 9 into two unequal parts, whereby two Compartments for holding brushes of different sizes are formed. The entire carrier is in turn made from a piece of sheet steel.
