Jahreskalender.
Annual calendar. According to the present invention, the calendar has a disc rotatably arranged on a base plate, the base plate and disc being designed in such a way that the day of the week for a specific date can be determined by rotating the latter.
The base plate of the calendar can be designed as a pocket calendar, wall calendar, book cover, etc. of any shape and size depending on the use.
In the drawing, for example, embodiments of the subject invention are shown.
Fig. 1 is a view of the annual calendar in pocket format, Fig. 2 shows the base plate and Fig. 3 shows the disk rotatable on it; Fig. 4 is a center section of the annual calendar of Fig. 1; Fig. 5 shows an embodiment as a hanging calendar; Fig. 6 shows a union of the annual calendar with a book cover or book calendar cover; 7 shows a combination of the calendar with a wall calendar provided with a tear-off calendar.
The annual calendar designed as a pocket format according to Fig. 1 to 4 has a base plate 1, on which means of a rivet 2, a smaller disc 3 is rotatably arranged. As FIG. 2 shows, the base plate 1 is divided into 35 equally sized sectors x. The part of the base plate standing over the disk 3 is marked with 4 and consecutively provided with the date numbers 1 to 31 in sectors.
Furthermore, the base plate 1 is designated five times in succession within the edge 4 with the seven days of the week “Sunday”, “Monday”, “Tuesday”, “Wednesday”, etc., where the date number “1” is Sunday, the date number “2 "Monday etc., then correctly follow the date number" 8 "again the \ Sunday, the date number" 9 "the Monday etc., then consequently the date number" 15 "again Sunday, the date number" 16 "the Monday etc. assigned.
The disc 3 has a radial reading section 5 and on the edge, which is denoted by 6, in certain Ab stands from the section 5, the designation for the twelve months in the form of numbers. The calendar shown in the drawing is divided for the year 1933, for example. Since this year begins with a Sunday, the reading section must be positioned in such a way that when the number "1" corresponding to the month of January is set on the date number "1", the designation "Sunday" is visible. The other month designations are located in relation to the reading excerpt so that when the relevant month designation is set to the date number "1" in section 5, the day of the week with which the relevant month begins appears.
For example, since the month of May in 1933 begins with a Monday, the designation "5" corresponding to this month must be located in relation to the reading section in such a way that when section 5 is set to "Monday", the same under the date number "1" stand comes. Since the designation "Monday" is now available five times on the base plate 1, there are also five possible positions for the arrangement of the designation "5" corresponding to the month of May. This is now the case in the same way for every other month and makes it possible to distribute the month designation almost evenly on the edge of the pane.
The drawn annual calendar for the year 1934 can be used by attaching another reading cutout to the right of the cutout for the year 1933, i.e. in the sector to the right. In this section, if the month designation "1" was set under the date number "1", the designation "Monday", whichever day the year 1934 begins, would be visible. For the year 1935, a reading section would have to be in the second next sector to the right of the section 5 are provided.
For the year 1936, the reading excerpt, since it is a leap year, would be arranged in the fourth sector to the right of the sector marked with the excerpt 5, whereby the positions for the names of the months January and February would have to be corrected in the Meaning that the relevant designations "1" and "2" would have to be moved to the sector to the right of an. The same is also the case for the leap year 1932, the reading of which would have to be formed to the left of the cutout 5.
For example, a corresponding reading section labeled with the relevant year could be arranged in disk 3 for each year, with the designations "1" and "2" being provided for the months of January and February for leap years with a special color. In addition, for the sake of clarity, a special color is selected for the month numbers on the disc 3, while the date numbers on the base plate 1 can be black.
For example, if the calendar described is to be used to determine which day of the week corresponds to February 5, the number "2" corresponding to the month of February is set to the date number "5". In section 5, the weekday "Sunday" can be read off. If, on the other hand, it should be determined on which date, for example, the first Sunday of December falls, then the number "12" corresponding to the month of December is set to the date number "1" and turned forward until in section 5 of the Weekday "Sunday" appears, which is the case on December 3rd.
As Fig. 5 shows, the calendar described can be formed for hanging on a wall, for which purpose the base plate 1 is formed with an extension provided with a hanging hole.
Fig. 6 shows how the base plate of the annual calendar, for example, the cover or cover 8 of a book (notebook or Ka lender book) can form.
In Fig. 7 a combination of the annual calendar with a wall calendar 10 provided with tear-off scales of 9 is Darge, the base plate 1 itself forming the wall calendar 10.
The back of the annual calendar, as well as the free space of the disc 3, can be provided with advertising imprint.
