Additional patent to the main patent no. 144555. Machine for tying sausages. The subject of the present invention is a further embodiment of the machine for tying sausages according to the patent claim of the main patent no. 144555. In the machine according to the main patent, the thread loop must move the filling compound in the tightly filled casing during the loop formation and the subsequent knot formation. This work to be carried out by the thread is very considerable, and if larger pieces of meat are stored at the point of separation, it may happen that the loop cannot be tightened enough to ensure a complete closure of the casing at the end of each sausage.
To remedy these drawbacks; According to the present invention, means are provided which displace the filling compound from the points where the loop is placed and the knot is formed. It can e.g. B. inevitably controlled, radially acting on the bulging bowel shaped pieces can be seen before, which are adjusted like an iris diaphragm radially outwards and inwards, and thereby move the filling compound and create space for the thread loop. The work of displacing the filling compound is therefore removed from the mechanism for forming the knot.
An example embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing.
1 shows a view, FIG. 2 shows a section along the line H-II in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows part of the section according to FIG. 2 on a larger scale; Fig. 4 is a section along the line IV-IV of Fig. 3 on a smaller scale; Fig. 5 shows a detail.
The filled casing is pushed into the .Büchse 1 in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 2) and conveyed on by means not shown in the drawing. In addition, only those parts are shown in the accompanying drawings that are necessary to explain the present invention. The sleeve 1 is rotatably mounted in the machine frame. At one end, it has a toothed ring 2 with which a toothed piston 3 meshes. With the latter, a toothed segment 4 is in engagement, which is also pivotably mounted in the machine frame. A roller 5 is rotatably mounted on segment 4; this is always pressed against the circumference of an eccentric disk 6 by a spring 7 acting on the segment.
The latter is set in rotation by a drive device via the shaft 8.
On the other hand, the bush 1 has two cams 10 standing in front of it, which protrude into corresponding grooves 11 of a driver ring 12 (FIGS. 3 and 5). The ring 12 is rotatably mounted between two rings 13, 14 firmly connected to the machine frame. The funnel 16 which deflects the finished sausages is attached to the ring 14. Furthermore, a number of bores are provided in the ring 14, in which trunnions 18 of segment-shaped pieces 19 (displacer) are eiiigepat. Each of these fittings 19 also has a pin 20.
The pins 20 protrude into radially directed grooves 21 of the ring 12, in which they are freely guided.
The operation of the machine is as follows: During the loop formation and subsequent knot formation around the filled therein, an increased part of the eccentric 6 hits the roller 5 and swings the segment 4 against the action of the spring 7. As a result, the toothed piston 3 and the sleeve 1 are rotated. The latter takes the ring 12 with it by means of the cam 10. Since the pins 20 of the fittings 19 protrude into the grooves 21 of the ring, they are adjusted radially inward when the ring is rotated, i.e. H. the mold pieces 19 are pivoted about their pivot pin 18 a downward. An inwardly pivoted fitting 19 is shown in phantom in FIG.
The shaped pieces 19 are thus adjusted in the manner of an iris diaphragm, they compress the filled intestine. At this point, the knot is then tied around the compressed intestine in a manner not explained in greater detail here.
Instead of an iris diaphragm, as is used to close openings, etc., other slides, levers, etc., which are moved in a straight line or in an arc, could also be used. Furthermore, pressure rollers that revolve around the intestine and can be adjusted with respect to this could be provided, etc. The work of displacing the filling material takes place while the thread is placed in a loop around the intestine, so that a relatively long time remains to carry out this work and the intestines can be spared.
A further improvement of the machine consists, for example, in the fact that means are provided by means of which the casing can be switched forward by only a part of a full switch after a number of full switches, so that two buttons are placed close to each other and the casing between the ones thus formed Knot can be cut through. It is customary to make the sausages in grates of 6, 8 and 10 pieces, which then form a so-called ring. By setting the ejection mechanism accordingly, it can be achieved that, for a number of full ejection movements, one takes place that only advances the casing a little.
