Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 166222. Verfahren zur Darstellung eines chromierbaren grünen Nonoazofarbstofes. Das vorliegende Verfahren betrifft die Darstellung eines chromierbaren grünen Mono- azofarbatoffes und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man dianotiertes 4,6-Dichlor-o-aminophe- nol mit 1-Phenylamino-8-naphtol-4-sulfonsäure kuppelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 17,8 kg 4,6-Dichlor-o-aminophenol als Chlorhydrat werden mit Wasser und Eis angerührt, mit 6,9 kg Nitrit dianotiert und alkalisch, essigsauer oder neutral mit 3l,5 kg 1-Phenylamino-8-naphtol-4-sulfonsäure ge kuppelt. Nach beendigter Reaktion wird er wärmt, mit Salz gefällt, filtriert und ge trocknet. Der Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar. Er löst sich in Wasser mit blauer, in verdünnter Natronlauge mit roter, in kon zentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grauvioletter und in Alkohol mit rotblauer Farbe.
Auf Wolle färbt er nach dem Nachehromierungs- oder Monochromverfahren ein hervorragend echtes blaustichiges Grün.

The present process relates to the preparation of a chromable green monoazo-carbate and is characterized in that dianotated 4,6-dichloro-o-aminophenol is coupled with 1-phenylamino-8-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid.
<I> Example: </I> 17.8 kg 4,6-dichloro-o-aminophenol as chlorine hydrate are mixed with water and ice, dianotized with 6.9 kg nitrite and alkaline, acetic acid or neutral with 3l, 5 kg 1 -Phenylamino-8-naphthol-4-sulfonic acid coupled. When the reaction is complete, it is warmed, precipitated with salt, filtered and dried. The dye is a dark powder. It dissolves in water with blue, in dilute sodium hydroxide solution with red, in concentrated sulfuric acid with gray-violet and in alcohol with red-blue color.
On wool, he dyes an excellent, true blue-tinged green using the post-alignment or monochrome process.
