Erde, Wählerarm vdl, Arbeitskontakt rIIII, Ruhe kontakt t1111, Drehmagnet Dl, Unterbrecher RUl, Batterie, Erde.
Circuit arrangement for telegraph systems with voter operation. In telegraph systems with switching operations, it has hitherto been customary to assign the triggering switching means in the manner known for telephone systems to one of the connection stages used to establish a connection, so that the triggering in each case from this point in both directions, i.e. both in the direction of the calling party , as well as to the called subscriber.
Such a so-called forward and backward release, however, entails the risk of a new assignment due to any incorrect impulses for telegraph systems in which the circuits containing the connection switching means also partially contain the sensitive and rapidly responding relays serving for impulse transmission of connection switching means occurs. This risk is particularly acute when the connections are made via remote transmissions.
The above-mentioned difficulties can be avoided according to the invention in that in a connection established between two subscribers when a subscriber gives the final signal, the connection switching means within the switching center connected to the line of the calling subscriber is only initiated by the switching means assigned to the line of this subscriber .
These switching means can in turn depend on the switching means controlled by the calling as well as by the called subscriber, so that a final pulse causing the triggering can be given in a known manner by both the calling and the called subscriber .
The necessary differentiation in the switching status of the two subscriber connection circuits within the exchange, which is necessary for carrying out the invention, can be achieved in a simple manner by utilizing the different assignment direction for both connection circuits when establishing the connection.
It is clear that the switching means belonging to a subscriber connection circuit are actuated in a different order when the connection is established, depending on whether it is the connection of the calling subscriber occupied by the calling subscriber or the connection via the connection switching means , that is, the line of the called subscriber is busy in the opposite direction.
Switching means can therefore be provided that are operated depending on the occupancy direction or remain idle, so that it is possible to form the circuit in such a way that the switching means are triggered by one only on the side of the calling party Subscriber made dependent on the relay coming into effect. The call relay can be used with particular advantage for this relay, so that only a single relay is required instead of the two relays previously required for the two processes - calling from the subscriber to the exchange and maintaining the connection established.
This results in the requirement to switch the call relay when the connection is established in such a way that it maintains the switching state assumed during the call process for the duration of the connection. In the event that the call relay, which is in the idle state on the subscriber loop, is made to respond by closing the subscriber loop, this means that the state of excitation, which only needs to exist for the duration of the call, is in a hold state for the Duration of the existing connection is converted. This can expediently be done by switching the relay to a holding circuit that is independent of the subscriber loop when the connection is established.
This Umschalturig can be made dependent on any maintenance measure occurring during the connection. It is useful to use the return pulse for this purpose, which is transmitted to the calling subscriber as a dial tone in a manner known per se.
More details. The invention will be apparent from the Ausfüh described below and shown in the drawing approximately example.
The drawing shows in its upper and lower part two similarly switched subscriber lines with the parts of the switching circuit that are essential for the invention. The subscriber station TSZ is connected via a double line with the: Schaltmit means TA1 of the subscriber line in the exchange. This has connection switching means, to which a preselection stage VII'1 and the further connec tion stage VS1 belong, via which the subscriber line can be switched through.
In a corresponding way, the subscriber station TS2 is connected to the switching connection TA2 and can be switched through via the preselection stage VW2 ziz belonging to this connection stage VS2.
The two connection levels VS1 and 1-'S2, which are connected to each other via a line system VL, can lie in a common office, for example, so that, calculated by the subscriber TS1, the rectangle VS1 is the first, by the preselection The elective level found and Reckteck VS2 can be the last elective level looking for the desired participant.
or they can belong to two different offices, so that the line system VL is formed from connecting lines or trunk lines.
For a more detailed explanation of the circuit; it is assumed that a connection is to be established from subscriber TS1 to subscriber TS2.
As soon as the subscriber TS1 presses the on button ET 1 , the call relay R1 in the exchange is activated by closing the subscriber loop: Battery BlII, call relay P1, normally closed contact v11, button ETI, Break contact inch. Switch-on relay El, battery MM The contact rlI is closed to prepare the holding circuit for this relay, while the preselector starts up via contact r1III:
Earth, selector arm vdl, normally open contact rIIII, normally closed contact t1111, rotary magnet Dl, interrupter RUl, battery, earth.
As soon as the preselector has found a free line to the connection stage VSI, a circuit for the test relay T1 is established in a known manner via the line core cl, the test arm vcl, the normally open contact r1III and the contact arm vdl connected to earth Windings I and II run in series. The relay T1 responds and separates the circuit of the rotary magnet Dl by moving the contact tIIII, so that the selector remains on the connection reached.
The high-resistance winding II of the test relay TI is short-circuited via the normally open contact tIIII and the contacts r111 and r1111, which have already been closed, and the subscriber connection is identified as occupied in a known manner.
By closing the working contacts t11 and tl.II, the two lines coming from the transmission relays of the subscriber connection TAI are switched through to the contact arms zral and vbl of the preselector VWl and across them to the connection stage VS] (line cores a1 and b1). At the same time, a return pulse is given via wire b1 in a manner known per se,
which brings about the reversal of the current direction-sensitive relay V1. This is made possible by the fact that the current direction of the return pulse is opposite to the direction of the current flowing in the idle state via the relay V1, which is supplied by the battery BIII:
Battery BlII, normally closed contact tIII, winding 1 of relay V1, normally closed contact vIIII, battery B1II. The non-polarized relay V1 is designed in a manner known per se as a delay relay and is made sensitive to the direction of the current by attaching a winding II through which an auxiliary current flows.
By contact vlI, the call relay B1 is separated from the subscriber loop and a switchover of the subscriber loop to the transmission relay ER of the subscriber line is prepared. At the same time, a holding circuit for the call relay BI is established via contact v1II, so that nothing changes in its state of excitation: Battery BIIII, call relay El, make contacts v1II and rlI, contact erl, battery B11 .
As a result of the opening contact vIIII, the short circuit existing in the idle state for the polarized relay SEI is lifted, so that it is reversed according to the direction of the current flowing in the wire b1.
The anchor srl therefore moves from the illustrated rest position, which can be referred to as "incorrect" rest position because of the deviation from the rest position assumed during operation and corresponding to the separation position, in never a separation position and thereby simultaneously establishes the remote switch-on circuit for the subscriber station:
Battery BII, left winding of the relay ER1, folded contacts srl and vII, switch-on button ETl (respectively the capacitor C1 with series resistance are in parallel), normally closed contact ulI, polarized switch-on relay El, battery B11. The short-circuiting of the relay SEI by contact v1III in the idle state is of crucial importance.
If it were not available, the relay SEI would be effective sam as a result of its training as a fast-responding relay before the delay relay V1 and thus the contact srl would be switched before the contact vII. Incorrect control of the relay ERI as a result of its left winding being de-energized would be the inevitable consequence.
Regardless of whether the switch-on button ET I is still pressed or not, the switch-on relay EI is energized in the manner described above, namely the direction of the current that is now flowing is opposite to the direction of the during the call process from the battery BIII over the subscriber loop current flowing, so that a changeover of the relay El and a closure of the contact e1 takes place.
The relay U1 is connected to the mains voltage N through the contact e1, so that it responds and starts the drive motor Ml of the telegraph apparatus by closing the contacts uIII and uIIII.
This gives the participant a free sign, which indicates that he can now begin with the further election. At the same time, the contact ulI has also been switched over and here finally closed by the participant loop:
Battery BII, left winding of relay ERI, relocated contacts srl and vlI, terminating button ST1, working contact ulI, receiving magnet EMI, sending contact (or also number disc contact) SKI, switch-on relay EI, battery BlI.
If the calling subscriber TSl has the connection levels V81 and. VS2 and the line system VL away the pre selector connection V1472 of the desired participant TS2 reached, the test relay TZ is excited in a known manner via the third wire c2 'and the selector arms vc2 and vd2.
The relocation of the contact t2III caused by this remains ineffective, since the contacts r2II and r2III are not closed even during the other switching operations.
The incoming lines a2 'and b2' are switched through to the transmission relay of the subscriber connection TA2 via the contacts t2I and t2II. In this case, the closed circuit for the delay relay V2 fed by the battery B2II is separated by the contact t2II and a new circuit running over the wire b2 'with the opposite current direction is closed.
The relay V2 is thus controlled in the manner already described above.
The contact v2I is switched over and prepared by closing the telegraph loop. The closure of the contact v2II has no effect, since the call relay P2 is not energized and does not respond in the further course of the connection. The short circuit for relay 8'12 in the idle state is canceled by contact v2III. so that this relay is reversed according to the current direction.
The contact sr2 goes from the illustrated false rest position to the separating position and closes because of the remote switch-on circuit for the subscriber station TS2: Battery B2I, left winding of relay EP2, transferred contacts sr2 and v2I, capacitor (with series resistance) C2, normally closed contact uff, a switching relay E2, battery B21.
The polarized switch-on relay E2, which has a high response speed, is reversed by the charging current surge flowing through the capacitor C2, so that the contact e2 connects the relay U2, which also responds quickly, to the mains voltage N. The capacitor C2 is bridged by the contact u21 and the short circuit for the receiving magnet E312 and the transmitting contact 8I2 is canceled, so that the subscriber loop is now galvanically connected.
The capacitor C2 must be dimensioned so large that the charging current surge lasts long enough to maintain a sufficiently strong current flow in the left winding of the relay EP2 until the final electrical connection of the subscriber loop. The operational readiness of the station TS2 is completed by the fact that the contacts u2II and u2III connect the motor 1112 to the mains voltage N.
During the telegraphic traffic that now follows, a stream of characters given by the station TS1, for example, takes the following path: During the interruption of the telegraph loop corresponding to the character pulse by the send contact SKI.
the left winding of the polarized relay ER1 is de-energized, so that it is reversed in a known manner under the influence of the auxiliary current flowing through the right winding and the after-training resistor N1II, until the signaling pulse stops due to the predominant effect of the left winding current flowing through the relay armature.
For the duration of the character pulse, the contact is placed from the positive pole of the battery BII, which is earthed with its negative pole, to the negative pole of the battery BIII earthed with its positive pole, so that a character current surge to the subscriber connection via the contact tlI, the selector arm val and the line wire cal TA2 is sent.
For the duration of the transfer of the contact, the call relay Ptl is short-circuited, but the switching state of the relay is retained because it works with a delayed drop and the character pulse has only a short duration.
At the subscriber connection TA2, the signal surge arrives via the line wire b2 'and is fed to the relay I'2 and SR2 via the contact t2II. The earth connection serves as the power return. Relay V2 is not affected because it is provided with a dropout delay and the character current surge only lasts for a short time. The polarized relay SR2, on the other hand, is controlled by so that the contact sr2 goes from the separating layer into the symbol position shown.
For the relay ER2, the disconnected subscriber loop is replaced by a simulation resistor N2I, so that nothing changes in the state of excitation of this relay. In contrast, when the subscriber loop is de-energized, the receiving magnet EilT2 is influenced, so that the characters sent by the station TS1 are printed by the telex machine of the subscriber TS2. The impulse transmission in the opposite direction takes place in a corresponding manner, so that repetition is not necessary.
The switching states of the subscriber connections TA1 and TA2 differ, as can be seen from the above description of the current flows, in that in the connection circuit TAI assigned to the calling subscriber, the call relay (R1) is energized in the connection circuit T_9 assigned to the called subscriber .2 is not excited.
This ensures that the release of the existing connection within the exchange can only be initiated by actuating the relay R1 assigned to the calling station within the connection circuit TAI, since the call relay is also used as a connection holding relay. The pulse causing the triggering can be transmitted from both the calling and the called subscriber.
For example, if the calling subscriber TS'1 presses the terminating key STI after the end of the traffic, in order to break the connection again, the subscriber loop is interrupted for the duration of the actuation of the terminating key and the left winding of the relay ER1 is in the connection position TA1 de-energized for a correspondingly long time.
The relay armature Erl therefore moves for a longer time in comparison to the character pulses in the opposite character position to the one shown, so that the short-circuited delay relay R1 drops out. Breaking contact r1I prevents premature re-excitation. The contacts r1II and r1III interrupt the circuit for the test relay T1, so that it drops out, and that as a result of the failure of the test wire cl, the triggering of the further selection stages is also brought about in a known manner.
Via the contact t1III returning to the rest position, the preselector is controlled home in a known manner. The leads cal and b1 are separated by the contacts t11 and t1II, while at the same time a new circuit for the relays V1 and SB1 is closed via the contact t1II.
The direction of the current flowing in this circuit and supplied by the battery BIII is opposite to that of the previously flowing current, so that first the relay SR1 and some time later the relay V1 is reversed.
The armature SR-1 thus returns to the position presented and causes the excitation of the left winding of the relay ERl via the equivalent resistor NII, whereupon the armature Erl also returns to the separation position shown. A short time later, when relay V1 is reversed, contacts v1I, v1II and v1III are returned to the rest position shown.
Here, the battery B1II is placed on the subscriber loop through the contact v1I over the relay B1, so that the switch relay El, after the button STl is closed again, receives an impulse in the opposite direction of current and in this way the contact e1 is separated again becomes. The relay U1 is thus de-energized and stops the teletype machine by opening the contacts u1II and u1III.
The contact u1I also goes into the rest position and thereby effects the final separation of the subscriber loop, as is required for the call process.
Since the relays E1 and U1 drop quickly, the subscriber loop is de-energized before the delayed relay B1 has come back to Anspre chen. This prevents incorrect switching.
When the connection, which goes through the various connection levels in the direction from the calling to the called subscriber, falls apart, the line wire e2 'at the preselector VW2 of the called subscriber is also de-energized, so that the test relay T2 also drops out here . The other switching operations leading to the restoration of the idle state correspond to those described for subscriber TS1.
If the impulse causing the triggering is given by the called subscriber TS2, the following switching processes take place: In subscriber connection T12, when the end button 8T2 is pressed, relay ER2 is reversed, so that when contact er2 is switched a correspondingly long, otherwise one Character impulse of the same type via connection stages VS2,
VSl and the line VL away to the connection circuit T, 11 is sent. In addition to reversing the polarized pulse transmission relay SRI, which does not trigger any special effects, the reversal of the delay relay V1, which is sensitive to the
v1II and vlIII return to the positions shown.
Contact v1III short-circuits relay SR1 so that it can no longer change its position. The contact v1II disconnects the local circuit of the connection holding relay B1, but this relay does not drop out at first because it is connected to the subscriber loop via the contact v1I.
This connection means, however, since the battery BIII now comes into effect, a current reversal in the subscriber loop and accordingly a reversal of the polarized relay El at subscriber TS1. The contact e1 is separated and this brings the relay U1 to the ball,
which stops the motor M1 by separating the contacts uIII and ulIII and interrupts the current flow in the subscriber loop by switching the contact ulI.
In the exchange, the relay R1 finally comes to waste because, as already mentioned, the local circuit is also disconnected. The relay B1 initiates the triggering of the switching means used to establish the connection in the manner described above.
