The object of the present invention is a device making it possible to supply, by means of a single group, with fuel and oxidant, several burners. This device is characterized in that it comprises two pipes intended to contain fuel and oxidant respectively, to which are connected, in derivation, the pipes supplying the burners, the single group having means allowing to supply the fuel and the combura.nt to the aforesaid pipes, other means moreover making it possible to operate each burner separately.
The accompanying drawings show. To. By way of example and schematically, a form of execution of the object of the invention.
La fig. 1 est une vue de quatre chaudie- res dont les britleurs sont alimentes en zom- bustible et en comburant par un dispositif se- Ion 1'invention; fig. 1 is a view of four boilers whose burners are fed with fuel and oxidizer by a device according to the invention;
2 is a view of the means allowing both rebler 1a consumption: of each burner.
The device represented comprises a group 1 comprising a nurse 2, in which, via the conduit 3, the fuel is sucked up and from which it is driven out by a pump, sucking and pressing, into a pipe 4 ; the pressure in the latter is controlled by a by-pass placed in the manifold 2 and regulated once and for all so that a pressure fixed in advance is not exceeded. The aforesaid pump is driven by a motor 5 actuating, on the other hand, a fan 6, which supplies the first oxidant to. 1a. pipeline 7. Las briileurs 8, 9, 10, 11, respectively heating the boilers 12, 13, 14, 15, are supplied with fuel by the conduits 1.6, 17, 18, 19 and comburant by the conduits 20, 21, 22 , 23, these conduits being branched off to pipes 4 and 7.
The operation of each burner is individually controlled by a set of means. @d6signgs respectively by A@, A2, A3, A4. One of these sets, A, for example, is as seen in fig. 2: 10 A device 24 provided with a lever 2.5 aotionnant a shutter member, said lever 6 being electrically controlled by a switch 26; it is obvious that the action of the latter could be replaced by the action of a thermostat placed in boiler 12; because of the device 24, the oil only reaches the burner under pressure.
20 A by-pass 27 makes it possible to reduce the Pressure of the oil supplied by the conduits 16 and 28, to the Pressure for which the burner 8 is rdg16; the excess oil is evacuated through line 29, then finally through manifold 30 returns to the tank, while line 31 supplies the burner.
It is also possible, in another form of execution, to freeze the rod 32 to a lever actuated by the boiler thermostat and thus adjust the quantity of oil supplied to the burner.
30 A cylinder 33 whose piston 34, subject to the pressure variations occurring in the first conduit 31, actuates through the intermediary of the rod 35, on the one hand, a lever 36 r6, -laut opening of the valve 3 7 feeding by comburant the first burner 8, on the other hand, the first the vier 38 - controlling the circuits of the alarm and security devices. A manometer 40 indicates the pressure for each burner.
In Gas where the Pressure of the oil supplying each burner can vary only to a small extent, that is to say in the case where the variation of the heat production is obtained by varying the number of boilers in operation, the 1st device works as follows: The pump placed in the manifold 2 is calculated to supply the oil, when all the burners are in operation, under a minimum pressure, for example of 10 kg, the 1st fan 6 supplying .of the oxidizer in Proportion; the burners heating each boiler
sont r6gles pour absorber du combustible sous une Pression pouvant vagier dann une Faible Limite, mais dont 1e maximum est en tous Gas inferieur au minimum de la Pression de 10 kg fournie par la pompe de la nourrice; cette Pression pourra, par exemple, vagier entre 7 et 5 kg pour 1e brüleur actionnant la chau diAre 12, eile pourra vagier entre 5 et 3 kg pour 1a. chaudiere 15, etc.; si maintena-nt tont 1e dispositif est en fonetion, la Pression du combustibde dans la canalisation 4 est de 10 kg et 1e by-pass 2 7 commandant chaque brüleur reduit cette Pression ä la valeur pour laquelle il est r6g1e; si, la consomination dimi nuant, an arr6te 1e chauffage dune ehaudiere et cela au moyen de son appareil 24, la Pres sion aura tendance ä augmenter dans la ca nalisation 4, ce qui aura pour effet d'action ner 1e by-pass place dans la nourrice 2 qui evacuera Phuile pomp6e en exces par 1'inter m6diaire,du conduit 39. are adjusted to absorb fuel under a Pressure which may vary within a Low Limit, but whose maximum is in all Gases less than the minimum Pressure of 10 kg supplied by the manifold pump; this pressure may, for example, vary between 7 and 5 kg for the first burner operating the boiler 12, it may vary between 5 and 3 kg for 1a. boiler 15, etc.; if maintena-nt all the first device is in fonetion, the pressure of the combustibde in the pipe 4 is 10 kg and the first bypass 27 controlling each burner reduces this pressure to the value for which it is r6g1e; if, the consumption decreasing, the heating of a boiler is stopped and this by means of its device 24, the pressure will tend to increase in the pipe 4, which will have the effect of activating the by-pass placed in Manifold 2 which will evacuate the excess pumped oil via conduit 39.
The valve, controlling the arrival of air to each burner, actuated by a piston subjected to the action of the pressure of the oil supplying said burner, opens and closes automatically according to the variations of said pressure.
In Gas, where the 2:6 switch and the bypass 27, for example, are controlled by the thermostat of the corresponding boiler, the variations in the quantities of fuel and oxidant supplied to the installation are then automatically proportionate to variations in the quantities of heat consumed at said installation.
