Device on shafts to reduce torsional vibrations. The invention relates to a device on shafts to reduce torsional vibrations, in particular vibrations of crankshafts Mittelelst schwin gender masses which are movably connected at hinge points by arms with rigidly connected to the shaft which hinge points are movably connected.
Known devices of this type, in which the arms can not rotate indefinitely around the hinge rigidly connected to the shaft, must share with damping to dampen the blows that occur when the vibrating masses at Ge speed changes with other construction in contact be equipped with locking devices. The invention, even without damping devices to be arranged, shocks entirely avoided.
The invention consists in that the arms and the masses are arranged, formed and dimensioned in such a way that the arms in the plane of vibration can rotate around the pivot points rigidly connected to the shaft without limitation.
An embodiment of the subject invention is on the drawing provides Darge.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section of the device, and Fig. 2 shows a cross section along the line I-I of FIG.
The driving shaft 1 drives the driven shaft 2 by means of the two coupling members 3 and 4. 'The ends of the two shafts 1 and 2 are members with the coupling 3 respectively. 4 through the screws 5 respectively. 6 and the two coupling members 3 and 4 by the screws 7 rigidly verbun the. The oscillating masses 8-13 are mounted in the bearings 20, 2'1 of the coupling members by means of the eccentric articulated arms 14-19.
The eccentrics and the masses are arranged, designed and dimensioned in such a way that they can turn around in the bearings 20, 21 in the plane of oscillation without limit, without hitting fixed parts, as indicated by the masses 8 'and 13' shown in dash-dotted lines. The center points 22, 22 'of the eccentrics move on circles 23, 24, which lie in the plane of vibration and whose center points 25, 26 are located in the axis of the bearings 20, 2'1. This will share shocks between the masses and the rest of the construction avoided and spares devices for damping the shock effects.
Advantageously, a plurality of vibrating masses are arranged in such devices, which in cases where vibrations of different ordinal numbers occur, ver different sizes and weights can have. The length of the arms, that is to say the oscillation radii, can also have different sizes from mass to mass and be adapted to the frequency of the oscillations to be damped.
If necessary, the two shafts can be connected to each other by elastic members and each be provided with such a device, the masses and arms of which are dimensioned and arranged so that on the one hand the torsional vibrations on the side of one shaft part and on the other hand the torsional vibrations on the side of the other Wave part are damped.
In special cases, it can be advantageous to connect masses that are used to reduce torsional vibrations of the same frequency with one another in such a way that they inevitably vibrate at the same rate. With Kol benmaschinen the vibrating masses can be stored directly on the cranks.
