Description
Wettersehenkel an Fensterrahmen.
Weather handle on window frame. The present invention relates to a weather leg on the lining frame of Fen star, which replaces the hitherto executed th lining frame weather leg and prevent water impact and improve the window sealing. The weather bar is characterized by a profile strip made of aluminum sheet attached to the lining frame, which overlaps the window sill with an outwardly downward sloping part, rests against the closed window sash with a stop surface and is held with an inner edge in a groove of the lining frame.
In the drawing, an execution example of the subject invention is provided. Fig. 1 shows the bar in the show image, while Figs. 2 and 3 shows this in application to two different Fen star.
The profile strip produced from aluminum sheet by pressing has an outwardly downwardly inclined part 1, an inwardly steeply ascending leg 3 and inside a downwardly curved stop leg 8, the lower edge part 4 of which engages in a milled groove in the wood lining frame. The bar is screwed to the lining frame adapted in the shape of the bar by screws 5. Part 1 is based on a bend 6 on the window sill and thus seals the window sill against the lining frame. The ascending leg 3 ver prevents water impact together with part 1, and the leg 8 forms a stop surface 7 on the inside, which rests against the closed window sash and forms a third window stop.
The weather bar described simplifies the window fabrication by eliminating the wood lining frame weather bar and brings a gain in light height and a cheaper window because the aluminum bar is narrow and rust-free and does not require painting.
The aluminum used is advantageously that of about 99 ° purity.
