Sitzpolsterung für Sättel, insbesondere Fahrzeugen. Die bis jetzt verwendeten Sitzpolsterungen für Sättel von Fahrzeugen, insbesondere von Fahr- und Motorrädern, bestehen aus einem mit Filzeinlage versehenen Stoffüberzug. Es zeigt sich nun, dass sich der Filz mit der Zeit härtet, insbesondere wenn er nass wird. Ferner nimmt der Filz die Schweissgerüche auf, was sich unangenehm bemerkbar macht.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist nun eine Sitzpolsterung für Sättel von Fahrzeugen, durch welche diese Nachteile sicher behoben werden sollen. Erfindungs gemäss soll dies erreicht werden durch ein Überzugsstück, das mit einer porösen Gummi einlage versehen ist.
Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dargestellt, und es zeigt von derselben Fig. 1 eine Ansicht gegen die Sattel anliegeseite, resp. von unten und Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie I-II der Fig. 1. Die gezeichnete Sitzpolsterung weist ein Überzugsgehäuse 1 aus Stoff auf, welches die Kontur eines Fahrzeugsattels besitzt. Die obere resp. die Sitzseite ist mit einem Plüsch belag 2 versehen. Die Sattelanliegeseite be sitzt nahe dem verjüngten vorderen Ende eine schlitzartige Öffnung 3.
Beim Gebrauch ist durch die Öffnung 3 das Vorderende des Fahrzeugsattels in das Überzugsgehäuse ein gesteckt. An der Umfangsseite ist ein nach unten gerichteter Saumrand 4 angenäht, der sich über den ganzen hintern Teil bis etwas über die Längsmitte nach vorn hin erstreckt. Durch den Saumrand 4 ist ein aus einer Schnur bestehendes Anzugsorgan 5 geführt. Der Innenraum des Überzugsgehäuses ist nun mit einer porösen Gummieinlage 6 ausge polstert. Die Gummieinlage 6 ist mit Löchern 7 versehen, welche die Luftventilation be günstigen.
Zwecks Anordnung am Sattel steckt man das vordere Ende desselben in die Öffnung 3 und zieht das Überzugsgehäuse 1 nach hinten. Den Saumrand 4 stülpt man über die Um- fangseite des Sattels nach unten und zieht das Anzugsorgan b an, worauf dieses ver- knöpft wird.
Die beschriebene Polsterung ermöglicht dem Fahrer einen dauerhaft weichen Sitz. Die poröse Gummieinlage ist nicht merklich wärmeleitend; infolgedessen bleibt die Sitz oberfläche kühler als bei bekannten Pol sterungen, Feuchtigkeit beeinträchtigt die poröse Gummieinlage in ihrer Nachgiebigkeit nicht und gibt keinen Anlass zur Bildung harter Stellen.
Die Polsterung eignet sich speziell für Sättel von Fahrzeugen, kann aber auch für Sattelstühle etc. und sonstige Sattelsitze ver wendet werden.

In use, the front end of the vehicle saddle is inserted into the cover housing through the opening 3. On the circumferential side a downwardly directed hem edge 4 is sewn, which extends over the entire rear part to a little over the longitudinal center towards the front. A tightening member 5 consisting of a cord is guided through the hem edge 4. The interior of the cover housing is now upholstered with a porous rubber insert 6. The upholstery described enables the driver to have a permanently soft seat. The porous rubber insert is not noticeably thermally conductive; As a result, the seat surface remains cooler than with known Pol sterungen, moisture does not affect the flexibility of the porous rubber insert and does not give rise to the formation of hard spots.
The padding is especially suitable for vehicle saddles, but can also be used for saddle chairs, etc. and other saddle seats.
