Die beiden vom Münziern- sprecher aIgelienden Adern a,
Teilströme in 'beiden Adern gleich gross wären, -ablenkt.
Der Kontakt94g wird geöffnet und dadurch. das Zustandekommen eines über den Kontakt 6'Oh verlaufend-en Erregoerkreises für die Wieklung II des Re lais Bes im Geld- und Zeiteinsteller GZE, ein Vorgang, der später noch ausführlich erläutert wird, verhindert.- Sobald nun das RelaisG die Richtigkeit der erfolgten Bezahlung- geprüft hat, ü;
Das --RelaisG spricht in diesem Strom kreis an, wodurch wie vorher die Richtigkeit der Einzahlung gekenn eielinet ist.- Dia Einleitung der Auslösung des Zonen prüfers ZPR erfolgt wiederum durch Relais H. Das Relais U, das als Verzögeruncrsrelais ausgebildet ist, fällt kurze Zeit nach Öffnen des Kontaktes 121v1 ab und schliesst daJurch seinen Kontakt 90u. Für das Relais H ent steht nun folgend-er iStromkreis;

Telephone system with different tariffs. Different tariffs are often used in telephone systems. So , for example, lower fees are charged for connections at night than for connections during the day and especially during the main opening hours. The present invention relates in particular to systems in which connections of various values can be established and in which connection points equipped with self-loading devices are present.
Its purpose is to meet the demands arising from the various tax rates from operation in these systems in the most professional and practical manner. In order to achieve this, the respective tariff (for example day and night tariff) characterizing switching devices act on the value of self-debits of the self-debiting devices in such a way that these establishments in a way corresponding to the respective tariff through self-loading processes,
Switching measures initiated at the intercom can be controlled.
The switching devices determining the tariff changes can simultaneously control tariff indicators on the intercom stations and also switching devices in the switching centers, wc, 1- before influencing registration devices to determine all total loads on a connection point.
The drawings show a schematic diagram of an exemplary embodiment of a telephone system according to the invention.
In Fig. 1, the parts of a coin-operated telephone MF are shown at the top right, insofar as they are important for explaining the subject matter of the invention. The office part _AT which is individually assigned to the coin-operated telephone is connected to the two voice cores a, b going out from the payphone.
The connections are made via a preselector VW shown on the right in the drawing and further number-from-shock receivers not shown.
Furthermore, a switching device GZE with a selector device with six switching arms is shown on the left in FIG. 1, which is referred to in the description as money and time adjusters or money adjusters for short. A device ZPR (FIG. 2), which is designated as a zone tester in the description and to which in turn (see left-hand part of FIG. 2) one in the description as Counter rate ZS designated facility is connected.
The pay-in magnet EH, the return magnet RN, a contact 2g10 actuated by thrown 10-pfennig pieces, a contact 1g50 actuated by thrown 50-pfennig pieces are shown of the coin-operated telephone station itself , an indicator light, Ivanoskop SG and the hook switch HU, which is connected to earth in the idle state. The two wires from the coin speaker a,

At one end of the fork, the Aint battery is connected via relays An., Contacts, 3an, 4bes and 5ab, while at the other end ± the C cable is connected to earth via the closed hook switch.
It thus distorts a current flow from earth, battery, contacts äab, 4bes, closed contact 3an, winding of the relay -An, branch point y, Wiak- lun-I and via contact 6n, winding II of the relay G50, contacts 15e, 12t, b # wire, contact 1_a50, cashier magnet E31, winding part I of the iSchauzeichengalvanoskopes SG,
and parallel to it from branch point y via winding I of the relay GIO, contacts 8r, 10t, a-wire, contact 2g10, reverse gwboma, gnet BM, winding part II of the flagship galvanoscope SG, </ B> branch point x, hook switch HU, earth.
- The contacts # 6n resp. 7n are under the influence of a relay N, that if lower tariffs are provided. For example, a daily and a night tariff, the applicable tariff identifies what is caused by switching processes, Jie, are described below. The relay N is controlled by a clock UH in such a way that it is, for example, from 19 o'clock to 8 > Clock is excited.
Each of the two cash pulse relays G50 and GIO has two winding terminals I and II. Both the windings I of both relays and their windings II have the same resistance.
One of the windings II of these two relays is now switched in parallel to winding I of the relevant relay in the morning 8 and in the evening 19 so that, for example, rolling - the time of day due to -the parallel connection of the two windings of relay G50 -at contact -6n the a-wire I! is flowed through by an iStrom greater strength than the
b-core. During the night, when the relay N is energized and the contact 7n is closed, the inverse ratio of the partial currents in the two wires is set.
The consequence of the different strong currents in the two wires is that the visual galvanoscope is influenced in such a way that it moves a pointer by a certain amount from a central position that the pointer would assume, -if the. Partial currents in 'both cores would be the same size, deflects.
The direction of deflection is accordingly opposite during nighttime to that during daytime. In this way, the tariff, night or day tariff, which is valid at the time of the call, is displayed to a speaker.
In the current flow described above, which exists when the system is in the idle state, the return magnet and the collection magnet, even if they are loaded by the larger idle current as explained above, do not receive so much current that:
they can be actuated.- The actuation of these two magnets is carried out by increasing the current either on wire a or b. The current is increased when. Instead of relay G10 or G50 in one of the two wires the low-resistance relay P is switched on.
This can be done, as will be explained later, by closing the contact 9r, which increases the current flow via the a-wire and thus excites the return magnet RM, or by closing the contact 14e, where the 1, which increases the flow of current via the Yb wire and causes the collection magnet EN to be excited.
Only the relays An, GIO and G50 respond in the mentioned circuit during the idle state of the system and thus of the coin-operated telephone NF and keep their contacts in the working position, o ,.
There is the possibility of making local connections as well as long-distance connections through the pay phone shown. Since the facility is also intended to establish relatively high-quality connections (connections can be established according to the example for which the speaking guest has to pay RM. 1.20 according to the daily rate), the ruling is made so that the person to be paid The amount can be paid in 10-pfennig pieces, in 50-pfennig pieces or at the same time with both types of coin.
The coins, which can also be inserted in any order, are checked for authenticity and suitability by a control device before they are picked up by the payphone, a measure which is of no importance for the explanation of the present invention and therefore not further, - is described.
The coins are guided on different tracks depending on their type, so that contact 1g50 is temporarily opened after inserting a 50-pfennig piece and contact 2g10 if a 10-pfennig piece is inserted.
It should also be noted that the two contacts Igj50 and 2g10 are not under the influence of the relays GIO and G50, but are purely mechanical contacts, which are only used when a coin is inserted or when it is closed Hook switch contact, Idas, must be operated before the handset is removed from the hook and has to be operated.
Let us now first describe the establishment of a local connection, for which a fee of 10 Pfennigs is to be paid both during the day and at night. The participant throws the 10-pfennig piece into the money slot without lifting the receiver from the hook switch. As already mentioned, the coin is checked by a coin validator.
After this process, it passes through the receiving channel and briefly opens the contact 2g10. This temporarily interrupts the flow of current in the a-branch and thus causes the relay GIO to drop for a short time.
In the money and time adjuster GZE, the contact 16g10 is therefore closed, so that the rotary magnet D10 receives a current surge in the following way: battery, earth, three-wire magnet DIO, contacts 16g10, 17g50 (the relay G50 remains energized because.
the b-core was not interrupted by throwing in the 10-pfennig piece), contacts 20p, 522an, (the relay is on, there .der Hakenumschalfer HU has not yet been operated, still energized), earth. The rotary magnet DIO of the time and money adjuster GZE switches the switching arms 1-6 shown on the left in Fig. 1 forward by one step.
Since, in the case of a local connection, there is no further payment of coins, the magnet DIO is not influenced any further, so that its shutter arms remain on contact 1 .
If the subscriber now lifts the receiver and thereby switches the earth off the hook switch Htt, the current flowing over the fork is interrupted and, among other things, the relay An is brought to drop . As a result, the contact 21 is closed and thus to the contact 1 of the iSchaltarm. 2 applied contact bank earth:
Earth, contacts 2,1, an, 2,3f,; 2 # än, 28d2, 30d1, Switching arm 2 of the money and time adjuster GZE, contact 1. The coutak leather from the control arms 1-6 powered Küntakt benches are on "zone sliders and 1 corresponding to new" 1-6 </ B> an -eschl - - c
r, the 'fee distribution and the zone wired. So applies. For example, the money rail 1 for local connections, for which 10 Pfennigs - are to be paid, * the #Schiene 2 for connections to the first remote zone, for which a daily fee of 30 pfennigs and a Naolit fee of 20 pfennigs are charged, etc.
The time and money setter is also set to the corresponding tariff, day or night tariff. -. For a one-person connection, the daily tariff (as assumed for this example) is .the contact: 2.5n closed, while the 2.6n contact is closed during the period during which the night tariff applies. Also, these contacts are under the influence of the relay N .. controlled by a clock
When the relay-on drops, the contact sslan continues to be closed and the circuit for the torque magnet Dvw of the preselector VW is closed:
.Earth, contacts 31an, 33t, 35bes, 86o, rotary magnet Dvw, battery, earth. The torque magnet Dvw works with the relay 0 as an interrupter in such a way that when the magnet Dvzv is first energized, the contact 37dv is closed and thus a circuit for the relay 0 </ B > is established - earth, contact 37dv, winding of the relay 0,
Battery, earth. At the contact 36o, the circuit just described for the magnet is opened, so that the circuit for the relay at the contact 37 is opened again. The rotary magnet Dvw is again excited via the contact 36o, which closes again, etc. This game continues until the switching arms a, b, c of the preselector VW see to a next, free connection device, for example a free I.
Group selector I G W . At the moment when this occurs, the relay T in the preselector VW is excited in the following way:
-Earth -from the next free connection-dunos- device, -A-der e, t switch in c of the pre-C selector VW, contacts 38bes, 39an, windings II and I of relay T, Battery, earth.
Relay T closes its contact 41t, thereby short-circuiting its Ilochohmige winding II and thereby blocks the connection device found against other occupation. The relay Z lying . to the winding I of the relay T cannot yet respond in this parallel in the circuit.
By responding to the relay T, the contacts 10t and 12t are still opened - and because the exchange part AT assigned to the payphone is switched off from this.- By closing the contacts llt and 13t - the payphone is connected to the free connection device found. By opening the contact 33t -is the circuit for the rotary magnet of the preselector Z opened and this shut down.
By closing the contact 32t the following circuit is closed for the second winding of the relay ill: Er-de, contacts 31an, 32t, 42r, winding II of the relay 31, battery, earth. The relay M responds and closes its contacts 45m, 46m, 48m. By activating these contacts, the wires al, m and r, via which a zone tester ZPR can be reached, are switched on.
The apparatus of the zone tester has the following parts: 1. A connection finder VS, a switching mechanism with -the switching arms 1-8 which is assigned the task, moved by the rotary magic Dvs, - to visit the GZE gel and time setter influenced by the Nunz telephone.
2. A moving mechanism MW I, a rotary selector moved by the magnet Dmwl with the switching arms I-IV, of which the two arms II and III are offset by 120 'to the arms I and IV.
3. A follower 311-W II, a selector with two directions of movement and three switching axes I-III, which are lifted by the lifting magnet Hmw2 and rotated by the rotating magnet Dmw2.
By closing the contact 46m the following circuit is closed for the relay 1111 in the zone tester ZPR (Pig. 2): earth, battery, winding I of the relay Bes (which does not respond in this circuit), contacts 49r, 46m, wire m , Contact 50r1, winding of relay 3/11, switching arm IV of the tracking plant MWI in rest position, contacts 51o1, 52h, earth.
Relay MI closes its contacts 53m1, 54, in.1 and 551nl. The following circuit is closed at contact -55m1 for the first winding of the relay G : Earth, contacts 5.5m1, 56dvs, I of relay C11 battery, earth. At the contact 53m1 the windings I and II of the relay Pl are connected to the switching arm 8 of the connection finder VS.
At contact 54m1 a circuit is prepared for the magnet of the connection finder VS, which comes into effect when the relay G responds and takes the following path: Earth, contacts 58pl, 57g, </ B> 54m1, winding of the magnet Dvs, battery, earth. In the circuit mentioned above, the magnet Dvs responds and advances its switch arms 1-8 one step.
The magnet Dvs at the same time opens the circuit of the relay G, at the contact 5,6dvs, which in turn opens the circuit for the Mauneten 9 in <at the contact 57 / B> opens. At contact # 5, 6dv, 9, the over-circuit of the relay G is again established and thus the rotary magnet Dvs is again excited.
This play between the rotary magnet Dvs and the relay G continues until the switching arms 1-8 of the connection finder VS see the money connected to the wires al, m and r - and have set the time setter GZE.
If the switching arms have reached the relevant contact, the following circuit is activated via the switching arm 8 : Earth, movements II and 1 of relay P1, contacts 53m1, 59h, switching arm 8 of the VS connection source, wire r, contacts 48m (Fig. 1), 62bes, 61p, Winding I of relay M, howling I of relay B, battery, earth.
In this circuit, the relays M and B in the money setter GZE and the relay Pl in the zone tester ZPR are reached. The second winding of the relay M is switched off at the contact 42r (Fig. 1). The contacts of this relay remain activated, however, because the relay is now kept energized via its first winding.
By closing contact 43r, the second movement of relay B is switched on and thus the following holding circuit is closed for this relay: Earth, contacts 31an, 32t, 43r, winding II of relay B, winding I of the relay B, battery, earth. In the zone tester ZPB, the relay P1 had been energized in the mentioned circuit running over the switching arm 8 of the connection finder VS.
This relay short-circuits its high-resistance winding I at contact 64pl and thereby blocks the money and time setter GZE from being opened by other connection seekers. The circuit for the rotary magnet Dvs is opened at contact 58pl and the connection switch is thereby stopped.
By closing contact 65pl, the following circuit is created for relay RI: earth, contact 6 # äpl, winding of relay B1, battery, earth. At the contact 6Gpl the following circuit is closed for the delay relay VI: earth, battery, winding of relay VI, contact 66pl, switching arm IV, the follower MW I in rest position, contacts 51al, 52h, earth.
Furthermore, the relay Pl. Also opens the contact 67pl and closes the contact 68pl. Here you go. this prepares the excitation of the relay A , which is excited a short time after contact 69v1 is closed in the following circuit:
Earth, battery, winding of relay A, contacts -69v1, 68pl, holding arm 7 of the connecting switch VS, wire al, contact 45m (Fig. 1), wire b, contact 1g50, winding of the cashier magnet Eilll, indicator, -alvanoskop SG, winding of the back, ola, bemac-netes BM, contact 2g10, wire a, resistance Wi, contact 70m, earth.
This circuit extends over the pay phone station. The relay A is in this way under the influence of a current surge (not shown) # deeinrielltun-,
of the calling subscriber and is at the same time influenced by number pulses with your - power surge reception relay on your preselection of ordered surge receiver. The relay Bl in the zone tester ZPR, which - as stated above, "was energized ZD when the contact 65pl was closed,
opens its contact 50r1 and there with the circuit running over the wire m for the relay Hl. This circuit is also separated by opening the contact 49r in the money adjuster GZE.
The relay NI in the zone tester ZPR therefore drops out and interrupts the current circuit for winding I of relay G. at contact 55m1. Relay VI opens at < B> ' its excitation the contact 71v1 and closes the contact 72v1, where the following circuit is closed for the relay V2: earth, battery, winding of the relay V2, contacts 72v1, 74a, 75f -1, 78r1, earth.
The relay -V2 opens its contact 80v2 and closes its contact 79v2 and thereby brings the rotary magnet Dmzvl'.of the follow-up mechanism MW I under the influence of the surge contact of the relay A.
By: The first surge warning sent by the calling subscriber is: Z eD indicates whether The desired connection is a local or a long-distance connection.
For the present example it is assumed that when establishing local connections, a number between the numbers 2--8 must be selected as the first digit. The contact bank covered by the switching arm I of the co-running mechanism MW I is therefore designed in such a way that the contacts 2-8 are wired to one another and relays -01 which identify the local connections are led. It is assumed that the first series of electrical surges sent by the calling subscriber consists of five current surges.
The relay A in the zone tester ZPR is influenced in accordance with the interruptions caused by the impulse end-of-life initiation on the main telephone. Every time the relay A drops out, a circuit is closed for the magnet Dmivl of the follow-up mechanism illW- I: earth, battery, winding of the torque magnet Dmwl, contacts 79v2, 73a , 75fl, 7,8r1, earth.
This circuit is closed and opened again five times during the transmission of the five number current pulses by the calling subscriber. The rotary magnet Dmwl therefore switches the switching arms I-IV of the follow-up mechanism MW I by five steps forward.
The co-running mechanism MW I is formed so that the switching arms II and III are offset by an angle of 120 relative to the switching arms I and IV. The switching arms II and III are therefore used when setting the A switching process not carried out due to five number current pulses.
After the end of the series of current impulses, the relay Vl, - that, as soon as the tracking drive. MW I has left the rest position with its switching arms after the first pulse that takes effect on the Ma.- neten Dmwl, see via contacts # 81a, 82v2 and 65pl holds and, since it is designed as a delay relay,
- during the short current interruptions at contact 81a keeps his contacts in working position, brought to waste.
When contact 72v1 is opened, the circuit for relay V9 is interrupted, which however, thanks to its design as a delay relay, lasts for a short time.
During the duration of this fall time, the following circuit is closed for the winding I of the relay 01 : Earth, battery, contacts 88v1, 85v2, 8.6fl, switching arm I of the follow-up mechanism MW I, contact < B> 5 of the contact bank I marked by him, weight I of the relay 01, earth. The relay 01 closes for the following holding circuit. Earth, contacts 88r1, 87o1, winding II of the relay 01, battery, earth.
By closing the contact. 89al the following circuit is closed for the first switching of the relay G : earth, battery, winding I of the relay G, contact 89o1, 8 busbar 11, </ B> which is connected to the contact 89al, shaft arm 1 of the connection finder YS, zone rail 1, contact 1, on which the money and Time setter GZE has been set, Selialtarm 2 of the money and time setter GZE, contacts 30d1., 28d2, 2,5n, -23f,
21an, earth. By. When contact 91o1 is closed, the following circuit is closed for relay H: earth, battery, winding of relay H, contacts 90u, 9, lal, 78r1, earth. The relay G is therefore placed in the following holding circuit: Earth, contacts 93h, 92g, Wichlung I ', of the relay G, battery, Earth.
The relay G checks in this way whether the inserted amount corresponds to the charge for the connection that the subscriber wishes to establish. The response of the relays G is thus the indicator for a correct payment made for the desired connection.
The contact  94g  is opened and thereby. the creation of an exciter circuit running over the contact 6'Oh for the weighing II of the relay bes in the money and time setter GZE, a process which will be explained in detail later, prevents.  -  As soon as now the relay  G  has checked the correctness of the payment, ü;
t fulfills the task of the zone auditor ZPR, so that there is no longer anything in the We-e to shut it down and make it available for other connections. The zone tester is triggered in the following way: Through. the above-mentioned excitation of the relay H, the contact 59h is opened and the contact 60h is closed.
As a result, the previously mentioned circuit in which the relays P1 in the zone tester ZPR and 31 and _R in the money inserter GZE were energized is opened via the switching arm 8 of the connection finder VS ver. The relay B in the money setter, however, remains energized via its contact 43r. In the zone tester ZPR, the relay Pl drops out. Ani contact 65pl the circuit for the relay BI is interrupted.
This drops out and opens the holding circuit for relay 01 at contact 88r1. When it drops, relay 01 at contact 91ol disconnects the circuit of relay E, which is delayed in the drop-out on which a short time falls off. At contact 93h, the holding circuit for winding I of relay G is opened. Once these devices have reached their normal position, the relay A: Earth, battery, winding of the relay A, contacts 95t> 2, </ B> 96v1, 94di) zwl, switching arm IV of the follow-up mechanism illW I in working position, contacts 51o1, 29h, earth. By.
Closing the contact 74a, the home circuit for the magnet Dmwl is closed, namely in the following way: Earth, battery, winding of the magnetW (Dmwl ' contacts 80v2, 71v1, -74a, 75fl, 97k , 77r1, earth. D the magnet separates the above-listed circuit for relay A at its contact 94dmiol, which accordingly opens its contact 74a and the '# Circuit for the rotary magnet opens.
At contact 94dmivl, the circuit for relay A is closed again, so that rotary magnet Dmwl receives a new pulse. This game between the rotating magnet Dmwl and the relay A is repeated until the switching arm IV of the follower mechanism MTV I has expired from its return segment and has reached the break contact. In this position . , the relay A can no longer respond.
The zone tester ZPli has thus been brought back to its rest position.
In the GZE money and time setting, relay M had dropped out. By opening the contacts 48m, 46m and 45m, the lines al, Es m and let r leading to the zone tester ZPR are switched off. accepted,
' that the calling subscriber has established the connection to the desired subscriber by sending further series of numbered bursts and thereby setting not shown, your preselector VW associated connection devices. ' If the ge if the subscriber wants to report, an incentive, the counting stimulus, is transmitted via the c-wire, in such a way that
that -by current amplification on the c-wire, relay Z (Wieldung 1) , which is parallel to winding I of relay T, responds. The relay Z closes its contact 100, -, whereby the following circuit is closed for the second weighing of the relay E : earth, contacts 99r, 100z, 101f , second winding of relay E, local call counter ZO, battery, earth.
The counter ZO is designed so that it only responds when the winding II of the relay E is energized in series with it, but not when. also, which does not happen in this case, the winding I of this relay is switched on. The counter ZO is thus switched on every time a local connection is established, so that it records the total number of all local connections made by the payphone .NF. The relay E - independently of the relay Z - is placed in a holding circuit running via the contacts 99r and 102e.
A hold circuit is also closed for relay Z - earth, contacts 1003m, 104z, 105e, 106t, relay Z (winding II), battery, earth. The relay E opens its contacts 108e and 15e and closes its contact 14e. The addressing of the relay E is the indicator that the calling subscriber has received the connection to the desired subscriber and the cashing of the inserted amount can take place, which at the end of the call when the calling subscriber has Hooks up the phone, happens.
If the conversation is ended and when the caller hangs up the handset, the hook switch HU Earth is switched on, so the length of the loop, which is not shown here and is not of further interest, is triggered Connection initiated and the relay T excited via the c-core brought to waste.
By opening the contacts llt and 13t, the preselector VW is switched off from the lines a and b leading to the coin-operated telephone MF.
By closing the contact 12t, the following circuit is created: Earth, battery, contact äab, winding of relay P, contacts 14e, 12t, wire b, contact 1g50, winding of the cashier magnet EX, Winding part I of the indicator galvanoscope SG, Junction point x, hook holder HU, earth.
Since, as already mentioned, the relay P has a low resistance, the current flow via the b-wire to the NF coin-operated telephone is so strong that the - cash-in magnet EN hits through. The amount thrown in (the 10-pfennig piece in the example) is collected and the coins fill the cash box.
The precedence of the collection is secured by the relay B , which, although its hold circuit at contact 32t has been opened, thanks to its design as a delay relay, the circuit for the relay E </ B> at contact 99r long enough to safely complete the cash register process, no.
In the circuit mentioned above, the relay P ere ##, t. It closes the contact 109p. At the moment when the relay B drops out, the relay is connected to the relay An and the first winding of the relay <B. Via contacts 5ab, 109p, > G10 is applied and a circuit is formed for these relays, which continues via the contacts 8r, 10t, wire a, contact 2g10, winding of the return magnet BM, winding part H of the display z, eielienga, Iva,
noskopes SG, junction X, Ha, kenumschalter HU runs to earth. The relays An and GIO respond in this circuit and close their contacts. If the holding circuit of the relay E at the contact 99r is interrupted, the contacts läe with simultaneous disconnection of the winding,
of the relay P, the windings I and II of the relay G50 parallel to the winding I of the relay GIO t3 and so after the relay P has dropped out and the contact 109p has opened, the contact 3 is closed is, the original state,
in which a Rule current flows via contacts 5ab, 4bes, 3an, the relays An, GIO, G50 etc., is restored.
If the connection just described is established during the time during which the relay N has been energized, d. h. So, at the time of the night tariff from 19 o'clock 'to 8 o'clock, contact 25n is open and contact 26n is closed.
The relay G in the zone tester ZPR, which checks that the payment has been made correctly, is now via the zone rail 1, contact 1, switch unit 5 of the money seller GZE, contacts 177d1, 176d2, 26n, 2,3f, 21an, earth energized. In this case, there is no switching process via the switching axis 2 . Otherwise the processes correspond to those already described.
The establishment of higher-quality connections will now be described, such long-distance connections for which depending according to the zone in which the call is being made, a fee of 30 40, 70, 90 and 120 pfennigs during the day and 20, 30, 50, 60 and 80 pfennigs during the night in credit will. It is assumed that the subscriber wants to establish a connection to the 3rd remote zone, i.e. a connection for which a fee of 70 pennies on the day, at night of 50 Pfennigs is credited. This zone corresponds to -the .
"Zone rail" 4 in the cash dispenser. As mentioned at the beginning of the description, the arrangement is such that the fee can be paid both in units of 10 pennies and in units of 50 pennies and 10 pennies at the same time. It is initially assumed that the subscriber wants to set up a daily connection and puts seven individual 10-pfennig pieces into the coin slot of the coin-operated telephone MP.
As already described, when the individual 10 pieces of Pfenuig are thrown in, the contact 2g10 is briefly opened and thus each time you relay G10 is brought to waste. The magnet D10 receives current impulses: Earth, contacts 22an, 20p, 17g50, 16g10 (this contact generates the number of coins inserted, the pulses for the magnet < B> D10), Magnet DIO, battery, earth. In the present case, the magnet D10 receives seven current surges and places its switching arms 1-6 on the 7th contact.
If the participant now picks up the receiver after inserting the coins and thus, as was described for local calls, brings, among other things, Jas Relay An to the waste - , contacts 21an, 2'3f, 2.5n, 28d2 # 30d1, Switching arm 2 of the money adjuster GZE, contact 7 of the contact bank it has painted, earth to the one for the 3. < / B> Far zone characteristic "7jonenschiene" 4 applied.
In the manner already described, the connection searcher VS belonging to the zone tester ZPR is started, which searches (via switching arm 8) for the money counter GZE that has come into effect.
For the present example it is assumed that every long-distance connection must be initiated by sending the code 0 . The zLni current impulses that are to be emitted, in addition to the connection devices downstream of the VTV, provide the tracking mechanism MW I im in the manner described
Zone tester ZPR on. After the first series of current impulses, the Schalfarin I of this follow-up mechanism is on contact 10. Since there are no Selialtwerke connected to this contact in Aucenblick, Jen Arm - </ B > I and this contact no switching process. conditions.
The switching arms II and III, which are offset by - 120 ' compared to the switch arm I, follow the first pulse series consisting of ten pulses on contacts 0. - Since the relay 01 was not energized in the geographic set of the previous example, the triggering of the zone tester ZPR is also prevented for the time being.
The second series of current impulses, which may consist of seven current impulses, is accordingly also transmitted to the magnet Dmwl of the follow-up mechanism MW 1 . It should be remembered that the circuit for the magnet Dmwl is as follows: earth, battery, magnet Dni, wl, contacts 79v2, 73a, 75fl, -78r1, earth.
The switching axles II and III of the follow-up mechanism MW 1 are brought to the 7th contact.
While this Ssshaltwerk # s MW I and contact 7 the .Schaltarm II of the follow-up mechanism MWII Eva-, Ole is held via switch arm II, comes -over switch unit III of the follow-up mechanism MWI and contact 7 </ B > 'Short time after the 2nd
Impulse series and closing of the contact 110vl the following circuit for the relay FI to stand: earth, contacts 88r1, 110v1, switching arm HI of the follower MW I, contact 7, winding of the relay F1, battery, < B> ' Earth. At contact 63f1 the relay Fl closes for a holding circuit.
By opening the contact 75f1 the surge circuit for the rotary magnet Dmwl is interrupted and by closing the contact 7 6f 1 the Mibma, gnet Hnzw2 of the switching mechanism MW II is switched on. At the same time, by opening the contact 86f1 , the second winding of the relay G is freed from its] short circuit.
When the contact 113f1 eut- is closed, the relay V2 stands for the following circuit: earth, contacts 78r1, 113fl, how the relay V9-, battery, earth.
When sending out the next, i.e. the third burst of current impulses, the Hubmaunet Hmw2 of the switching mechanism M, WII is excited in the following - your way through the number bursts medium to the relay _A : earth, battery, lifting magnet Hmw2 of the MW II switchgear, contacts 113h, 114u, 115a, 7 # 6! 1, 78r1, earth.
The switchgear-31W-II works like a line selector -and - is set by a lifting and rotating movement. After the end of the series of current impulses and the dropout of the delay relay Vl, whose circuit now remains open at contact 81a for a longer time, the following circuit is established for the relay U:
Earth, battery, winding of relay U, contact 116k, contacts 118to, 119a, 120v1, 1123h, earth ...
The relay T-T closes its contact 124u and prepares a hold circuit for this contact. This comes into effect when, when the next, that is, the fourth series of current impulses is transmitted and the contact 81a is closed, the relay VI is again excited. At contact 12.5u, the 11-Lib magnet in ± the rotary magnet of the MW II switching mechanism is held in place.
The now felgendt, fourth Stromsthssreili.e - 'influences- now the rotary magnet Dmw2 in the following way: earth, battery, rotary magnet Dmu, 2, contacts 126h, 125u, 11,9ja, 76fl, 78r1, earth. The switching arms I-III of the follow-up mechanism MTV II are therefore set to a specific contact in a specific decade.
If now, after the end of the 4th series of impulses, the relay VI drops out again and the contact 83v1 is closed, the following circuit is closed for the weight II of the relay G :
Earth, battery, contacts 839) 1, 85v2, -from short-circuit winding II, of relay G, switching arm II of the follow-up mechanism MW I, contact 7, switching arm H of the co-running mechanism MW II, contact x, to which the switching arm II! may be set by the third and fourth series of impulses, collective bar 44, switching arm 4 of the connection, viewfinder VS,
"Zone rail" 4, contact 7 (Fig. 1), switching arm 2 of the cash adjuster GZE, contacts 30d1, 28d2, 25n, 23f, Man, earth.
The --Relay  G  responds in this electric circuit, whereby the correctness of the payment is identified as before. - The initiation of the triggering of the zone tester ZPR takes place again through relay H. The relay U, the is designed as a delay relay, drops out a short time after contact 121v1 is opened and thereby closes its contact 90u. The following electrical circuit now arises for relay H;
Earth, battery, winding of relay H, contact 90u, contact 128w, earth, closed at the first turning step of the tracking mechanism MW II. For the relay G there is in turn an adhesive circuit via winding I: Earth, battery, winding I of relay G, contacts 92g, 93h., </ B > Earth.
The relay G opens its contact 94g and prevents that after the relay H has responded and its contact 60h is closed, a stop process via the switching arm < B> 8 of the connection finder VS, namely the excitation of the relay Bes on the money adjuster, comes about. If, during the establishment, a connection of this Rdlais Bes is not made to respond, the connection .. --une- can be prevented from establishing the connection.
The relay H initiates the triggering of the zone tester ZPR in exactly the same way as before and initiates the return of the shared drives illWI and illWII. It should also be noted that when the relay FI responded, the contact Illfl was opened and the contact 112f1 was closed.
As a result, when the contact 67pl is closed on the switching arm 7 of the connection detector VS, earth is applied, which becomes effective in the following circuit: earth, contacts 112fl, 67pl, switch arm 7 of the connection selector VS, Ad-er al, contact 44m (Fig. 1) of the relay 3/1 in the money adjuster GZE, winding I des Relay F, battery, earth.
In this circuit, the relay F in the money adjuster responds and closes a hold circuit for itself at the contact 129f : earth, contacts 31an, 32t, 129f, windings II and I of relay F , Battery, earth. The relay F opens its contact 10.1f, thereby switching off the * second winding of the relay E and making its contact 102f, thereby preparing a circuit for the Tliermo relay Thf.
Viennan now after establishing the connection and reporting the desired participant via the switch arm c of the preselector VW again the counting stimulus is given and here the relay Z is energized, the following circuit is closed for the thermal relay Tlif: earth, contacts 9: 9r, 100z,102f, 13le, winding, of the thermal relay Thf, battery, earth.
The thermal relay Thf is designed in such a way that it does not actuate its contact 132thf until after about 15 seconds. This has the effect that the energization of the relay E and the decision about the collection of the inserted money is delayed by about 15 seconds.
During this time after the called subscriber has answered, the subscribers can speak without the caller giving the final signal during this time. A hang of the handset is given, a cashing of the inserted coins he follows.
If, for example, the calling subscriber discovers within this time, the so-called waiting period, that the subscriber who answers is not the one he wants, he hangs his receiver in and closes the contact on the hook switch HU. In a known manner, this causes the relay T of the preselector VTT 'to drop, so that a current flow arises over the wire a leading to the payphone, which
since the low-resistance relay P is now switched on via contact 9r, it is so strong that the return magnet RAI durchzielit its anchor and dadurel-1 conveys the amount of money thrown into the return tray.
This current flow runs as follows: Earth, battery, contact äab, winding of relay P, contacts 108e, 9r, 10t, wire a, Koutakt 2g10, return magnet Bill, winding part II of the Seliauzeichenga, Ivanoskopes SG, Junction point x, Hakenumsch # Iter HU, Earth.
If the calling subscriber is now properly connected, after the waiting period has expired, i.e. after about 15 seconds; the contact 132tibf is closed, and the following circuit is created for the relay E : earth, contact 132thf, windings I and II of relay E, local call counter ZO (the one, since both The windings of the relay E are connected in series with it, in this circuit it is not excited), battery, earth.
The relay E closes a holding circuit for itself at contact 102e and, by closing the contact 14e, prepares the circuit for the cashier magnet EN </ B after the final character has been given by the calling subscriber > before.
At contact 13le, the TUermorelais Tlif is switched off, while a circuit leading to the counting set (FIG. 2) is closed by closing the contact 130e.
The counting set denoted by ZS in the drawing is a control device which is jointly assigned to a plurality of coin operated telephones and through which two counters ZF and KZ are incremented. KZ is a control counter that records the value of the long-distance connections that are made by all the payphones to which the counting rate is commonly assigned.
The counter ZF is the telephone number individually assigned to each payphone, which is incremented for every long-distance call by the number of 10 Pfennic units that are to be paid each time for a call.
Since a local connection counter ZO (Fig. 1) is now also arranged for each payphone, it is possible to determine the amount contained in the money box of a payphone with the help of these facilities and thus make a slip the substitution respectively. to be determined when emptying the cash boxes.
The circuit indicated above runs: earth, contacts 9,9r, 100z, 102f, 130e, line ZK1 leading to counting set ZS (Fig. 2), resistor Wil in counting set # ZS, contacts 133ds, 1341, < / I> 135s, 'winding of relay T5T1, parallel to it resistance Wi9-, which is greater than the resistance of relay Ul, battery, earth. In this circuit, the relay Ul responds.
The following circuit is closed for the magnet Ds of the counter finder at the contact 136ul: earth, contact 1,3,6ul, winding of the rotary magnet Ds, battery, earth. The switching arms, 1-8 of the count finder are thus brought to the first contact.
At the same time, the circuit for the relay Ul is interrupted at contact 133ds, so that contact 13.6u1 and thus the circuit just described for the magnet Ds is opened. As a result, the contact 133ds is closed again, the relay U1 is again energized and the circuit for the magnet Ds is restored.
This alternation between the rotary magnet Ds and your relay Ul continues until the switching arms of the counter have reached the contact marked by the earth on the connection line, ZK1.
The relay S is energized via the line ZKI, switching arm 7 of the count seeker, # the -aim contact 13äs finally interrupts the circuit for the relay Ul and thus stops the count seeker. By closing the contact 137s, another relay Nl, which can be excited during the period of validity of the night tariff, is switched on, which by this switching process in the time from 1.9 to 8 o'clock,
when the pointer controlled by a UH1 clockwork is on the segment, is excited. If a connection is established during the night, contact 1392il is opened and contact 140n1 is closed.
It takes place by switching off the switching arm 2 0 of the Aboreiferz ABW which takes effect during the taves time and switching on the switching arm 3. In the case at hand but the connection is established according to the daily tariff, thus the contact 139n1 is closed. By closing the contact 138s the following circuit is closed for the relay F2:
Earth, contact 138s, winding of Rehiis F2, resistor Wi3, battery, earth. The relay F2 sees its contact 141f2 and thus a circuit for the incremental magnet Da of the gripper ARW. The switching arms 1--4 of the gripper are thus switched to the first contact.
At the same time, the contact 144da controlled by the magnet Da is closed, whereby the relay F2 is short-circuited and shortly afterwards caused to waste . The contact 141f2 in the excitation circuit of the magnet Da is opened, so that the contact 144da is opened again. The relay F2 responds again and again closes its contact 141f2, thereby causing the switching magnet Da to move its scraper arms to the next contact.
The play between the rotary magnet Da and the relay F2 continues until the switching arm 2 of the tap AB1V comes into contact with the grounded "zone rail" via one of the arms of the counting set ZS.
According to the assumed example (' switching arm 2 of the gel, del * _ustellers GZE in connection with "zone rail" 4), if the switching arm 2 of the tap makes the contact on which the switching arm 3 of the counting set ZS is connected to which in this case the earthed "zone rail" 4 is located, the following circuit is formed for the relay P2:
Earth, winding of relay P2, contact 139n1, switching arm 2 of the tap ABW, switching arm 3 of the counting set ZS, zone rail 4, switching arm 2 of the cash adjuster GZE and further, as described above, to earth. Relay P2 closes contact 142p2 when it responds, which creates the following circuit for relay T1: earth, battery, winding of relay TI, contact 14,2p2, switching arm. 1 of the pick-up _ABW in Working position, earth. Relay T1 closes a hold circuit at contact 143t1 independently of relay P2.
The contact 145t1 in the wire running over the switching arm 6 of the counting set ZS is closed, in which wire the two counters ZF (individually assigned to each payphone) and KZ (common to a plurality of payphones) are located. Every time when the contact 144da #, is closed when the rotary mao, netes Since the contact is closed and the relay F2 drops out after a short time, the circuit for the two counters is set at contact 146f2 closed.
The AbgTeifer ABW, which is switched on until it has reached its rest position, advances the two counters by one unit with each step. The wiring of the contact banks marked by the switching arms 2 and 3 is carried out in such a way that after energizing the relay P2, the number of wires still to be passed through up to the idle number of contacts thrown in by the calling subscriber 10 pfennig units.
When the tap has reached its last contact, earth is applied to the switching arm 8 of the counting set and thus to the wire ZK2 via switching arm 4 of the tap and contact 147t1. The meaning of this switching measure is described in detail below.
Before it should be mentioned that when the switching arm 1 of the gripper runs away from its contact segment and reaches the rest position, the holding circuit for the relay T1 is opened so that the contacts 143t1, 145t1 and 147t1 to be opened.
In any arbitrary way, the 23 earth potential applied to the A. der ZKI is switched off, ZD so that the relay 8 also drops out and brings its contacts to the rest position.
The counting rate ZS has then reached its zero setting and is ready for further use, which, as just mentioned, is connected to the ZK2 wire for a short time via switching arm 4 of the subscription, mature ABW and safety arm 8 of the counting set ZS causes the excitation In of the relay D2 in the money adjuster GZE: earth, wire ZK2, contact 148d2, winding 1 of relay D2, battery, earth.
The relay D2 sets see immediately via its contact 149d2, winding II of the relay D2, contacts 150in-, 152f, respectively. 153p, Earth in a holding circle. The relay D2 closes its contact 154d2 and thus for the magnet D10 of the money adjuster the following circuit - earth, contacts 154d2, 156o, 15 # 9d1 ,. Winding III of relay B, magnet D10, battery, earth.
The DIO magnet closes its contact 157d10 when . is excited, whereby the following circuit is closed for the relay 0 : Earth, contacts 154d2, 157d10, </ B> winding of relay 0, battery, earth. At the contact. 156o the circuit just created for the magnet D10 is interrupted, the relay 0 on contact 157d10 is switched off again and the contact l'56o and thus the circuit for the magnet DIO again, that's closed.
The game between the magnet D10 and the relay 0 continues until the arm arms of the money adjuster GZE have reached their rest position. If this has been done, the following circuit for the relay Dl is established via switch arm 1 : Earth, contacts 154d2, NUN, switch arm 1 in normal position, contact 172f, winding I des relay Di, battery, earth.
The E, ' elais DI is immediately over its contact 1-67d1, Wichlung II of the relay DI, contacts 150m, 152f resp. 153p, Er.de, -. I-n a holding circle,
- The circuit of the - magnet D10 is opened by opening the contact 159d1 c. By closing the contact 158d1 -the Selialtmagnet- D10 is brought under the influence of a 10-second switch 810 , which is set at intervals of 10 </ B > Seconds each time a current pulse is transmitted to the DIO magnet,
whereby each time the contact arms 1-6 of the money adjuster are scrolled one step further. This circuit is as follows: earth, 10-second switch, contacts 168t, 169e, 161p, '1,58d1, winding III of relay B, magnet D10, battery, earth.
After this control process has been completed, the money setter is used, after he has participated in the determination of the correct fee payment, for another purpose, namely as a timer for time counting and for the compulsory disconnection of the connection after a certain time, for example after 3 minutes.
If, under the influence of the 10-second switch, the money setter GZE has switched his arms 1-6 to the 17th contact, sa is, i.e. after 170 seconds, the following circuit closed: earth, contacts 154d2, - 157d10, Solial arm 1 of the money adjuster GZE, contacts 17, 1162p, < / B> Winding II of the relay Down, battery, earth.
In this circuit, the relay Ab responds and switches the busy sum- iner BS at contact 17-2ab to the wires a and b- leading to the payphone and thus gives the speaking subscriber the signal that the talk time is almost up.
If the participants do not signal this warning signal, if the switchboard 1 on the'18. Contact has been made, i.e. after three minutes, the following circuit for the relay Bes is closed: Earth, contacts 154d2, 157d10, Selialtarin 1 of the money adjuster GZE, last contact of the unmarked contact bank, contact 1 -70d1, Wicklang III of relay Bes, battery, earth.
The relay Bes closes for -sicTi'am contact 63bes a holding circuit running via the contact 61p, winding, 1 of the relay M, winding I of the relay 19 after the battery -ve-r-, which, if the relay P. is energized during the checkout process, at the contact -61p is opened.
By opening up, of contact. -38bes the cA-der in the preselector VW is interrupted "thereby the character n is given to trigger the connection lines and the relay T is used for waste. By opening the contact 3.2t the holding circuit for the two windings I and II of the Relay F and relay B separated.
- The collection of the coins and the transfer of the facilities to the idle state takes place in exactly the same way as was described for the establishment of local connections. It should be mentioned here that at the moment the relay P is closed and energized, the holding circuits for the two relays DI and D2 are interrupted by opening the contact 15.3p and so these relays are used for waste # 2] it will be.
Let us now consider the case that the calling subscriber rejects the fee due for the desired connection not with one, but with two types of coin. It is again assumed that a connection is desired for which a fee of 70 Pfennig is charged, and that the calling subscriber wants to deposit one 50 # pfennig piece and two -10 pfennig pieces.
Regardless of which type of coin they belong to, the coins should be conveyed into one and the same coin slot, the order in which the coins are inserted is arbitrary. It is therefore assumed that - the participant first. Throw in a 10-pfennig piece, then the 50-pfennig piece and finally another 10-pfennig piece.
When the first 10-pfennig piece is thrown in, the magnet DIO is influenced, as has already been described in the context of local connections, which thereby puts its switching axis 1-6 on contact 1 brings. If the 50-pfennio piece is now thrown in, it will, also after checking by the coin tester for suitability and authenticity, be directed to a different path than the 10-pfennio coin.
The contact 1g50 , which is briefly opened during the falling movement of the 50-pfennig piece, lies in this path. This also causes relay G50 to be thrown off for a short time. The relay G50 closes the contact 18g50 when it drops out, which creates the following circuit for the relay DI: Earth, contacts 22an, 2.0p, 18g50, 166d1, winding I of relay Dl, battery, earth.
The relay DI immediately closes a holding circuit for itself via its contact 167d1, which runs to earth via its winding II, contacts 150in, 153p.
By opening the contact 30d1, the switch arm 2 of the Gelcl, adjuster GZE, via the previously described connection of the zone testing process, is switched off and by closing the contact 29d1 the switch arm 3 < / B> of the money adjuster, via which the zone checking process is now running, is switched on.
If the participant throws in the second 10-pfennig piece, then by interrupting the circuit for the relay G10 and closing the - contact 1-6g10, a previously mentioned one becomes Circuit for the rotary solenoid D10 closed. The visual arms 1-6 of the cash dispenser are thus switched from the 1st to the 2nd contact. The contact 2, to which the switching arm 3 is set, is also connected to the zone rail 4, as can be easily seen from the drawing.
The zone check is therefore carried out in exactly the same way as in the case when the speaking guest pays with seven 10-pfennig pieces, the only difference being that the earth required for energizing the relay G in the zone tester - potential now via switching arm. 3 of the money adjuster GZE and the contacts 29d1, 28d, 2, 25n, 23f, </ B> 21an, is applied. The processes in the zone tester and in the counting set ZS are exactly the same.
The relay DI, which in turn has to participate in the time counting, is brought into the rest position in the following way before the start of the time counting. After the relay H in the zone tester ZPR has been energized, the relay Pl is brought to drop-out by opening the contact 59h , which at the contact 65pl the circuit for the relay BI </ B> interrupts. By opening the contact 88r1 the holding circuit of the relay P1 is interrupted, which by opening the contact 11.3il causes the drop in the R (ilais V9).
By closing the - contact 84v2, the earth potential is applied to the switching arm. II of the follow-up mechanism MW I and the switching arm II of the follow-up mechanism MW II created.
This closes a circuit in the money adjuster GZE for the winding II of the relay X, which runs as follows: Earth, contacts 84v2, 86fl, switching arm II of the follower mechanism MW I, contact 7, Sahaltarm II of the follower mechanism MW II, contact x, socket rail 44, switching bay 4 of the connection finder VS, zone rail 4,
Switchboard 3 of the cash adjuster GZE, contacts 29d1, 28d2, 25n, 24f (the relay F was, as described above, from the zone tester energized), Wichlung II of the relay M, battery, earth, the relay M opens its contact 150in and thereby opens the holding circuit of the relay DI, This relay drops out and can now be used for the time counting process that now follows, Let it be now consider the case
that a remote connection is desired for . the one. Amount of RM. 1.20 is payable - . The participant has the opportunity to pay & .esen amounts in three ways: 1. By inserting twelve 10-pfennig pieces.
Each time a 10-penny piece is thrown in, the contact 2g10 is opened, as already described, thus causing the relay GIO to drop for a short time. The DIO magnet receives twelve current surges when the contact 16g10 closes and opens and sets its switchgear to -12. Contact a. The zone bar 6 is connected to the 12th contact of the contact bank coated by the switch arm 2 of the GZE cash dispenser.
The code number for such a connection naturally has an "ancillary" composition, like the remote connection described above. This means that the shared drives AIIW 1 and AIWII in the zone tester ZPR set in a different way.
The zone testing and excitation of the relay G then takes place via the switching arm II of the follow-up mechanism MWI and an arm of the follow-up mechanism MW II, for example in this case arm III, which is then on a contact to which the busbar 66 and furthermore the switching arm 6 of the connecting device and the line rail 6 are connected. The zone testing process is otherwise carried out in the same way as before.
2. By throwing in a 50-pfennig piece and seven 10-pfennig pieces.
If a 50-pfennig piece is thrown in, the magnet D10 is not affected, but the relay DI, as explained above, is made to respond, thereby switching on the switching arm 3 of the cash adjuster GZE and using it to carry out the zone test. By inserting the seven 10-pfennig coins, the rotary solenoid D10 receives seven current surges - and switches its switching arms to the 7th contact.
The contact 7 of the contact bank coated by Scha, Ita, rm 3 is now also connected to the zone rail 6 , so that the zone test in the The same way as when inserting twelve 10-pfennig coins, with the difference that the earth potential for the relay G via contact 29d1 and to the switching arm 3 des Money adjuster is created.
3. By inserting two 50-pfennig pieces and two 10-pfennig pieces.
When the -first 50-pfennig piece was thrown in, the relay DI was activated, as explained above. If a second 50-pfennig piece is thrown in and the contact 18g50 is closed for the second time, the following circuit is 'distorted' for relay D2: earth, contacts 22an, 20p, 18g50, 173d1, 164d2, winding I of relay D2, battery, earth.
Relay D2 immediately closes a holding circuit # that runs through contact 149d2, winding II of relay D27, contacts 150m, -153p, to earth. When relay D2 responds, contact 28d2 is opened, thereby switching arm 3 of the cash adjuster off and through.
Closing the contact 27d2 of the holding arm 4 of the money adjuster is switched on. The gate test is done in this case via the switching arm 4 of the money adjuster. If the two 10-pfennig pieces that are still required are thrown in, the DIO magnet switches its switching arms to the 2nd contact. As is readily apparent from the drawing, the contact 2 of the contact bank marked by the switching arm 4 is also connected to the zone rail, 6 .
The zone test is again carried out in exactly the same way, with the difference that now the earth potential required to respond to the relay G in the zone tester ZPR is via the contacts 21aib, 23f, 25n, -27d2 on switching arm 4 of the cash adjuster, # contact 2 and zone rail 6 .
The relays D1 and D2, which were actuated when the 50-pfennig pieces were thrown in, are then again turned into the by energizing the relay 311 as previously described Waste brought and used to participate in the time counting.
The zone check is carried out, as can now be easily seen, 1. if only 10 pennies are thrown in via switching arm 2, 2. if a 50-1 # fennig turke is thrown in alone or with 10 pennies Penny pieces simultaneously via switching arm 3, 3, when inserting two 50-pfennig pieces alone or with other 10-pfennig pieces simultaneously via switching arm 4.
The switching arms 5 and 6 of the money setter GZE - come into effect during the zone check during the night tariff, i.e. when there is contact 25n is open and the contact 26n is closed. - 1. If only 10 pfennig pieces are thrown in, the zone check is carried out via arm 5 and the earth potential application Via contacts 2 ## ah, 23f, 26n, 176d2, 177d1,
Switching arm 5 etc. 2 # If a 50-pfennig piece is thrown in either alone or at the same time with 10-pfennig pieces, the zone test is carried out via switching arm 6 and the earth potential application for Excitation of the relay G in the zone tester ZPR via contacts 2.lan, 2.3f, 26n, 176d2, 178d1, switching arm 6 < / B> etc.
Let us now consider the processes that occur when the subscriber sets up a connection but the fee prescribed for the connection has not been paid. # 1, A speaker tries To establish a connection without inserting coins, since the switching arm of the money adjuster GZE remains in its rest position, a circuit for the HI signal of the relay Bes is immediately closed when the handset is raised:
Earth, contacts 2-lan, 23f, 25n, 28d2, 30d1, Switching arm 2 of the money adjuster GZE in the rest position, contact connected to relay Bes, weight III of relay Bes , Battery, earth.
The relay Bes gpricht and transmits a busy number signal to the subscriber by closing the contact 175bes. At the same time, the contact 38bes is opened and thereby making any connections impossible.
2. If the speaking guest pays an amount that does not correspond to the fee for the connection to be established, in this case there is a discrepancy between the two switching mechanisms, zone checker ZPR and money setter GZE, so that one arm of the money setter GZE accordingly a specific zone rail is grounded for the amount inserted, but on the other hand the zone inspector's MW I and MW II switchgear set by the code numbers corresponding to the traffic direction take up such a position,
that the earthed zone rail cannot be reached via these switching mechanisms. The electrical circuit for the relay G which determines the correctness of the fee payment can now not be established in the above-mentioned electrical circuit. As a result, the contact 94g in the zone tester ZPR remains in its rest position, while * the contact 60h of the relay H, which was excited independently of the relay G , is closed.
This creates a circuit for -the relay Bes: earth, battery, contacts 94g, 60h, switching arm 8 of the connection finder VS, wire r, contact 47m (Fig. < B> 1) (the relay M in the money adjuster .GZE was brought to waste by opening contact 59h in the zone tester ZPR), winding II of the relay Bes, earth.
The relay Bes, in turn, switches on the busy signal to the speech lines, and by opening the contact .3,8bes triggers the connection facilities set up until then. and prevents the completion of the connection.
Through the relay Bes, a connection that is already being established is established at the moment when we determine that the money deposit at the coin operated remote control has not been made correctly or that code numbers and thus - traffic directions are selected - which did not correspond to the amount thrown in were interrupted and the connection devices set up until then were released.
If the subscriber hangs up his handset after receiving the busy signal, since the relay E determining the collection of the amount has not yet been energized (relay B is energized) A circuit is closed via the Wickluug dts relay P in the Amis part AT, through which the return magnet RN on the coin cashier JIF is excited as follows:
Earth, battery, contact 5ab, winding of relay P, contacts 108e, 9r, 10t, a-wire, contact 2g10., Return magnet RIV, to earth via the contact closed by the Illaken switch HU . The return magnet pulls through and conveys the amount thrown into the return tray.
e In order to protect the speaking guest from harm, care must also be taken to ensure that the deposited amount is returned. follows if -the participant is too-much. Coins inserted. Has.
If, for example, the participant throws in eight 10-pfennig pieces instead of seven 10-pfennig pieces, the winding IH of the relay Bes is energized on the contact via switching arm 2 of the money adjuster GZE, contact 8 175bes the busy buzzer is switched on, the release of the connection disconnection set up until then is initiated at contact 38bes and when hooking in,%,
ii - of the calling subscriber the return of the inserted amount is completed. As can be seen from the wiring of the contacts of the switch arms 1-6 - of the cash adjuster, indicated in the drawing, the contacts to which the switching arms of the cash adjuster point when inserted -Many coins are set, connected to winding III of the relay Bes.
So even in the event that the participant pays too much, the desired connection cannot be made. be established.
For example, if the participant accidentally throws three 50-pfennig pieces into the throw-in, the following happens: When the first; 50-pfennig turk is thrown in, the relay Dl was activated as described - braelit. After the second 50-pipe piece has been thrown in: relay D2 is energized, as has also already been said. Both relays are in a hold circuit.
If the third 50-pfennig piece is thrown in .4un and contact 18g50 is closed for the third time, the following circuit is closed for the relay, Bes: earth, contacts 22an, 20p, 18g50 , 173d1, 165d2, Howling III of the relay Bes, battery, earth. If the subscriber picks up the receiver, he receives the busy signal and, after hanging up, the amount deposited back.
Only in one case, namely a lack of change, should it be allowed, auel). Exceptionally to establish connections if the pre-written fee is thrown in for an increasing amount, namely according to the embodiment it should be possible to eut a connection , for the amount of 40 pfennigs. direct - is, 'also by throwing in a 50- and making a connection.
90 pfennigs are prepared to produce by inserting two 50-pfennig pieces. The solution to this task is immediately apparent from the drawing. If four individual 10-pfennig pieces are thrown in, the switch arm 2 is set to the . contact 4 and thus to the zone rail 3 over which the zone check then takes place.
If, instead of the four individual 10-pfennig pieces, a 50-pfennig piece is thrown in, the contact bank operated by the switching arm 3 is activated by the contact 29d1 and the rest contact (as already described, yes, - by throwing in a 50-pfennig piece, the DIO switching magnet is not affected, the switching arms of the cash adjuster remain in their rest position), the zone rail, 3 , is also switched on,
so that here too the zone test can be carried out in a positive sense, in the same way as via switch arm 2 when four 10-penny pieces are inserted.
The same applies if for a connection instead of 90 pfennigs the amount of RM. 1. - is deposited. If the participant pays with nine individual 10-pfennio pieces, the zone check is carried out via switch arm 2 of the cash adjuster, contact 9 of the contact bank and zone bar 5. . -by one 50-pfennig piece and four 10-pfennig pieces, the switching arm 3 of the money adjuster GZE is switched on at contact 29d1 ,
and Üie- switching arms of the money, adjuster are set to the 4th contact. Also on this contact. is, the "zone rail" 5. If the participant pays with two 50-pfennig pieces, the contact 27d2 is closed and thus the Sellaltarm 4 is switched on. In this case, the switching arms 1--6 are not switched by the switching magnet DIO. The normally closed contact, on Odem the switching arm 4 is also connected to the "zone rail" 5 .
In all three cases, the zone test is carried out in the same way via the "zone rail" 5 with the only difference that the Ei rdpotentialauleguno once via t 'the switching arm < B> 2, then via the switching arm 3 and finally -iCber the switching arm 4- The control of the entry.
A relay N indicating a new tariff can, as mentioned, take place by a clock mechanism arranged in the switching center. However, in order to save such clocks as far as possible in a large network with many exchanges, and on the other hand to uniformly determine the entry of a new tariff in all exchanges at the same time for the entire network, the entry of the Scht-Iteinri determining tariff change,
The switching to a different tariff in the individual exchanges takes place automatically from this central exchange by remote control via existing connecting lines used for voice communication.
