In der Zeichnung ist die Herstellung der artiger Doppelschleifen vermittelst einer nor malen Heftmaschine mit selbsttätiger Knoten bildung als Ausführungsbeispiel beschrieben, und zwar stellt Fig. 1 Anfangsstellung der Teile dar, wo bei der Stichfaden bereits in die Buchlage hineingezogen ist; Fig. 2 zeigt eine Stellung, in der der Greifer das Ende des Fadens erfasst hat, um es rechts zur inzwischen in bekannter Weise gebildeten Fadenverschlingung zu bringen; Fig. 3 zeigt eine Stellung, in der der Greifer das Ende des Fadens nach rechts zu den schleifenbildenden Teilen gebracht hat;
Method for producing double bows on greeting cards and the like. The present invention relates to the manufacture of a double loop on knot knotting machines of known type, in which the ends of the basting stitches are tied into fixed knots.
This loop formation is often required for jewelry cards (greeting cards, etc.) where the simple, previously common knot is rejected for reasons of beauty.
In the drawing, the production of the like double loops by means of a nor paint stitching machine with automatic knot formation is described as an embodiment, namely Fig. 1 shows the initial position of the parts where the stitch thread is already drawn into the book position; FIG. 2 shows a position in which the gripper has grasped the end of the thread in order to bring it to the right to the thread loop which has meanwhile been formed in a known manner; Fig. 3 shows a position in which the looper has brought the end of the thread to the right to the loop-forming parts;
4 shows the loop extractor and its drive, FIGS. 5 and 6 show individual moments during the loop formation; Fig. 7 illustrates the completed double loop; Fig. 8 shows a moment shortly before the completion of the simple (peelable) loop, and Fig. 9 shows the finished simple (peelable) loop, if only the production of such a surface is desired.
The thread 1 is wound up on a spool rotatably mounted on the machine frame and is drawn out by the thread take-up 2 in a known manner. The needles 3, 4 and 5 move in accordance with the curves on them we kenden, which are not drawn here, up and down. The gripper 6 fetches the thread 1 from the needle 5 and brings it to the right to the connection point.
The main tool for the intended purpose is the loop extractor 11 (Fig. 4, side view of Fig. 3 seen in the direction of the arrow). It has a tick 12 at the front to securely grasp the thread and is movably mounted on the lever 10 at 16 (Fix. 4) and is pulled by the spring 13 with its stop 14 against the stop 15. The lever 10 rotates when the bolt 17 is stuck and receives its drive from the eccentric 18 through the link 19. The spring 20 ensures that the roller 21 fastened on the link 19 continuously engages with the eccentric 18.
The operation of the new device is as follows: The thread 1 is pulled from the thread holder 2 and placed in the path of the needles 3, 4, 5 that, after they have pushed through the staple 8 from below, the thread grasp and pull down with (Fix. 1). The thread drawn down by the needle 3 is grasped by the winder 9 and entwined in a known manner. The gripper 6 then travels through this looping - possibly also through the loops formed by the needle 4 in order to grasp the thread end pulled down by the needle 5 and to pull it out to the right (Fix. 3). The length of the thread is adjusted by the adjustable stroke of the thread take-up 2.
While the looper moves to the right, the loop extractor 11 (fix. 4) moves under it until its hook 12 comes to a stop in front of the thread 1. The hook 12 is located between the loops x and y and is always pressed by the spring 13 against the gripper 6, so that none of the loops just mentioned between Gripper and tick can slip through. As you move on, the hook 12 finally slips off the hook shaft, grips the thread 1 (fix. 5) and pulls it out to the rear when the lever 11 starts to reverse (fix. 6).
The threads are tightened and the gripper 6, after it has arrived in its furthest right position, goes back a little to the left to tighten the loop (Fix. 6) and finally to cause it to slip out of the gripper mouth.
During this last process, the loop extractor 11 moves a little forward again and thus releases the loop so that it no longer comes into contact with the hook when the work piece is pulled away.
If you want to use the same device instead of the double loop shown (Fix. 7) to produce simple, pull-up loops, all that is necessary is to let the thread puller 2 pull out a little shorter so that the end of the loops of the knot is pulled out by the loop extractor 11 becomes (Fix. 8). The single loop, like the double loop, is then tightened to the left during the last turn of the gripper 6 and then looks as shown in FIG. It can be pulled up at the end of the loop.
