Schutzvorrichtung in Dreiphasennetzen.
Protection device in three-phase networks. It is known in three-phase networks to connect the current winding of the protective relay to two current converters lying in two different phases, the secondary windings of which are connected in opposition to one another. Since it is not only important to determine the presence of a short circuit in numerous protective circuits, but also to determine the size of the short-circuit current and use it for the selectivity of the device, it is necessary to determine the true size of the short-circuit current for all errors that occur Relay feed.
The known circuit achieves this automatically with two-phase short circuits that occur between the phase in which no current transformer is installed and one of the other two phases. In the case of three-phase short circuits, on the other hand, or in the case of short circuits that occur between the phases in which the current transformers are installed, the differential current obtained by the circuit is equal to / - 3 times or. twice the short-circuit current. In order to avoid these disadvantages, according to the invention devices are seen which, when an error occurs, in those two phases
the current coil of the relay is energized by the currents of which the current flowing through these changes compared to the differential current occurring. This can be achieved by connecting a resistor in parallel or by parallel switching any other load. In Fig. 1 a Ausführungsbei is shown game of the invention. In the Pha sen R and T of a three-phase network RST two current transformers 1 and 2 are arranged in differential circuit. The differential current is fed to the current coil 3 of a relay. In parallel with this current coil, a resistor 4 is now arranged in series with a contact 5 that is open in normal operation.
The contact 5 is actuated by a relay 6, which is influenced either by the short-circuit current or by the mains voltage in such a way that it closes the contact 5 when a three-phase short circuit or a two-phase short circuit occurs between phases R and T. In Fig. 2, the change in the current flowing through the relay is achieved in that the current winding 3 is tapped and can be partially short-circuited via the contact 5.
In Fig. 3, the differential current obtained by the current transformer coils 1 and 2 is first converted into a proportional voltage by an air-gap converter 7. The voltage is then fed to the relay 3 via a voltage divider 8 and a switch 9 actuated by the relay 6.
When a three-phase short circuit or a short circuit between phases R and T occurs, the changeover switch 9 is placed on its left contact, so that only half the voltage is supplied to the relay 3, as in FIG. 1. Instead, the current transformers 1 and 2 can be provided with taps, which are led to the contacts of the changeover switch (9), or the intermediate transformer 7 can be equipped with a tap, which when an error occurs in the phases R, < I> T is switched over so that the relay current experiences the required reduction.
In Figs. 4 and 5 it is now shown how the relay 6 is designed and how it can be used for other functions within various protective devices who can. In Fig. 4 the design of an overcurrent protection device is shown. The relay 6 is formed as a balance beam relay. Two coils 10 and 11 act on the balance beam, of which the coil 40 @, on the voltage R, -T, the coil 11 is influenced by the voltage_ R,, S '. In addition, a spring 12 acts on the balance beam in the same way as the coil 11.
The relay lever connected to the balance beam actuates two pairs of contacts, one of which is connected in series with 5 with the resistance 4 lying parallel to the current coil 3 of the indicator relay, while the second pair of contacts 13 in series affects one of the asymmetry voltage of the network - the earth fault relay 14 is flowing. To obtain this voltage, a voltage converter 15 with a free magnetic return circuit is provided.
The coil of the relay 14 is connected to the winding that is arranged on the free leg, that is to say to one of its connection terminals n and to the earthed star point o. The remaining phases r, s, t of the voltage converter 15 are used to excite the coil 10 and 11 of the relay 6.
The earth fault relay 14 actuates a pair of contacts 16, which is in series with the contact 5 and is opened when an earth fault occurs, and a changeover switch 17 which connects the coil 2 to the coil when an earth fault occurs 1 of the two current transformers triggers and coil 2 short-circuits. The mode of operation of the arrangement is as follows: In the event of a short circuit between the phases R, xS \, the voltage in the coil 11 collapses, the coil 10 tries to push the balance beam closer to its stop.
However, the contacts 5 and 13 are not actuated. Likewise, nothing changes in the circuit in the event of a short circuit between phases S and T, since the voltages 8 , R and T, R in the coils 10 and 11 change their size evenly and now increase
EMI0002.0043
their face value can decrease. In the event of a short circuit between the phases R and T, however, the voltage on the relay coil 10 collapses, the balance beam is attracted by the coil 11 and closes the contacts 5 and 13. As a result, the resistor 4 is connected in parallel to the relay coil 3.
The same occurs with a three-phase short circuit in which the spring 12 brings the balance beam to close the contacts 5 and 13 when the voltages 10 and 11 have collapsed to a little less than 87% of their nominal value. The earth fault relay 1-1 did not respond in these two cases, so that the contacts 16 and 17 remain in the position shown. If, on the other hand, an earth connection occurs at the same time as the short circuit between phases R and T and a three-phase short circuit, then relay 1 = L responds and actuates contacts 16 and 17.
The resistor 4 is not connected in parallel to the relay coil 3 and the current transformer coil 2 is short-circuited, since a reduction in the current flowing through the relay coil 3 is not desired in the event of a ground fault. In the case of a double earth fault, i.e. an earth fault connection at two different points in the network in two different phases, the arrangement achieves a selective disconnection, i.e. disconnection, or at a single point in the network in order to achieve this with a simple earth fault To be able to continue operating the network.
Since only current transformers are provided in phases R and T, in the event of a double earth fault between phases 8 and T and S and R, only the protective device that is influenced by a current in phases R or T will respond , while the protective device, which is only affected by a current flowing in phase S, does not respond. In the event of a double earth fault between phases R and T, on the other hand, all protective devices respond.
By actuating contact 17, however, the current flowing in four phase T is rendered ineffective, so that only the protective device in which the earth fault current occurs in phase R responds. So that when the contact 17 is switched over, the load circuit of the current transformer 2 is not interrupted, a resistor 18 connected in parallel to the contacts to be interrupted is provided, but it must be dimensioned so that if it is parallel to the 17 after switching the Kontak tes Relay 3 comes to rest, only takes a negligible value of the relay current.
A distance protection device is shown as a second example in Fig. 5. In addition to the current coil 3, the indicator relay is equipped with a voltage coil 20, which is switched over by the relay 6 depending on the phase position of the fault and the type of fault. The relay 6 is designed in such a way that its balance beam 21 acts on two rotatable levers 22 and 23 which are arranged on both sides and which apply the voltage coil 20 to the phases S and T during normal operation. When the balance beam 22 or the balance beam 23 overturns, the voltage coil is then applied to the phases R, T or S, R.
The response of the relay 6 takes place in the manner described with reference to Fig. 4 enclosed. The balance beam 21 does not actuate the contact 5 directly, but via a contact 24 the circuit of a relay 25, the armature of which is connected to the contact 5. In the circuit of the relay 25, a battery 26 of FIG. 4 is installed in series with the resistor 4 on the outside of the contact 16 of the earth fault relay 14.
In this circuit, however, the earth fault relay 14 still has the task of placing the voltage coil 20 between the earth faulty phase and the zero point when a earth fault occurs, which is achieved by arranging a changeover switch 27.
The operation of the device is as follows: In the event of a short circuit between the phases S, T, the voltages in the coils 10 and 11 drop to a value which is greater than
EMI0003.0035
The relay is built so that in this case the Wagebal ken 21 remains in its horizontal position. The levers 22 and 23 are then not thrown. The correct voltage S, T is applied to the voltage coil 20.
In the event of a short circuit between the phases R, S, on the other hand, the balance beam 21 tilts to the right under the influence of the force exerted by the coil 10 and turns the lever 23. As a result, the voltage R, S is applied to the voltage coil 20. In the case of a short circuit R, T or in the case of a three-phase short circuit P, S \, T, on the other hand, that of the coil 11 or. exerted by the spring 12 force and pulls the balance beam 21 to the other side. As a result, the lever 22 is turned over and the voltage coil 20 is connected to the voltage R, T .
At the same time the contact 24 is closed and thus the relay 25 - which actuates the contact 5, it excites. The resistor 4 is connected in parallel to the current coil 3, so that the distance relay is excited by the correct amount of current.
In the event of a double earth fault, the earth fault relay 14 responds, opens the contacts 16 and actuates the changeover contacts 27. The opening of the contact 16 has the consequence that a reduction in the current of the coil 3 is prevented, the switching of the contacts 27, that always one end of coil 20 is connected to ground. The other end of the coil 20 is then switched to either R or T by the switching relay 6. The selectivity of the arrangement is readily available in the case of a double earth fault between phases S, B and 8, T.
In the case of a double earth fault between the phases R, T , however, it is achieved that the current of the coil 3 in the device in which the short-circuit current occurs in phase R is in such a direction that the distance relay responds in the opposite sense and consequently does not trigger.
In Fig. 6, a distance protection device is described in which impedance-dependent excitation members 30 and 31 in series with the secondary winding of the current transformer coils 1 and 2 are available. are. The voltage coils of these excitation relays 32 and 33 are once connected to the phases R and T, that is, to the phases in which current transformers are built, and also to an artificial zero point 34.
The contacts of the relay 30 are with a power source in series with one winding 35 of a balance beam relay 36, the contacts of the relay 31 with the same power source in series with the second winding 36 of the same balance beam relay 37. In the circuit of the coil 35 are the Contacts 16 of a ground fault relay 14, as well as the contacts 38 of a balance beam relay 45, which, like the balance beam relay 6 of FIGS. 4 and 5, is connected in series. The balance beam relay 37 has two levers 38 and 39 which are connected to each other by a spring 40.
The lever 38 is attracted when both the coil 35 and the coil 36 respond and thereby closes a contact 42 lying in series with the trip coil 41 of the oil switch. The lever 39, on the other hand, rests loosely on the armature 43 and 44 and only falls with the Movement of both armatures and thereby closes the contact 5, which stood in series with the opposing 4 parallel to the current winding 3 of the distance relay is arranged. With the armature 43 changeover contacts 22 and 23 are verbun, which put the voltage coil 20 of the relay in each case to the correct voltages.
One of the contacts of the switchover device 22 are routed via switchover contacts 27 of the Er: 1-circuit relay 14 in such a way that when a fault occurs, they are on phase S, that is, on the phase in which no current transformer is installed Earth fault, however, must be placed at the zero point of the system.
If a short circuit now occurs between the phases R, S ', the relay 30 responds and closes its contacts. Since the coil 35 of the relay 37 is excited by. The armature 43, as well as the lever 38 are pulled down; so that the lever 22 is turned over and the contact 42 is closed. The voltage R, S is applied to the voltage coil 20 accordingly. The Aus Z> 41 is energized after actuation of the contact of the distance relay.
In the event of a short circuit between the phases S, T, the relay 31 responds; the coil 36 is energized. The contact 42 is closed like that, as well as the lever 23 is placed around. The correct voltage S, Z 'then prevails at the voltage coil of the relay 20. Since in these two cases only one of the armatures 43 and 44 was moved downwards, the lever 39 could not change its position and thus could not bridge the contacts 5.
In the event of a short circuit between the phases R, T, or in the event of a three-phase short circuit, on the other hand, all bulging coils 35 and 36 are excited and thus both the contact 5 is closed and the ones at the levers 22 and 23 are turned over. The voltage R, T. then prevails at the voltage coil. The resistor 4 is connected in parallel to the current coil. In the event of a double earth fault between the phases S, T, the relay 37 responds as in the case of a short circuit.
The changeover relay 14 applies the correct ground fault voltage To by switching the contacts 27 to the voltage coil 20. In the event of a double earth fault between the phases S , T, the voltage coil 35 of the relay 37 is excited since the relay 45 does not respond. By actuating the earth fault relay 14 and the excitation of the relay coil 36, the correct earth fault voltage Ro is applied to the voltage coil 20.
In the event of a double earth fault between the phases fe. Finally, only the voltage coil 36 is energized, since the relay 45 interrupts the contacts 38 of the earth fault relay 14, the contacts 16 for the coil 35. As a result, only the short-circuit current flowing in phase T. is used for actuation and thus a selective shutdown in the event of a double earth fault is achieved. In all cases of the double earth fault, only one of the two armatures 43 and 44 is accordingly moved downwards, so that the lever 39 does not change its position and thus the contact 5 does not close.
In these cases, the current of the distance relay is not affected. In Fig. 7 an embodiment is shown in which instead of making the distance relay completely ineffective in the event of a double earth fault between the phases equipped with current transformers in a station, a voltage is applied to the voltage coil of the distance relay that, depending on the phase in which Short-circuit current occurs, a shorter or a longer tripping time occurs.
The circuit of the current coil 3 of the distance relay is the same as that shown in Fig. 5. The differential current is fed to the current coil 3 of a distance relay. In parallel with the current coil, a resistor 4 is arranged in series with a closed contact 5 in normal operation. The circuit of the relay 25, which causes the switching of the current coil 3, is via a power source 26, as well as the con tact 16 of a ground fault relay 14 on the one hand and the double contact 50 of a switching xelais 6 on the other. The Doppelkon tact 50 is operated each time the relay 6 responds.
The voltage coil 20 of the distance relay is between the fulcrum points of two contact levers 22 and 23 ge places, of which the contact lever 22 in normal operation at r, the contact lever 23 at t. lies. When the changeover relay 6 responds, the contact levers 22 and 23 are connected to a contact which is generally connected to s via a contact 51 actuated by the earth fault relay 14, but to earth in the event of an earth fault. These connection points are obtained by a voltage converter 15 with a free magnetic return.
The earth fault relay 14 is connected between the end point n of the winding of the free magnetic yoke and the zero point 0.
The generally at t lying contact of the lever 23 is guided via a switchover device 52 operated simultaneously with the contact 22. The fixed contacts of the switching device 52 are both connected to t, one switched on immediately, the other switched on when the lever 52 is actuated via the contacts 53 'which are also actuated by the earth fault relay 14 and establish a connection to the zero point in the event of an earth fault.
The switching relay 6 is formed by two Spu len 10 and 11, one of which is excited by the voltage s, r, the other by the voltage s, t. Both coils act on a balance beam 21, which is held by a spring 12 in its rest position, but when it responds, the con tacts 50 and 52, and the contact levers 22 and 23, as can be seen from the illustration, operated. The mode of operation of the arrangement is as follows: In the event of a short circuit between Gien phases B, T , the voltages E, AS, 8 , T remain in their size received so that the changeover relay 6 does not respond.
Since the earth fault relay 14 does not actuate its contact 16 either, the relay 25 remains urier-excited, so that the resistor 4 remains shunted to the coil 3. The voltage coil 20 also remains at the points r and t because the contact levers 22 and 23 are not actuated. In the event of a short circuit between the phases R, 8, on the other hand, the voltage in the coil 11 drops. The balance beam 21 then tilts to the right and actuates the contact lever 23. As a result, the voltage I3; 8 .
At the same time, the double contact 50 is closed and thus the relay 25, which opens the contact, interrupted. The parallel circuit to the current coil 3 is thereby switched off. In a corresponding manner, the device works in the event of a short circuit between the phases S , T. In the case of a double earth fault between the phases R, S and 8, The correct voltage, that is to say the voltage between the phase affected by the fault current and earth, is also applied to the coil 20 by the changeover relay 6 and by the earth fault relay 14.
However, since a current only occurs in the current coil <3 when the fault current flows in phase R or T, the distance relay is not activated in those stations in which the fault current occurs in phase 8 and there with a Selectivity achieved. In the event of a double earth fault between the phases R, T , on the other hand, the changeover relay 6 remains in its position as shown. When the contact 53 is actuated by the earth fault relay, the t-contact of the contact 23 is connected to earth, so that the voltage coil 20 is excited by the voltage R, E.
At the same time, the resistor 4 is switched off by pressing the contact 1-6. As a result, the voltage R, E is applied to the distance relay in all stations. In those stations in which the fault current occurs in phase R, the distance relays have the correct triggering voltage. In the other stations in which the fault current occurs in phase T, however, the applied voltage is greater than that corresponding to the short-circuit loop, so that a longer tripping time is established.
As a result of this also works. in the event of a double earth fault between the phases R, T the device is selective.
In Fig. 3 an embodiment is shown that closely follows the Ausfüh approximately example 6. It concerns a distance protection device with a distance relay and two excitation relays 30 and 31, which are influenced by the current of the current transformers 1 and 2. The voltage coils 32 and 33 of the excitation relays are grouped together with an impedance 34 to form a star and are led to the connection points 21, s, t of a voltage converter 15 with a free-end magnetic return path.
The differential current of the converters 1 and 2 is passed through the current coil 3 of a distance relay, to which in the shunt again a resistance 4 with a series contact 5 is net. A further shunt is provided for the current coil 3, which consists of two bridging contacts 60 and 61 connected in series, one of which is actuated by an armature 43 and the other by an armature 44. The armature 13 and 44 belong to a switching relay 37, the excitation coil 35 with the l @ ontakten of the excitation relay 30, the coil 36 finite the contacts of the relay 31 in series. lie.
A lever 39 rests on the armatures 43 and 44 of the relay 37, which is only pulled down by a spring 40 when the armatures 43 and 44 move at the same time and thus closes the contact 5. The armature 13 continues to operate a contact lever 22, the armature 44 a contact lever 23, both of which are in the circuit of the voltage coil of the distance relay.
The contacts that are connected to the contact levers 22 and 23 by the movement of the armature 43 and 44 are located at the connection points of the converter 1.5, r, t. The contacts on which the levers 22 and 23 are in normal operation are routed via a further Kot) -takthebcl 62, which is in normal operation at s, but when an earth fault occurs due to the between points u and 0 of the voltage converter 15 switched earth fault relay 62 is connected to earth.
The earth fault relay 63 simultaneously releases a relay 64 blocked by it via a lock 66, which is led to the points r and t of the converter 15 and at return @. 5, responds to this voltage. The relay 64 actuates a contact lever 65, the pivot point of which is connected to one point of the voltage coil 20 of the di stance relay. The contact connected in normal operation is guided to the pivot point of the contact lever 22, the other contact is closed at the point r. In the event of a short circuit between the phases R, S , the starter relay 30 is actuated.
As a result, the coil 35 is excited and thus the voltage coil 20 is applied to the points s, r. The contact 60 is interrupted, but the contact 5 cannot be closed because the armature 44 prevents the lever 39 from moving. The arrangement works accordingly in the event of a short circuit between the phases S, T. In the event of a short circuit between the phases R. In contrast, both armatures 43, 44 are moved downwards. The levers 22 and 23 are both switched over. This connects the voltage coil 20 to the points r and t.
In addition, however, the movement of the lever 39 is also released, so that the contact 5 switches the resistor 4 in parallel with the current coil 3. The ge opened contacts 60 and 61 give the parallel circuit 3 and 4 for the passage of current. By the response of the distance relay, the circuit of the trip coil 41 is closed each time. In the event of a double earth fault between phases B and S, the coil 35 is energized and thus the contact lever 22 is connected to r.
At the same time, the earth fault relay 63 is activated, which places the contact lever 62 at point 0. As a result, the voltage coil 20 is energized by the voltage R-earth. In a corresponding manner, the switching occurs in the event of a double earth fault between, S, T. However, since a differential current only occurs in those stations in which the current flows in phase R in one case or T in the other, it is only in these stations the distance relay can be triggered, so that the selectivity of the device is ensured.
In the event of a double earth fault between phases B, T, when the fault current occurs in phase .R, the contact lever 22 is actuated. At the same time, the undervoltage relay 64 and the earth fault relay 63 respond, so that the voltage coil 20 comes to rest at points r and 0. If, on the other hand, the fault current occurs in phase T, then the contact lever 23 is turned over together with the contact levers 62 and 65, so that the voltage coil 22 is excited by the voltage R, 1 '.
As a result, in the stations in which the fault current flows in phase R, the distrance relay is energized by a lower voltage (r. 0) than in the stations in which the fault current in phase T </ I > occurs (voltage R; T). Therefore, the relay in the T-live stations has a longer tripping time than in the R-live stations, so that a selective mode of operation is achieved.
