Tachymeterfernrohr.
Sowohl dann, wenn die Ablenkung der Strahlen durch Versetzung der beiden Hälf ten eines durchschnittenen Objektives, als auch dann, wenn die Ablenkung vor einer der beiden Hälften eines unzerschnittenen Objektives erfolgt, empfiehlt es sich, in dem jenigen Falle, in dem die Ablenkung nur die Strahlen betrifft;
In der Zeichnung sind fünf Ausführungs beispiele des Erfindungsgegenstandes dar gestellt. Abb. 1 zeigt das erste Beispiel im Aufriss in einem lotrechten Schnitt durch seine optische Achse, Abb. 2 im Grundriss, teilweise in Ansicht und teilweise in einem wageechten Schnitt durch die optische Achse;
Tachymeter telescope. The invention relates to a total station telescope, which is designed for the purpose of generating double images of a measuring rod to be set up at the target location in such a way that at least some of the supplied beams are deflected by a fixed amount when exiting the objective, the deflection being caused by this, for example can that the objective is designed as a cut through lens system, the two parts of which are offset from one another by a fixed amount parallel to the cut surface. or by the fact that it follows in front of the lens.
While in the known total station telescopes of this type, the apex of the parallactic angle usually lies at the point where the deflection of the beams takes place, so that a distance value must be added to the distance to be read from the measuring stick, which is equal to the distance of that apex from is the vertical axis of the telescope, according to the invention such a tachymeter telescope is made zzz an anallactic by optical means are arranged in front of the lens, which cause the apex of the parallactic angle in the .Stehachse of the telescope is.
If, according to the second of the two mentioned cases, the beams are deflected in front of the objective of the telescope, it is advisable to design the optical means themselves so that they cause the deflection. Suitable optical means for this case are, for example, two horny ones arranged one behind the other in the direction of light, separated by an air space, of which one is expediently made of flint glass and the other of large glass, or one, in order to avoid color errors permanently arranged horny of great thickness, which is conveniently placed at an angle.
It does not matter whether the deflection of the rays after the first or the. In the second of those two mentioned cases, that apex position can also be achieved in that the optical means arranged in front of the objective are designed in such a way that they allow incident rays to exit parallel to themselves. Suitable for this are, for example, an inclined plane parallel plate or a wedge system made up of two identical wedges of opposite deflection, which are arranged one behind the other in the direction of light and separated from one another by an air space.
If each of the two halves of the objective is used to generate one of the two images of the measuring rod, then it is advisable to place the optical elements, which are offset in parallel in this case, in front of that objective half that is in front of the image to be created by beam deflection corresponds.
But it would also be possible, albeit less well, to assign it to the other half of the lens, in which case the leg of the parallactic 'angle would experience a parallel offset that would be without this assignment (because of the passage of the beams without deflection through this lens half) coincides with the optical axis of the telescope.
Then the apex of the parallactic angle would only be able to be moved exactly into the standing axis in the case in which a total station telescope intended for the use of vertical measuring rods is involved, with those parallel-offset optical elements in front of one of the two halves, in which in this case the objective is divided by a perpendicular cut along the optical axis of the telescope.
Both when the deflection of the rays by offsetting the two halves of a cut lens, as well as when the deflection takes place in front of one of the two halves of an uncut lens, it is recommended in the case where the deflection is only the Rays affects;
. which are fed to one of the two lens halves, to arrange the deflection device that effects the deflection on the one hand and the optical members, which are decisive for the position of the apex of the parallactic angle, on the other hand so that they are around the optical axis of the Telescope can be rotated by 1.80.
Tachymeter telescopes designed in this way can be used in conjunction with perpendicular measuring rods to measure distances in undulating terrain, in which the height of the base of the staff can be very changeable compared to the position of the telescope, without the telescopes having to be set up for adjustment to different height angles and without the measuring rods having to be particularly long, because the rotation by 180 allows the leg of the parallactic angle inclined to the optical axis to be directed upwards or downwards as desired.
In the drawing, five execution examples of the subject invention are provided. Fig. 1 shows the first example in elevation in a vertical section through its optical axis, Fig. 2 in plan, partly in view and partly in a true-to-scale section through the optical axis;
Fig. 8 and 4 are telescope images of a distance measurement based on the vertical measuring rod; Fig. 5, 6 and 7 each represent part of three other examples; FIG. 8 shows, in a perpendicular section through the optical axis, the front part of a further example, the objective of which consists of two cut halves offset from one another; Fig. 9 shows a cross section along the line 9-9 in Fig. B.
The parts of the telescopes not shown according to FIGS. 5 to 8 are to be thought of as being of the same design as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS.
The total station telescope according to Figs. 1 and 2 is of the terrestrial type. Its housing a is arranged by means of a pin b in a bearing, which has been omitted in the drawing for the sake of simplicity, so as to be rotatable about the vertical axis X-X forming the standing axis. The telescope contains an objective c, a collective d, a reversing lens e, and an eyepiece f.
On the side of the collective <I> d </I> facing the objective c, two flat surfaces <I> d '</I> and d' 'are ground. whose common intersection line d lies in the lens image plane of the telescope, the standing axis X-X is parallel and the optical axis 0-0 of the telescope intersects. The two surfaces d 'and rh are symmetrical with respect to the plane determined by these two axes and are inclined towards this plane in such a way that the image plane of the entry pupil of the telescope, which is adjacent to the erecting lens e, is identical to one another two images of the entrance pupil are offset from one another by half their diameter.
In this image plane, a diaphragm g is arranged, the free opening g has a diameter that is equal to half the diameter of this Bil of the entrance pupil. In front of the right half of the objective c, seen from the eyepiece side of the telescope, there is a wedge system consisting of two wedges h 'and h = separated by an air space, one of which is made of flint glass and the other is made of Crown glass and which are of such effect
that a deflection of this lens half supplied th rays with respect to the optical axis 0-0 in the plane determined by this axis and the standing axis XX by an angle a (the parallactic angle) it follows, so that these rays when exiting the lens are distracted by a fixed amount.
The mutual distance between the two facing surfaces of the two wedges h 'and h =, which is decisive for the position of the apex of the parallactic angle on the optical axis 0-0. is so (T selected. that the vertex lies at the point of intersection S of the standing axis X-X with the optical axis 0-0.
The wedge system h ', h =, which forms the optical means which cause the vertex of the parallactic angle to assume this position, is held in a sleeve i which is attached to the housing a of the telescope around the -optical axis 0- 0 of the same is rotatably mounted.
A pin i 'of the sleeve i, which is guided in a slot a' of the housing a, limits the rotational movement of the sleeve i to 180 so that the wedge system h ', h2 in one end position of the sleeve i (like drawn) the right and in the other end position of the left lens half is upstream.
Correspondingly, the leg SA of the parallactic angle <I> a </I>, which does not coincide with the optical axis O-0, deviates downwards in one case (as shown) and upwards in the other.
Fig. 3 illustrates the former and Fig. 4 the latter of these two cases corresponding to the observer presented double image of the measuring stick, with a sharp dividing line between the individual images L 'and R' respectively. L2 and R2. The mutual distance between the zero lines in the two images corresponds to the distance from the measuring stick.
Fig. 5 shows an example which has a thick wedge j which precedes one of the two halves of the objective c indicated by dotted lines.
The wedge j has such a position opposite the objective c and is designed so that, like the wedge system h ', h2 according to Figs. 1 and 2, on the one hand a deflection of the beams supplied to the relevant objective half with respect to the optical axis 0- 0 of the telescope in the plane determined by this axis and the standing axis XX around the parallactic angle a and, on the other hand, the apex of this angle at the intersection point <B> 8 </B> of the optical axis 0-0 with the standing axis XX of the telescope.
Here, then, the cited position of the vertex causing the optical means consists of a single wedge j and here, too, the deflection of the rays is carried out by these means themselves.
The example in Fig. 6 differs from that in Fig. 5 in that the thick wedge j is replaced by a wedge le and a plane-parallel plate l. The wedge 7e forming the deflecting device deflects the rays approaching it by the parallaxic angle α, the apex S 'of this angle being at the intersection of the optical axis 0-0 of the telescope with the front wedge surface.
The plane-parallel plate l upstream of the wedge causes the leg of the parallactic angle, which is inclined by the angle a to the optical axis 0-0, to be offset by a amount s and thus achieves a relocation of the apex of this angle from b 'to the intersection point S of optical axis 0-0 with the standing axis XX of the telescope. Here, the optical means upstream of the objective, which cause the vertex to lie in the standing axis X-X, consist of the plane-parallel plate 1.
Here, too, the parts <I> l </I> and <I> k </I> can be rotated <B> 180 '</B> about the optical axis of the telescope.
Fig. 7 differs from Fig. 6 only in that the plane-parallel plate Z is replaced by two identical wedges m 'and m = of opposite deflection, the effect of which is the same as that of the plane-parallel plate l.
In Fig. 8 and 9, c1 and c 'are two halves of the objective of a total station telescope. The two halves are offset from one another in the housing a parallel to the vertical axis XX, fixed in such a way that the axis of each of them is away from the optical axis 0-0 of the telescope by an amount t and the mutual distance between the axes of the two halves is Has the value 2t, where t is measured so
that the beams fed to each of the two halves are deflected relative to the optical axis 0-0 by half of the desired parallactic angle α. The vertex of the parallactic angle lies at the point of intersection S'1 of the front main plane of the objective cl, c = with the optical axis 0-0.
The objective half cl is preceded by a plane-parallel plate n, which is fastened in a bushing a 'screwed to the housing a and is of such a effect that the leg of the parallactic angle a corresponding to this objective half is offset by an amount s, so that the The vertex of this angle is moved from S 'to S', where S 'is the point of intersection of the other (extended beyond S \ 1) leg of this angle with the standing axis XX.
Here the optical means, which cause 'the vertex S' of the parallactic angle to lie in the standing axis X-X, consist of the plane-parallel plate n. While the deflection takes place through the lens.
