Ausserdem leidet der Faden auch durch unzweckmässiges Ausdehnen und durch das lange Trocknen. Überdies sehen die Strümpfe nach .dem Trocknen verknittert und unschön aus, da sie, um nicht ruiniert zu werden und nicht unerwünschten Glanz zu bekommen, nicht gebügelt werden dürfen.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist nun eine einfache Vorrichtung, die all diesen Übel ständen abhilft. Sie ist gebildet durch einen die Form des zu trocknenden Gutes auf weisenden, elastischen, aufblasbaren, dünn wandigen Hohlkörper aus Wasser- und luft undurchlässigen Stoff, der in ungefülltem Zustand zusammenfaltbar ist. In diesem Zu stand nimmt die Vorrichtung nicht wesent lich mehr Raum ein, wie der zu trocknende Gegenstand selbst. Sie kann mit Luft oder Wasser, zum Beispiel Heisswasser, gefüllt werden, so dass sie den Hohlraum .des zu trocknenden Gutes ausfüllt und nach dem Trocknen desselben in entleertem und schlaf fem Zustand wieder aus ihm entfernt wer den kann.
Zum Einblasen von Luft wird der Hohl körper beispielsweise aus ganz dünnem Gummi hergestellt, so dass er im schlaffen, ungefüllten Zustand, zum Beispiel die Form eines Strumpfes und im aufgeblasenen Zu stand die Form eines schön modellierten Beines hat. Der Hohlkörper erhält einen Schlauchansatz mit Rückschlagventil, oder ein einfaches Mundstück mit einem Stäbchen aus Hartgummi für den Verschluss oder der gleichen.
Zum Einfüllen von heissem Wasser wird die Form aus entsprechend haltbarem Gummi sein und erhält eine -zweckmässige Füll öffnung mit .dichtem Verschluss. Diese sich besonders für Wollstrümpfe empfehlende Torrichtung kann mit Heisswasser gefüllt werden.
Es empfiehlt sich, die Verschlüsse mit einer Schnur oder dergleichen am Schlauch ansatz zu befestigen, damit sie nicht verloren gehen.
Beim Gebrauch der Vorrichtung wird der nasse Strumpf oder Handschuh über den auf geblasenen oder, um schnellstes Trocknen zu erzielen, mit heissem Wasser gefüllten Hohl körper gezogen. Zwei oder mehrere Strumpf halter, Klammern oder dergleichen aus nicht rostendem Material, die an einem Bändchen aus beliebigem Material befestigt sind, wer den das Herabgleiten des Strumpfes etc. von der aufgeblasenen Form verhindern und gleichzeitig als Aufhänger .dieser Vorrich tung dienen. An den Haltern bezw. Auf hängern werden die auf die Form gezogenen Strümpfe auf eine Wäscheleine zum Trock nen aufgehängt.
Die nun von allen Seiten gleichmässig zuströmende Luft und die glatte Gummiunterlage bewirken ein rasches, gleichmässiges Trocknen, ohne die Gefahr der Verfärbung, da die Strumpfhälften nicht zusammengepresst aufeinauderliegen. Nach dem Trocknen wird die Luft oder das Heisswasser aus dem Hohlkörper abgelassen und der leere, schlaffe Schlauch heraus aezogen. Der Strumpf bleibt schön geformt und wie neu.
Sehr dünne Seidenstrümpfe, mit Sticke reien versehene Strümpfe oder zum Beispiel Spitzenhandschuhe können auf der Form selbst gewaschen werden, wodurch .das heikle Material ganz besonders geschont wird. Ein Seidenstrumpf auf einer aufgeblasenen Form wird bei normaler Zimmertemperatur in zirka 30 Minuten trocken, sonst unter gleichen Bedingungen in 12 bis 24 Stunden.
Es empfiehlt sich, zum besseren Fest halten beim rberziehen des nassen Strumpfes oder Handschuhes auf die Form in den Fuss- bezw. in den Fingerspitzen derselben eine Versteifung, zum Beispiel aus Gummi, ein zufügen.
Als Vorteile der Vorrichtung nach der Erfindung ergeben sich also: rasches gleich mässiges Trocknen, Erzielung einer tadellosen Form des Trockengutes und eines glatten Aussehens desselben.
