Sortengarantieeinrichtung für Baumschulerzeugnisse, namentlich Obstbäume. In den letzten Jahren kommt es immer häufiger vor, namentlich bei jungen Obst bäumen, dass sie als zu einer Sorte gehörig verkauft werden, wobei sich dann später, wenn sie anfangen Früchte zu tragen, her ausstellt, dass es sich bei den betreffenden Bäumen gar nicht um die angegebene Sorte handelt.
Da es bei Formobstbäumen fünf und bei Obsthochbäumen gar zehn Jahre dauern- kann, bis sie ertragsfähig sind, lässt sich der Irrtum, sei er aus Versehen oder in betrügerischer Absicht, nur sehr schwer nachweisen, so dass die Fehlbaren meistens nicht mehr ermittelt werden können.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt nun die Schaffung eines Mittels, mit dessen Hilfe die beim Verkaufe gemachte Sortenangabe zu jungen Obstbäumen und andern Baumschul- erzeugnissen jederzeit nachgeprüft werden kann.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Sortengarantieeinrichtung für Baumschul- erzeugnisse, namentlich Obstbäume, be stehend aus einem biegsamen Organ, welches Mittel aufweist zur Bildung einer gleitenden, in der Baumkrone um den Stamm zu legen den Schleife, die durch die Ausdehnung des Stammes des wachsenden Baumes sukzessive vergrössert wird, wobei Mittel vorgesehen sind, um die Schleife gegen Wegnehmen vom Stamme zu sichern.
Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist ein Aus führungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstan des .dargestellt.
Fig. 1 zeigt die einzelnen Teile der Ein richtung vor ihrer Befestigung, und Fig. 9 stellt die Krone eines jungen Obst hochstammes mit angebrachter Einrichten,-; dar.
Die dargestellte Einrichtung besteht aus einem biegsamen Kennstreifen a, zweckmässig aus einem gegen atmosphärische Einflüsse widerstandsfähigen Metall, zum Beispiel aus Aluminium, oder noch besser aus einer ge schmeidigen Aluminiumlegierung, und einer zweiteiligen Plombe, zum Beispiel aus Alu minium, die eine Kapsel b und eine Einlage scheibe c aufweist.
Diese Plombe ist von be kannter Konstruktion und wird derart an dein Streifen befestigt, dass man das zu plombie rende Streifenende in die Randeinschnitte e der Kapsel b einlegt, dann die Scheibe c in letztere einschiebt und darauf das Ganze mit einer besonders geformten Zange zusammen quetscht, wobei der Kapselrand auf die Scheibe gedrückt und das Streifenende fest- ;eklemmt wird. Der Streifen a besitzt einer- ends eine Verbreiterung, in der die Sorten bezeichnung und die Jahreszahl eingeprägt sind.
Der schmälere Teil des Streifens ist ungefähr dreimal länger als der die Prägung tragende Teil und kann durch das runde Loch d des letztgenannten Teils hindurch gezogen werden, so dass eine gleitende Schlinge gebildet wird. Kapsel und Einlage scheibe der Plombe tragen vorzugsweise den Ursprungsort (Baumschule und Name des Produzenten) des Baumes eingeprägt.
Die Anbringung des Garantiestreifens ist eine denkbar einfache. Der Kennstreifen wird etwa oberhalb des zweituntersten Astes der Krone um den Stamm gelegt und sein schmaler Teil durch das Loch d hindurch gezogen. Darauf wird an dem äussersten freien Ende des Streifens die Plombe auf der weiter oben angegebenen Weise angebracht, so da.ss die Schlinge nicht mehr geöffnet und so der Streifen nicht mehr aus der Baum krone entfernt werden kann (Fig. 2).
In gleicher Weise wie die Obsthoch stämme lassen sich auch die Formobstbäume Und andere Baumschulerzeugnisse mit Ga rantiestreifen versehen, wobei immer darauf zu achten ist, dass der Streifen durch Zuein- anderbiegen der Äste oder durch Abschnei den einiger Äste nicht entfernt werden kann. Natürlich ist eine leichte Ablesbarkeit der Aufschrift ebenfalls zu berücksichtigen.
Bei jungen Bäumen wird man zur Vermeidung eines Abreissens des Streifens während des Transportes das plombierte, freie Ende des selben mittelst eines Baststreifens oder einer Schnur an den Stamm leicht befestigen.
Bei Verwendung zum Beispiel von Alu minium oder einer Aluminiumlegierung für den Streifen und -die Plombe, sind sie fast unbegrenzt, auf alle Fälle aber länger als zehn Jahre, haltbar. Während dem Wach tum des Baumes -wird sich der Stamm immer mehr verdicken und die von dem Streifc-n äebildete Schleife allmählich vergrössern, in dem das Ende mit der Plombe immer mehr durch das Loch cl nachgezogen wird. Der Streifen wird zweckmässig so breit gehalten, dass ein Einwachsen desselben während der Garantiezeit ausgeschlossen ist.
An Stelle eines Streifens könnte auch ein anderes biegsames Organ, wie beispielsweise ein Draht, eine Kette usw. verwendet wer den, wobei diese Organe an .einem Ende einen Ring tragen müssten, durch welchen dann das andere Ende zur Schleifenbildung hindurch gezogen werden kann. Die Sortenbezeich nung kann übrigens auch auf einer an den Streifen aufreihbaren Etikette, zweckmässig aus Aluminium, angebracht werden.
Durch Anwendung der beschriebenen Einrichtung lässt sich dem sogenannten Sor tenschwindel weitgehendst Einhalt bieten. Durch Angaben betreffend Sorte, Jahreszahl, Kultivations- und Ursprungsort ist ferner so fort jeder Gärtner und Baumwärter jederzeit darüber orientiert, wie er den Baum zu be handeln hat.

The device shown consists of a flexible identification strip a, expediently made of a metal resistant to atmospheric influences, for example aluminum, or even better made of a flexible aluminum alloy, and a two-part seal, for example made of aluminum, which has a capsule b and a Has insert disc c.
This seal is of known construction and is attached to your strip in such a way that the end of the strip to be sealed is inserted into the edge incisions e of the capsule b, then the disk c is inserted into the latter and then the whole thing is squeezed together with specially shaped pliers, the edge of the capsule being pressed onto the disc and the end of the strip being clamped. The narrower part of the strip is about three times longer than the part carrying the embossing and can be pulled through the round hole d of the latter part, so that a sliding loop is formed. The affixing of the guarantee strip is very easy. The identification strip is placed around the trunk approximately above the second lowest branch of the crown and its narrow part is pulled through hole d. The seal is then attached to the outermost free end of the strip in the manner indicated above, so that the noose can no longer be opened and the strip can no longer be removed from the tree crown (Fig. 2).
In the same way as the tall fruit trunks, the shaped fruit trees and other tree nursery products can also be provided with guarantee strips, whereby it must always be ensured that the strips cannot be removed by bending the branches together or by cutting off some branches. Of course, easy legibility of the inscription must also be taken into account.
In the case of young trees, to avoid tearing off the strip during transport, the sealed, free end of the same is easily attached to the trunk by means of a bast strip or a cord.
If, for example, aluminum or an aluminum alloy is used for the strip and seal, they are almost indefinitely, but in any case last longer than ten years. As the tree grows, the trunk will thicken more and more and the loop formed by the stripe will gradually enlarge as the end with the seal is pulled more and more through the hole c1. The strip is expediently kept so wide that it cannot grow into it during the guarantee period.
Instead of a strip, another flexible member, such as a wire, a chain, etc., could be used, these members having to wear a ring at one end through which the other end can then be pulled to form a loop. The type designation can also be attached to a label that can be lined up on the strip, suitably made of aluminum.
By using the device described, the so-called fraudulent species can be largely halted. With information on the variety, year, place of cultivation and place of origin, every gardener and tree keeper is also immediately informed about how to treat the tree.
