Antriebselement.
Drive element. The drive element forming the subject of the present invention is characterized by a drive pulley which is mounted on a shaft by means of a universal joint in such a way that the drive pulley can be adjusted to the shaft at angles at which the axis of the drive pulley intersects the axis of the shaft and thus the drive element can work together with a countershaft that is not parallel to the shaft of the drive element.
Such a type of arrangement of a drive bes is often desirable due to the given space conditions.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section of the drive element, Fig. 2 is a cross-section, and Fig. 3 is a plan on a smaller scale.
A shaft mounted in two bearings 1 has two interlocking parts 2, 3, of which the shaft part 2 is thickened at the end overlapping the shaft part 3 and has an axial bore. In this hole, the joint ball 4 is superimposed ge, namely at the bearings 2 'of the shaft part 2 and at the bearings 3' of the end of the shaft part 3 engaging in the bore. The two interlocking the ends of the shaft parts 2 and 3 are conical Pin 5 firmly connected to each other. The shaft parts have longitudinal slots 6 at the bearing point of the joint ball, through which two opposing screw bolts 7 are screwed into threaded holes in the joint ball 94. The cylindrical drive pulley 8 is firmly connected to the joint ball 4 by these bolts 7.
As can be seen from Figure 2, in the joint ball 4 are still two to the threaded holes vertically standing Ge thread holes and these opposite in the shaft part 2 still two longitudinal slots 6 'available. This allows, if desired, two more bolts that are perpendicular to the already existing bolts to be screwed into the joint ball 4 in order to strengthen the connection between the joint ball 4 and the drive pulley 8.
The drive pulley 8 has, close to its end faces, a groove 9 for receiving drive cables 10 and 11 or the like, one of which is the driving cable and the other is the driven cable.
As can be easily understood, the provided articulated support allows the drive pulley 8 to be set in its central plane to the shaft 2, 3 at angles at which the axis of the drive pulley 8 intersects with the axis of the shaft 2, 3. As a result, the drive element can work together with one, optionally with two countershafts that are not parallel to the shaft of the drive element.
Means could also be provided by means of which the axis of rotation of the drive disk can be fixed in place in various angular positions with respect to the shaft of the drive element.
The drive pulley 8 can, for example, also represent a double pulley to accommodate a driving and a driven belt.
Furthermore, the drive pulley 8 could have sprockets instead of grooves, so that the drive element, for example, can form part of a chain drive.
