Elektrizitätszähler für die Anwendung eines Rabatt-Tarifes bei Überschreitung eine Grundverbrauches, insbesondere ätinzzälaler. Eine von den Elektrizitätswerken infolge ihrer grossen Wirksamkeit besonders häufig angewendete Werbemassnahme zwecks. An reiz ihrer Kleinabnehmer zu erhöhtem Stromverbrauch besteht bekanntlich -darin, einen bestimmten, sogenan.nten Grundver brauch an elektrischer Arbeit in einem;
ge wissen Zeitabschnitt zu einem. Kleinabneh- mer-Normaltarif, den darüber hinausgehen den Mehrverbrauch zu ermässigten Preisen zu liefern. Diese Werbemassnahme ist von umso höherer Werbekraft, je öfter die Verbraucher dazu angereizt werden, sich Preisvorteile durch Mehrverbräuche zu verschaffen., indem zum Beispiel die entsprechenden Grundver- bräuchei nicht auf jährliche, sondern auf monatliche Mengen (Monatstarifierung) ab gestellt werden;
Arbeit in kWh.
In. Arbeit in kWh.
Electricity meter for the application of a discount tariff if a basic consumption is exceeded, in particular ätinzzälaler. An advertising measure that is particularly frequently used by the electricity companies due to their great effectiveness. As is well known, the attraction of their small customers to increased electricity consumption consists in a certain, so-called basic consumption of electrical work in one;
certain period of time to a. Smaller normal tariff, which goes beyond the additional consumption to be delivered at reduced prices. This advertising measure has the more advertising power, the more often the consumers are incentivized to obtain price advantages through additional consumption. For example, the corresponding basic consumption is not based on annual, but on monthly quantities (monthly tariff);
the monthly tariff results in 12 advertising impulses per year. The electricity meters in use up to now allow this tariff formation to be carried out with a corresponding additional workload using appropriate billing methods.
However, if the electricity works use meters that allow the application of a discount tariff for the additional consumption after the basic consumption has been exceeded, this not only results in significantly simplified billing procedures, but at the same time much more powerful incentive effects to consume more.
These meters can, for example, be designed in such a way that clic pantographs can continuously obtain information about whether additional consumption is already being supplied by the factory at reduced prices without any special recalculation, just by simply reading their meters.
Such discount tariff counting devices are indispensable in a commercial and psychological sense when using the coin counters or coin counters that are so preferred as overconsumption incentives. Vending machine counter; because the customers who pay their electricity in advance rightly claim for themselves to receive the electrical work they have bought cheaply immediately after a basic consumption has been exceeded.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that a switching device is provided on the electricity meter for the application of a discount tariff, the amount of which is predetermined depending on the amount used. amount of electrical energy from the meter drive itself is actively brought into another switch position.
The invention is explained in more detail using the drawings. The figures represent only schematic embodiments for electricity meters for the application of a Rahattarifes.,. Fig. 1 shows a normal kilowatt hour meter with a discount tariff counter and a reset device that is operated by hand.
Abu. 2 shows a coin counter with Ra. Battery tariff counter and a cash cassette, the actuation of which resets from the increased consumption to the basic consumption area.
Fig. 3 shows a counter with automatic reset.
In Fig. 1 is a. The screw shaft connected to the drive mechanism, the counter via a suitable transmission, whose. Revolutions n (kWh) in a certain time are proportional to the electrical power taken during this time. Work in kWh. During basic consumption (high tariff) the worm a is in engagement with the ratchet wheel b. This ratchet wheel b carries a drum made of insulating material on which a contact segment c is located.
On the drum grind two small brushes d, the contact segment c are temporarily short-circuited as the rotation of the ratchet wheel progresses. The ratchet wheel b carries evenly ver shares screw holes e into which a pin f a is screwed on its circumference. If the contact segment c is brought under the brushes d by the progressive rotation of the switching wheel b according to the elapsed kWh, the tariff relay <I> i </I> is connected to voltage via a snap relay and thus the discount tariff meter is activated by means of a switchable clutch switched on.
Corresponding to the position of the pin f on the Schaltra, dum- fang and by means of its stop on the locking cone <I> g </I> brush pair <I> d </I> and contact segment c form an angle <I> a; a </I> is a measure of the kWh to be calculated in the basic consumption and can be varied within wide limits by setting the pin f on the circumference of the ratchet wheel.
The locking cone g acts like the return inhibitions usual in meter construction. The counter is reset to the basic consumption counter, for example, once a month, the counter readings by means of the reset wheel <I> 1c; </I> the reset wheel 11 is actuated by means of a reset key 1 after the reset key 1.
by means of the contactor na for the reset relay 7a. the ratchet wheel <I> b </I> has been decoupled from the worm a1 and has been brought into engagement with the reset wheel h. When resetting, the ratchet wheel b must be turned back to the stop of the pin f on the locking cone g and thus into its starting position.
When inserting the socket wrench. The snap relay h is brought back to its open position by means of a cam, which it maintains during the basic consumption registration, so that the reset can be carried out with a single handle. By opening the snap relay h, the tariff relay i switches over to basic consumption metering. All others.
Details of the basic arrangement are shown in Fig. 1.
In Fig. 2i, a is a worm connected to the drive mechanism of the coin counter via a cardan gear whose revolutions n. (KWh) in a certain time are proportional to the electrical work in kWh taken during this time. During the basic consumption (high tariff) the worm a is in .engagement with the indexing wheel <I> b. </I> The function. Of .the indexing wheel <I> b </I> is the same as in Fig. 1.
The short-circuiting of the pair of brushes d by the contact segment 'c puts on voltage by means of the snap relay <I> h </I> of the tariff relay. <I> i </I>; there, the worm <I> a </I> is decoupled from the ratchet <I> b, </I> and the gear z from the transmission gear l and the gear z is brought into engagement with the transmission gear m.
The transmission gear m can be exchanged as required. By interposing the transmission gear m, the number of revolutions of the meter drive is translated differently to the cashing mechanism 7c, which, for example, in the usual case of slowing down, allows a greater amount of electrical work in kWh per inserted coin in the over-consumption area , to be taken in the basic consumption area.
The ratchet h automatically resets itself when the tariff relay i responds to its starting position by returning to the stable equilibrium position as a result of the weight of the pin from pin f. Accidental stopping of the ratchet wheel b in the unstable equilibrium position is safely avoided by using a light pendulum weight p or a similarly acting simple device.
If there is no mains voltage in the teaching consumption range, the wheel z falls back to engage with the transmission gear l, but as a result of the action of the snap relay h, when the voltage returns, it returns to engagement with the transmission gear m, that is, in the more consumption position .
Switching back to the basic consumption range takes place every month, for example, when the cash box is pulled out, in that the snap relay h is returned to the open position, for example by means of a cam o, which it maintains during the basic consumption range. It goes without saying that the switchover from the basic to the additional consumption can also be controlled in an analogous manner by a counter for the coins used.
In. Fig. 3, similar to Figs. 1 and 2, a is a worm shaft connected to the drive mechanism of the meter via a suitable transmission, the revolutions of which n. (KWh) in a certain time are proportional to the electrical drawn during this time. Work in kWh. During the basic consumption (high tariff) the worm a is in engagement with the ratchet wheel b.
The function of the ratchet wheel b is the same as in Fig. 1 and 9-. The short circuit of the pair of brushes d through the contact segment c sets by means of the snap relay. h the tariff relay, i voltage. The return worm r and the Antri.ebsschneek <of the time wheel s are driven by auxiliary motors of constant speed. The time wheel s needs the selected time period for resetting for one revolution, for example one month.
The closing of the contact u by the time wheel <I> s </I> causes the reset relay n via the closed switch g; For example a mercury tilting tube, connected to voltage and at the same time the heating wire of a thermostat is switched on. Reset relay r thereby uncouples ratchet wheel b from screw a and brings ratchet wheel <I> b </I> into engagement with worm <I> r </I>, so that ratchet wheel b is rotated back to the stop of pin f on locking lever g becomes.
The stop of the pin f on the locking lever g simultaneously causes the shutdown of the reset relay n and thus reconnection of the ratchet wheel b to the worm a. Before switch g closes again as a result of forward rotation of ratchet wheel b, thermostat t opens the voltage circuit applied to reset relay n and keeps it open until contact u has reopened s by turning the time wheel.
The solenoid lever g is designed in the manner of the return inhibitions customary in meter construction. The torque for actuating the switch: g when resetting the ratchet wheel b is easily generated by the auxiliary motor via the screw r. The feedback of the snap-action relay h takes place simultaneously with. Switching on the relay n.
With such a. After a limit has been exceeded, the counter can be expanded by simple measures. Limits of adjustable basic consumption in kWh. Electrical energy can be delivered to the consumer at a different tariff. In the case of coin counters, an automatically acting reset device can also be provided, which are driven by time switches with manual or electric lift by Ferraris or synchronous motors, direct current motors with a constant number of revolutions. can.
