Schnellspannschraubstock.
Quick-release vice. The invention relates to a quick clamping vice with a fine screw spindle and a high helix thread spindle. According to the invention, the fine-pitch threaded spindle transmits its rotational movement when the vice is closed by means of a friction clutch on the steep threaded spindle.
In Figs. 1 to 4 of the drawings, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an Ausfüh approximately form, for example, showing: threaded spindle, FIG. 3 shows an end view of the blocking device according to FIG. 2, and FIG. 4 on an enlarged scale, partly in section,
partly in view of the coupling device of the spindles of the vice; Fig. 5 shows another possible execution of the coupling.
Essentially, the vise consists of a movable jaw 1, a fixed jaw 2, the supporting sole 3, which has a bearing 4 for a clamping nut of the hollow coarse thread spindle 6, and the female thread of the latter engaging fine thread spindle 7. The latter is provided with a square for t- set 8, which carries a nut 9 at the end.
On the extension 8 of the fine thread spindle 7 a sleeve 10 is provided which is axially displaceable ver on the square of the extension, but is gesiehert against rotation.
On the cylindrical periphery of this sleeve 10, a coupling sleeve 11 is seen in front of which is supported on the one hand against a collar 5 of the sleeve 10. Die coupling sleeve 11 is shown in FIG. On the other hand, the sleeve 1'1 engages with a locking toothing acting on one side in a corresponding toothing of a coupling sleeve 1, 2, which is also provided on the sleeve 10, but is secured against rotation by stop pins 13. This expediently 'short sleeve 12 is displaceable in the axial direction on the sleeve 10 and is supported against a compression spring 14 which tends to always press it against the sleeve 1,1. On the other hand, the spring 14 lies against an expediently releasable collar 15 of the sleeve 10.
Since both sleeves 11 and 12 intermesh with a one-sided, from the sleeve 12 from, in the clockwise direction of rotation locking teeth, so when turning the sleeve 1, 2 in the sense of the clock pointer, the sleeve 1; l is always taken, in the other direction of rotation however not there. the locking teeth of the resiliently supported and thus evasive coupling sleeve 12 slide from the locking teeth of the coupling sleeve 11. The inherently resilient sleeve 1.1 presses firmly against the inner wall of the spindle 6.
It is expedient to close the hollow screw thread spindle at the free end by a nut 16 in order to prevent the sleeve coupling 11, 12 and the ingress of foreign objects and dust from entering the interior of the spindle 6.
The operation of the Vorriehtung 't the following: When turning the key 17 of the finely running threaded spindle 7 in the clockwise direction, the coupling sleeve 12 and through from its square extension 8 through the intermediary of the sleeve 10 and the stop pins 13 this in the same sense of rotation, the coupling sleeve 11 taken along. and since the latter presses firmly against the high-helix thread spindle 6, this is carried along by friction, and the jaws of the vice close quickly.
When the clamping pressure occurs, the high-helix lead screw is fixed in its movement by the blocking device shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 in that the blocking nut 18, which is expediently made up of three parts, is provided with conical extensions 19, which are in corresponding guides of the nut-receiving bearing 4 slide and press the individual parts of the nut 18 firmly against the 5-part threaded spindle.
As soon as this blockage occurs and the key 17 is turned further, the fine clamping of the jaw 1 is carried out by the fine-thread spindle 7. During this rotary movement, the coupling sleeves 11, 112 rotate in the bore of the high-helix spindle because the friction pressure of the coupling sleeve 1 , 1 on the wall of the high-helix thread spindle is dimensioned accordingly.
When relaxing, only the coupling sleeve 12 follows the rotational movement of the spin del 7. wherein the ratchet teeth of the coupling sleeve 12 those of the coupling sleeve 11 from soft. The high-helix thread spindle 6 is not taken along. Only when the spindle 7 with its nut 9 is pressed against the nut 1, 6 of the high-helix lead screw 6 does the high-helix lead screw start to rotate, through which the vice is opened quickly.
In order to prevent the high-helix thread spindle from being taken with the clamping spindle after releasing the blockage due to the low frictional resistance against a fine-pitch threaded spindle when it is released, before it has reached its initial position, the multi-part nut 18 of the high-helix thread spindle is replaced by a spring, not shown lightly pressed against the spindle and thus achieves the necessary greater friction compared to the fine-pitch clamping spindle.
The coupling device shown in Fig. 5 differs from the one just described in that the extension 8 of the fine-thread spindle 7 is formed from a cylindrical shape and carries a short helical spring 11a that fits the extension around. This helical spring ends on the one hand in an angularly bent pin 20 - which engages in a bore of the high-helix thread spindle 6.
The mode of operation is as follows: By turning the fine-thread spindle clockwise, the friction of the extension 8 on the spring turns the diameter of the spring so that it is carried along by friction and consequently the steep thread spindle 6, which causes the jaws 1, 2 of the vice close quickly.
When the clamping pressure occurs and because the nut 18 is blocked, the extension 8 overcomes the friction of the spring 11a, so that the jaws are clamped by the fine-thread spindle.
When the spin del 7 is rotated in the opposite direction, the friction opens the Fe of the lla and therefore the high helix screw 6 is only taken along when the nut 9 or some other stop. is pressed against the end or the nut 16 of the steep threaded spindle.
This embodiment of the coupling has the advantage of simplicity over that according to FIG. 4 and also enables a design that is shortened despite the same clamping distances.
