I>w,</I> iv' bezw. <I>x, x'</I> vorgesehen.
I>i</I> I <B>,
Process for drying bodies, in particular fibrous webs impregnated or coated with alcohol-based resin solutions. The invention relates to a method for drying bodies with re-(), ew n guess of volatile substances.
In particular, this concerns the drying of fibrous webs, namely fibrous webs impregnated or coated with SpiritLis synthetic resin solutions, as are often used in the electrotechnical industry for the production of insulating materials such as hard paper or other CE-layered insulating sleeves come.
In order to enable recovery of the volatile substances expelled from the material to be treated by the drying gas in an economic way, it is necessary to enrich these volatile substances in the drying gases. Up to now this was not possible, because that from the drying room escaping drying gas, for example air, only such small percentages of the expelled liquid, if, <B> Z, </B> t # alcohol or the like,
with him that separating these liquid vapors from the air was not worthwhile. The exhaust vapors had to be given so far so far.
The solution to the specified problem is the subject of the present invention. In order to achieve this goal, according to the invention, drying is initially only incomplete "and it -v #, the mixture of drying gas with the expelled volatile substances obtained during this incomplete drying is made usable for the recovery of the latter , while the final drying process takes place separately, with expulsion of the last remains of the volatile substances elsewhere.
In this way it is achieved that only a table rich in volatile components is used for their recovery.
The method according to the invention can be carried out, for example, in such a way that the drying gas carrying the volatile substances, for example the ntn air, is repeatedly passed through the drying chamber and that it is enriched with the volatile substances Air is fed to a separation system,
where the volatile substances carried along with the t-I <B> en </B> are <B> separated </B> from the air.
But you can also proceed in such a way that the fibrous web to be dried is allowed to migrate one after the other through several chambers and the drying gas laden with the expelled volatile substances, for example air, is discharged separately into chambers from these chambers by only removing that from the or. The gas-vapor mixture discharged from the first chambers is used to separate the volatile substances to be recovered.
In this case, if the exhaust gases from the last chambers are to be made unusable for recovery, they can either be repeatedly bypassed through the chambers or then into the first or respectively. Introduce the first chambers in order to further enrich them in the volatile substances of the goods to be dried.
The separated fertilizer drying of the goods tn t # can be carried out either in the last chamber or chambers or outside the chambers, i.e. in the free space, for example by guiding the fibrous web that is drying around a web located there. # 3rd heated drum.
Instead of carrying out the treatment in several <B> separated </B> chambers, one can also proceed in such a way that two or more drying gas flows, for example air flows, are passed through a single chamber behind or through each other, for example like this ,
that one air stream passes through the first half of the chamber and the other through the second, and that the former is used for the recovery of the expelled volatile components, while the latter is used for the final pan #recovering the goods serves and can remain unused.
It is actually known to repeatedly circulate dry shift through a drying chamber; But this was not done for your purpose of bringing about an accumulation of volatile components in the dry air in order to be able to make their recovery economically in this way. The problem, the solution of which is the subject of the present invention, was therefore not solved by that known method.
Some exemplary embodiments of the previous method are explained with the aid of devices shown in the drawing that are suitable for carrying out the method. Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of the device, in vertical longitudinal section, Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment in plan view,
FIG. 3 shows a third embodiment in a vertical longitudinal section, and FIG. 4 shows a fourth embodiment in a vertical longitudinal section.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, an elongated drying space a is seen, into which the moist to be dried is fed through a slot b. Web <B> e, </B>, for example, a spirit synthetic resin solution over drawn or soaked fiber web enters in the direction of the arrow.
At the end of the drying room a, an internally heatable drying drum <B> d </B> is arranged to be rotatable about an axis e, around which the fibrous web dried in the room a, in front of it, wraps around to then over the roller <B> f < / B> to leave the dry storage devices.
The inlet end of the drying room a is connected by the circumferential line <B> <I> y, </I> </B> li, to the binary end i of the drying room, and into this bypass line <B> g. <I> h </I> </B> a circulation fan <B> k </B> is switched on. Upstream of the fan, a fii #, ehluftzufiihrungsleitun, <B> k </B> opens into the Lei- fano, <B> q </B>, "<B> 1. </B> through a throttle valve in more or less - it can be opened or closed.
A duct n branches off from the line <B> h </B> behind the valve door <B> k </B>, which is used for the filling run., R of part of the air laden with volatile substances and also with it an adjustable throttle valve o ver is seen.
With the help of the fan <B> k </B>, the gas used for drying in the room a, such as air, is repeatedly circulated so that it looks more and more with volatile substances from the path to be dried which wanders through the room a , while the supply of fresh air through duct <B> 1 </B> ensures that the air is not saturated with the vapors and that the drying process is not interrupted.
The final drying takes place outside the drying space a on the part of the drying drum located outside its end i
In the case of the embodiment foxin according to FIG. 2, the moist fibrous material a 'migrates through two separate trunk chambers <B> p </B> and q, which are arranged one behind the other.
Each of these chambers is with a bypass line r respectively. s for the drying air or the like, in which fans it and ze 'are installed, and the 2anz in the same way as in the example described above with supply lines <I> t, t' </I> and discharge lines v, v 'are provided for the air.
In these supply and discharge lines adjustable throttle valves <I> w, </I> iv 'respectively. <I> x, x '</I> provided. The branch duct v 'for the discharge of part of the air from the diversion unit of the second or rear drying chamber q is also provided with a branch <B> y </B> which connects it to the Umla.Ufleitung r of the preceding chamber mer <B> p </B> connects. An adjustable throttle valve <B> P, </B> is also built into this branch line.
This branch line <B> y </B> makes it possible <B>t> </B> to supply the air that has migrated through the second chamber q wholly or partially to the first chamber <B> p </B>. Since the web to be dried is already freed of the major part of its volatile substances when passing through the second chamber (1), the air which is passed through this chamber is only volatile here to a relatively low degree Absorb vapors and therefore still be able to
To take up larger amounts of it in the first chamber, into which the web, which is to be dried, enters in the fresh, moist state.
The air travels through the two chambers <B> p </B> and q in the direction of the arrows given there, by sweeping over and under the path a. As in the previous case, the warming of the air can take place either inside or outside the drying chamber, or inside or outside it.
The outlet through the branch line <B> c </B>, heavily loaded with volatile substances or. Saturated air is used by the recovery system for the expelled liquid, such as alcohol. supplied, where the separation of the gas from the vapors and their precipitation can take place with any suitable means, physically or by marriage.
The air discharged through the channel v 'can, depending on the situation, either get into the open air or be fed to a separation plant. </ I > The setting of the throttle valves in the various supply and discharge ducts is regulated in such a way that the air that is as heavily loaded with the <B> volatile </B> substances to be recovered as possible is discharged and a corresponding amount of dry fresh air is removed Drying rooms is fed.
For example, the arrangement can be made so that every time the air is bypassed in the first chamber, a fifth of the total quantity is removed and replaced by fresh air.
Instead of the air in the anoeo-level way repeatedly or. The arrangement can also be made in such a way that this air in the drying room is subjected to a powerful vortex so that its individual particles come into particularly intimate contact with the object to be dried, thereby accelerating the drying process and the air is loaded to an increased extent with moisture.
If desired, this swirling of the air can also be combined with its repeated diversion through the dry space.
The number of drying chambers connected one behind the other, which may have to be used and through which the air flows are individually guided, can of course be as large as desired. If several chambers are used, the first or several of them heated drums can also be arranged in the manner indicated in FIG. 1, tD around which the fibrous web to be dried is guided while it is swept by the drying gas becomes.
The use of such heatable drumsticks is generally only possible if it is a fibrous web that is lacquered or impregnated on only one side.
<B> If </B> a double-sided lacquered or impregnated fibrous material balm is to be subjected to the drying process according to the invention, then in order to avoid contact of the still moist web with solid bodies within the drying chambers, the drying and expelling process can be used Use the drying flow (e.g. air flow, for example air flow) to keep the fibrous material in suspension as it passes through the drying room,
for this purpose the air is blown from below against the fibrous web moving through the drying room.
On the other hand, it is possible under certain circumstances to avoid the use of fans to guide the drying gas, for example air, and use the buoyancy of the heated air for this purpose. If, for example, the air enters the chamber from below and is heated here by a heating drum, it rises as a result of this heating near the top, where it can escape in bypass channels. In this it then cools down again, <B> falls </B> down and now re-enters the drying room.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the drying room consists of three separate chambers <B> a ", b 'and c, which are arranged one behind the other. The web to be dried <B> d' </B> wanders in the direction of the arrow through the three chambers a ", <B> b '</B> and c' one after the other, which for this purpose are provided on the opposite walls with entry and exit slots <I> e ' , <B> f ', </B> </I> g' and h 'are provided, while a slot <I> i </I> I <B>, for introducing the moist web into the first chamber a ",
</B> and to lead the dried web out of the last chamber e 'a Sehlit7 Ir' serves.
Each of the chambers a ", <B> b '</B> and c' is provided with an air supply duct.1 l 'on the floor and an air outlet duct in' on the ceiling, such that (let the fresh air in in the usual way the exit side of the web from the chamber enters the chamber and leaves it on the entry side. The air can either enter the chambers in the previously warmed state, or the heating can also be achieved inside the chambers with the help of , unillustrated radiators, such as snakes,
Heating drums or the like are made, or both can be used in combination.
The air passing through the first chamber a "absorbs most of the volatile substances from the pathways passing through it and discharges it through the channel in this chamber. The vapor-air mixture discharged here is collected separately and physically or chemically using a suitable separation process Art under before the air is either let outside or used again for drying.
You can also treat the air emerging from chamber <B> b '</B> "lightly, or allow the vapors contained in it to escape into the open air, or finally also as drying air into chamber a" Allow them to enter in order to further enrich them there with volatile constituents and only then to feed them to the recovery device. The same applies to the air escaping from the third chamber e '.
Of course, with treatment in the system according to FIG. 3, the air can be redirected through the individual chambers. bring it to a permanent vortex.
In the case of the Atis ± nutritional standard according to Fig. 4, the web to be treated d ″ moves in the direction of the arrow a <B> ... </B> through the drying room p '.
The air is sucked in by means of a fan u 'through the branch line t' and introduced into the left half I, the chamber p 'in the direction of the indicated arrows. It enters the actual drying room through the openings in the partition <I> x '</I> and leaves it through the openings in the opposite partition y', laden with the vapors of alcohol or the like to be recovered by being drawn in again by the fan i # 2D.
Depending on what you want, it can be repeated, i.e. in a cycle, through part <B> 1 </B> of the drying room p 'or, once it has been passed through the drying room via the outlet pipe' to the - \ Recovery plant.
Here, too, the arrangement can be made in such a way that only part of the air-vapor mixture passed through the first compartment of the chamber is redirected, while another part is given to the recovery system and replaced by fresh air. By means of throttle valves (not shown in the drawing) or other valves in the inlet and outlet stirrers, suitable regulation of the flow ratios can be ensured.
If multiple diversions of the air in this part of the chamber are to be ruled out once and for all, the # 'ciilllaioi, ii.' Of course, only with the suction, connect the same chamber part and from here suck the possibly previously heated air through this chamber part and deliver it to the recovery area.
To supply the other part II of the chamber p ', a second fan ii. "Is provided at the rear end of the chamber. Through the air from the line v", if necessary in a heated state, the line s' in the direction of the indicated arrows and through the openings the partition <B> y '</B> is inserted through into part II of the drying chamber,
which this air stream then leaves again after being loaded with the residues of the liquid vapors to be removed through the openings in the partition <B> x '</B>. Here too, with the help of the fan u! ' a multiple bypassing of the desiccant, if necessary by diverting part of the air charged with the liquid vapors through the line t 'and supplementing it by supplying fresh air by means of the line t' '.
Depending on the unsell and expediency, the air discharged from the rear part of the chamber can also be used to recover the volatile constituents contained therein or, if this does not appear worthwhile, can be left inside.
In many cases, a single passage of the air will suffice for one part of the chamber in order to enrich it there with the liquid to be recovered so that it can be filled directly into the recovery system, while for other parts of the chamber a multiple transfer run will be necessary . to achieve the goal.
The fact that the air in one <U> part </U> of the chamber travels through the chamber in the opposite direction as in the other part of the chamber means that the two air flows are kept separate with greater certainty than if they were in both <U> B> en </B> Xammerteile flow in the same direction -mirden. If and to the extent that at the contact between the two gas flows, i.e. in the middle, a slight loss of both flows should occur, this is of no importance.
Instead of two air currents, three or more such currents can of course also flow through the chamber. where-in turn, a single, s or multiple bypassing of these air streams through the relevant chamber parts can take place at will, and in turn the desiccant can be repeated at will in one chamber part - are led than in the other.
'N, #!' If it is a question of drying fiber webs that are only lacquered or impregnated on one side, the arrangement is expedient in such a way that one air stream passes through the chamber above the web and the other below The former will then be greatly enriched with volatile substances, while in the latter only small amounts will pass over, which in themselves do not make recovery appear worthwhile.
The finished drying of the fiber web, from which the part of the volatile substances to be recovered has been removed, does not need to be immediately followed by the initial drying process.
Thus, the fibrous web pre-dried in the chambers can first be wound up and then completely dried later, for example in a vacuum or by transferring it over drying drums and the like, or the fibrous web can be divided into smaller pieces before or after winding dry these individually, and the like.
