Signalanlage.
Fig. 1 ist ein vereinfachtes Schema, in welchem<I>A, B</I> und C drei verschiedene Räumlichkeiten, zum Beispiel eines Ge schäftshauses, in welchen verschiedene Per sonen gesucht werden sollen, im folgenden Nebenstellen genannt, bezeichnen.
I>AK,, AK,</I> bezw. BK,, BK, bezw.
: .</I> (allgemein DIK) auch direkt an den Pluspol der Stromquelle D angeschlossen werden, deren anderer Pol einerseits über Widerstände <I>P</I><B>R</B><I>,</I><B>PR" PR.,'</B> (allgemein<I>PR),</I> anderseits über den.
I>AL, BL</I> bezw.
Infolgedessen wird die Lampe<I>TL,</I> gezündet.
Die Knöpfe sind mit Sperrmag neten<I>AM</I> und<I>BM</I> versehen.
<I>BV</I> betätigt wird.
Fig. S zeigt eine Anordnung, bei welcher die Verriegelung bei den Schaltorganen AK, BK an den verschiedenen Stellen<I>A, B</I> me chanisch erfolgt, dagegen die Entriegelung durch einen beim Betätigen eines Kon- taktorganes an einer andern Stelle erzeugten Stromstoss stattfindet.
BK, im einzelnen dargestellt, während die übrigen Schaltorgane AKI, <I>AK,</I> bezw.

In addition, a switching device consisting of a number of switches corresponding to the number of contact elements of each auxiliary point is provided at the monitoring point.
From this switching device, lines 0L1, <I> 0L2 </I> (generally <I> OL) </I> lead via locking magnets <I> AM, -BM; </I> CJI for the contacts _AK, BK, CK according to the various branches.
These lines <I> OL </I> can bezw at each of the different branches via the contact organs AK, BK. CK must never be connected to lines PL.
The lines <I> OL </I> are connected to the positive terminal of the battery D via resistors <I> OB, 0B2, OB, </I> (general <I> OB) </I> and can be switched iVIKI , Mg2 <I>. :. </I> (generally DIK) can also be connected directly to the positive pole of the power source D, the other pole of which on the one hand via resistors <I>P</I><B>R</B> <I>, </ I > <B> PR "PR., '</B> (in general <I> PR), </I> on the other hand via the rotary switch PV is or can be connected to the lines PL ..
The parts of the system belonging to the monitoring station and the auxiliary stations are separated from one another in the drawings by means of a dash-dotted line E.
The various I: ontacts AK, BK, CK are for actuation by the. different; Persons whose whereabouts are to be determined, namely @dieKontakte AK "BKl, CKc for the one person, _AK,!, BK2, CKZ for another person, etc.
certainly. In addition, a switching organ UK is provided for each person at the central office. If one of these people is, for example, at place C, they mark their presence at this place by closing the contact element CKI intended for them, with the circuit of the associated locking magnet being closed, which holds the contact in the set position .
If the monitoring person at the central office now wants to find out where the person to be visited is currently located, he closes the switch KK, for example 1VIg1, to which the sought person is assigned. The resistor OB is short-circuited.
Then the contact arm P A is set in different positions one after the other, for example by hand. When the arm in connection with the line PL3 of the extension C, where the person concerned the switch CKI, closed bat, then a circuit is closed via -VIKl, line 0L1, contact element Cgl, line PL3 and the locking magnet VNI , whereby the voter arm is locked in the appropriate position,
which position directly indicates the place where the person in question is currently. The contacts of the rotary switch are provided with visible designations for the various extensions for this purpose. As soon as the switch MKl has been reset to the normal position, the rotary switch PV can be reset to its starting position: The setting of the rotary switch could also be done independently, as will be described in more detail with reference to FIG.
The monitoring point is expediently placed at the work station of the telephone operator in the house telephone exchange, so that it can be operated by the telephone operator. After the telephonist has inquired in the manner described where the wanted person is, she can make a telephone call with the relevant places in connection and thus come into direct contact with the wanted person.
A search system of the type in question can of course be designed for any number of people. The system makes it possible to mark several people at the same extension at the same time and to visit them at any time, as is obvious. As far as is provisionally described, one would have to manually cancel the contact closure at the points <I> A, B, </I> C again at the same point.
However, in order to automatically cause the power interruption at one extension by making a contact at another extension, the arrangement is actually such that the locking magnet on one extension is short-circuited by pressing a button on another extension, so that the button released at the first place and the contact closure is canceled.
In FIG. 1, the locking and release device is indicated only schematically, while the actual design of the same is shown at points A and B in FIG. 2 and their mode of operation is explained in more detail with reference to these figures. is. First, the function of the system will be fully explained, as far as this is possible with reference to FIG. 1. As this figure shows, the various lines PL are connected to the negative pole of the battery via resistors PR.
In a similar way, the lines OL are connected to the positive pole of the battery via resistors <B> OB </B>. As soon as a push button is pressed, as shown in Fig. 1 with respect to the push buttons AK, and BK2, a corresponding locking circuit via the resistance OB., Respectively. 0R2 and the resistor PR ,, respectively. PR, closed.
When looking for the place where the person sought has closed the contact, the corresponding contact MK, for example M ± (", is first actuated as before, with the associated resistor OR2 being short-circuited.
The rotary switch PT7 is then set to the various lines PL one after the other, and due to the presence of the resistors <I> PR, </I> <B> OB </B>, the locking magnet VM is only open when the rotary switch is set the line PLz leading to the extension in which the contact BR-2 has been closed is sufficiently energized. In the example adopted, the rotary switch is therefore locked in the second position.
In the first position, the circuit is closed by the locking magnet on the one hand via the push button A13 and 0.R2 and on the other hand via PLl, <I> PRO, PR "</I> BK2,? VZg, but because of the in: the high resistances OB, or <I> PR "PR, </I> located in these circuits, the locking magnet is not able to operate.
Optical signals SL are also switched on to display the occupied extension in the various lines PL. These signals can be, for example, lamp or lobe signals that are adjusted in this way. that they only come into action when the locking device is effective. The lines PL could contain relay instead of signals, which in turn monitor circuits for optical signals.
In Fig. 2, as said, the design of the push buttons and the associated locking devices are shown in more detail. Only two push buttons AK, and BK1 are shown; these are under the action of a spring AF ,. respectively BF, Lind who held the normal in that position that the button BK occupies on the drawing.
When a button is pressed, for example AK ", the associated line OL, via the locking magnet <B> AM, </B> and a pushbutton actuated contact 1 to the line PLl and via the resistor PR, to .den When you stop pressing the button, the armature <B> AN, </B> of the locking magnet <I> AM, </I> will put it in the depressed position held by the magnet _AM, keeps its circuit closed via contact 1.
If the person in question changes location and goes to point B, they do not need to first cancel the circuit made in place A for this purpose, but only need to press the button in place B, with the contact closure at place A in the following Way is automatically canceled. When the button BK1 is pressed in, contact 1 is first closed, with the locking magnet BM being switched on in parallel with the locking magnet AM.
Then a contact 6 is temporarily closed, whereby the negative pole of the battery is temporarily connected to the line <I> 0L1 </I> via contact 6. As a result, both locking magnets A1V1, and BM, are short-circuited, whereby the button _AK, is released and returns to the normal position.
If the button .BKl is then released, the contact 6 is first interrupted, said short circuit being canceled, whereupon the button remains locked in its intermediate position in which the contact 1 is closed.
In addition to extensions with several contacts AK "; AK, etc., the system can also have extensions with only one magnetically lockable push button if the extension in question is the usual place of residence of a single person.
The contact can also be canceled from the central monitoring point, by short-circuiting the locking magnet, which can be effected by connecting the line OL directly to the negative pole of the battery via the associated contact MK. The con tacts IIK can be switched to three positions for this purpose, as shown in FIG.
Fig. 3 shows an arrangement similar to Fig. 2,. Which is seen ver with signaling devices at the various extensions for producing call signals at these places.
In the example shown in the drawing, the Signalvor devices consist of lamps <I> AL, BL </I> respectively. <I> CL, </I> whose circuits contain changeover switches OK, which are arranged at the central point, and by means of which .the corresponding lamps can be made to light up after the supervising person at the monitoring point is in the previously described manner has convinced that the person you are looking for is at one of the extensions.
The lamp flow circuits are routed via special lines KL, the number of which is equal to the number of lines <I> OL </I>, and which, like these, extend from the central station to the various branches. Each lamp circuit contains a contact 8 controlled by the associated pushbutton, which is closed when the button is pressed and remains closed in the interlocked intermediate position of the button.
As soon as a certain person at a place, for example A, has pressed the button, the associated lamp, for example AL ", can be made to light up by closing the lamp circuit by means of the associated changeover switch OK Draws attention to the fact that the person in question is being sought.
If the signal is not observed immediately, the person will in any case observe the same if they press the button in another place, for example in B, since the lamp BL is activated immediately when the button is pressed Place lights up: At the same time, the call signal disappears at place A because the button is released and the lamp circuit at contact 8 is interrupted. Also in the embodiments according to FIGS. 2 and 3, extension display signals, not shown, are switched on in the lines PL.
In the execution forms described above, the whole system is fed by a single power source. Fig. 4 and 5 show two forms of execution, in which separate power sources for locking the contacts on the side and to locate the latter are available. In Fig. 4, a track power source D is used for locking the contact organs, which circuits are arranged in the same way as in FIG.
The space signal devices, which lie in the lines PL in a manner not shown, are fed via the rotary switch PV from an alternating current source G, which on the one hand is connected to the various lines <I> OL </I> by means of a switch <B> OH </B> and on the other hand can be connected to the various lines PL through the rotary switch PV.
After the contact arm 0A of the selector <B> 031 </B> has been set to a specific line OL, the selector PV is set to the different lines PL in sequence as before, with a circuit for the locking magnet <B> VN </B> is closed as soon as the voter is set on the line PL that belongs to that marker place where the person in question presses the button.
closed, whereby the voter is blocked. In order to separate the alternating current and direct current circuits from one another, a capacitor <I> H </I> is inserted between the selector arm PA and the alternating current source, and there are also resistors <I> PR </I> and <B> OB </B> designed as inductive resistors.
Fig. 5 shows an arrangement analogous to Fig. 4, but the current sources are interchanged so that the direct current source D is contained in the circuit of the space signaling device, while the alternating current source G to .die magnets <I> AM, </ I > BM, CM the push-button switch supplies power:
The resistors <I> PR </I> and <I> OB </I> of FIG. 4 are in this case by capacitors U respectively. V replaced, of which the latter can be short-circuited by means of the contacts MK.
Fig. 6 shows an embodiment which can be used, for example, in hotels for calling service personnel from the various hotel rooms. Places A, B, C are then in the different rooms. The different contact organs of one and the same extension are intended to designate different types of service personnel, such as chambermaids, floor waiters, attendants, etc., who are to be called.
For each of these objects, on the one hand, a switching element MK, on the other hand, an optical signal TL in the form of a lamp, a flap signal or the like is provided at the central point. A resistor OP <I> - </I> is in turn connected between the positive pole of battery D and each of the lines <I> OL </I>; which in this case is formed by the winding of a relay, which relay controls the associated lamp circuit via a contact 9. The negative pole of the battery is connected to each of the different lines PL via a resistor <I> PR </I> in a manner similar to that in FIG. 1.
In this case, however, these resistors are attached to the central office. Otherwise, the circuit arrangement of FIG. 6 is basically the same as the circuit arrangement provided in FIG. If a person in a hotel room wants to call the maid, for example, and for this purpose presses the corresponding button, for example AK ", a circuit is closed through the relay 0R1, the line OL, and the resistor PR. As a result, the lamp <I> TL, </I> is ignited. The lamps <I> TL </I> can, for example, shine with differently colored light.
In order to know from which room the signal was issued, the contact element MK belonging to the lamp TL is actuated, whereupon the selector PV is set in the manner described above. When the voter comes into contact with the line PL that is assigned to the room concerned, a circuit is closed, whereby on the one hand the voter is locked and on the other hand a lamp SL contained in said circuit is made to light up.
The lamps SL form a lamp tableau, which is provided with numerical designations for the different rooms, so that the lamp that lights up directly indicates the number of the room. The setting of the selector can also take place automatically when the contact element MK is actuated. When the contact member MK is reset to the normal position, the short circuit of the relay <B> OB </B> is canceled, whereby the lamp TL is switched on again.
The lamp then remains switched on until the button in the room has been returned to the normal position, which is conveniently done by the person called, for example the housekeeper. Fig. 7 shows a complete circuit diagram of a signal system, with which a local telephone system is combined, which BEZW a telephone set AT. BT at each point A and B and a Fernsprechappa rat TT at the central office includes.
The lines PL are at the same time used for telephoning, using a common return line LT, the latter on the one hand at the normally open contacts on the hook switches <I> A0, BO </I> of the telephones AT, BT and on the other - Is connected to the positive pole of the battery D via series-connected contacts 10, 11, 12 at the monitoring point.
The selector PV is driven step by step by means of an electromagnet DM and is locked in the set position by means of a locking magnet VM.
In addition, an interrogation device EK, a call lamp BL, a buzzer signal SS and a call relay ER are provided at the monitoring point. The circuit connection at the various points AB is done as before by pressing a button, for example BK2, whereby the associated line 0L is connected to the line PL and the associated magnet BMz is excited. The buttons are provided with <I> AM </I> and <I> BM </I> blocking magnets.
The extension is called by sending an alternating current from the alternating current source VK via the corresponding line PL and a common return line ST, the alarm clock of the telephone set AV respectively. <I> BV </I> is operated.
The microtelephon AE respectively. <I> BE </I> is switched on between the associated line PL and the common line <I> LT </I> via the contacts 13 of the hook switch. The call from a point A or B to the monitoring center is made via a common call circuit, which contains the call relay <I> ER </I> and the two lines <I> LT </I> and ST, which circuit is via a contact 1 4 is closed on the hook switch,
when the microphone is lifted. It is assumed that a person at the seat <I> B </I> has pressed button BK2. To find out where this person is, the operator at the monitoring station depresses the MK2 button, and the line <I> 0L2 </I> is connected to the positive terminal of the battery via a contact 15- on the switch is connected, and at the same time a circuit is closed, which is generated from the positive pole of the battery by the drive magnet <I> DM, </I> via a contact 16 on the MK2 button,
the contact 17 on the Sperrmag net VM runs on the negative pole of the battery. This circuit also contains a switch ZR; which periodically interrupts and closes the circuit, whereby the selector PV is switched in a known manner.
When the voter arm reaches the line <I> PLZ </I> occupied by pressing the button BK2, a circuit is closed, which starts from the positive pole of the battery via the line 0L2, the magnet BM "the button BK2, the line PLz and the locking magnet VM runs to the negative pole of the battery and the magnet BM is attracted.
If the locking magnet attracts its armature as a result, the circuit for the drive magnet of the selector is interrupted at contact 17, where the selector is brought to a standstill. At the same time, the lamp BL and the Sümmersignal SS are switched on via a contact 18 on the locking magnet and via a contact 1-9 on the interrogation switch EK.
If the operator now wants to call place B, she puts the interrogation switch EK in the direction of the Tf eils 20, while the button ME2 is held down. As a result, the call current source VK is switched on to the lines PL2 and ST, whereby the alarm clock BV is actuated.
The operator then turns the interrogation switch EK in the direction of arrow 21, the lamp and the summation signal at contact 19 being switched off.
Instead, the operator switches on the telephone TT parallel to the locking magnet VM. When the operator releases the MKZ button, the locking magnet VM is de-energized, thereby closing a circuit for the drive magnet <I> DM </I>,
.which runs via contact 22 on the MKZ button, .ein contact 23 on the locking magnet and a contact 24 on the selector, which last contact is connected to the negative pole of the battery in all positions of the selector arm with the exception of the normal position. This will return the voter to the normal position by continuing to move in the same direction. In the normal position, said circuit is again interrupted at contact 24, so that the voter is brought to a standstill.
If the call at place B is answered by picking up the microphone BE, then the contacts 13, 14 and thus a circuit are closed, the line from the positive pole, the battery via the line <I> LT, </I> .den Contact 14 at place B, the line ST and the relay <I> ER </I> runs to the negative pole of the battery.
As a result, the relay ER attracts its armature and thereby switches the drive magnet <I> DM </I> into a circuit that starts from the positive pole via the magnet D117, the contact 25 and the contact 17 on the locking magnet VtH runs to the negative pole of the battery. The voter is now put back on the zip line; in which the locking magnet VM receives power from the positive pole of the battery via the line <I> LT, </I> the microphone <I> BE, </I>.
13 and the line <I> PLZ. </I> If the locking magnet attracts its armature as a result, the circuit of the drive magnet at contact 17 is interrupted and the selector stops. Place B now has a telephonic connection with the central office.
The voice circuit runs from the positive pole of the battery D via the common line <I> LT, </I> through the microphone <I> BE, </I> via the contact 13 on hook switch <I> BO, </ I > the line <I> PLZ </I> and in parallel connection through the telephone TT and the locking magnet VM to the negative pole of the battery. This circuit is interrupted when the microphone is hung up again at position B,
whereby the locking magnet V.l is de-excited. The circuit for the drive magnet of the selector is closed, which circuit from the positive pole of the battery via the rotary magnet DV, the contact 26 on the relay ER, the contact '23 on the locking magnet V111 and the contact 24 on the selector to the negative pole Battery expired. As a result, the voter is returned to the normal position in the manner described above.
When calling from a point A or B, which can be done by pressing the button _4P or. <I> BP </I> and the microphone is picked up, the same circuit sequence occurs as when answering a call. The call lamp BL is ignited, and the buzzer signal SS comes into action, whereupon the call is answered by flipping the query switch EK into the speech position.
5 shows an arrangement in which the switching elements AK, BK are locked mechanically at the various points A, B, but unlocked by one when a contact element is actuated at another point generated surge occurs.
In the drawing, only the switching elements AK, respectively. BK, shown in detail, while the other switching elements AKI, <I> AK, </I> respectively. BKZ, BK3 are only indicated schematically.
Each push button AK, BK is with an electromagnetically releasable locking device in the form of a locking hook <I> AH </I> respectively. Blf see that the armature <I> AD </I> or. BD of a tripping magnet <B> AM, </B> resp. BM, is connected.
Each push button is arranged for actuating three contact springs 32, 33, 34, of which the springs 32 and 34 respectively with two fixed contact pieces 35. 36 cooperate while the middle contact spring 33 with the locking hook <I> AH </I> respectively. <I> BH </I> cooperates in such a way that it is locked in the position shown for the button BK1 when the button is pressed in and then released. In this situation machi; the spring 33 at the same time contact with the spring 34.
All contact lamellas 36 are connected directly via a common line GL, and the lines <I> OL </I> via contacts MK and a resistor 111 with the positive pole of the battery D, while the negative pole via relay SM, each of which is not shown Master the signal, connected to the lines PL, are. When a person wants to indicate his presence in a certain place, for example place B; presses her button RK, and then releases it, whereby the contact springs assume the position shown in the drawing.
As a result, the line PL, to the line OL., Via the NVickluug of the tripping magnet BM, - and the contact elements 35, 32, 33 and 34 have been ruled out. To find out where the person concerned is at the moment, press the button.
corresponding contact element IVIL1, at the central point, whereby a current from the positive pole of the battery through a resistor M,. The contact element MK ,, the Lei device OL,., the contact elements 34, 33, 32, 35 at BK ,, the trigger magnet <I> BM, </I> and the signal relay SM, flows to the negative pole of the battery. Because of the resistance 31, this current is not sufficient to actuate the release magnet IVB.
In contrast, the signal relay S131 is actuated, which thus indicates the place where the person in question is. If the person concerned has another place, for example place A, they press the corresponding button AK there. In the fully pressed position of the button, the spring 34 makes contact with the contact member 36, a circuit being closed from the positive pole of the battery D via the line GL, the contacts 36, 34, the line OL ,, the contacts 34, 33, 32, 35 on button BK ,,
the tripping magnet Btll ,, the line PL and the signal relay SM, runs to the negative pole of the battery. In this circuit, which contains the resistor <B> 31 </B>, the tripping magnet B1Vl actuates its armature, the contact spring 33 on the button BK being released and returned to its normal position, so that the contact setting at place B. will be annulled.
) renn .the button AK, is released, the spring 33 on the last-mentioned button is locked by the locking hook <I> AH </I> in an intermediate position of the button in the same way as: it is shown with the button BK. If MK, is operated to determine where the person in question is at the moment, in this case a circuit is closed by the signal relay S, 'VI, which also indicates that the person is on Seat A is located.
When the button is pressed, the contact 32, 35 is interrupted, which prevents the release magnet belonging to this push button from being actuated. The contact springs 32 and 33 can be connected to each other under order in such a way that the push button in a pressed position by the locking hook All BEZW. BII is held when you stop pressing z on the head.
A contact setting carried out at any place <I> A, B </I> can be canceled at any time from the central station by short-circuiting the resistor <I> 11 </I> with a contact KK; and by actuating MK, whereby the locking magnet receives a tripping current over the associated line <I> OL </I>:
