Magnetische Legierung.
Magnetic alloy. It is known that even small additions to magnetic alloys can significantly influence their properties if the added metals or semimetals alloy with the iron or nickel of the magnetic material to form mixed crystals or compounds. Example proposed wor to put 5 to 6% antimony to Pemmalloy to make this material more brittle, that is, more suitable for processing into powder cores.
It has also been proposed to add some percent chromium, molybdenum; Tungsten, titanium and other metals increase the initial permeability of iron-nickel alloys. In part, these additives are also intended to increase the specific resistance.
The invention 'relates to an iron-containing magnetic alloy obtained by melting together, for example for mass cores with a high nickel content, which contains a component with metallic properties in the liquid to achieve great brittleness of the magnetic material and a high initial permeability of the finished core Condition forms a miscibility gap with the rest of the alloy. This additional component can be a metal or a semi-metal. It is preferably made of lead, thallium, bismuth or silver and is 0.1 to 5 of the alloy.
In the following Ausführungsbei games of alloys according to the invention are explained. A mass core made of Permalloy with 0.5% addition of lead showed a permeability of 110 and an eddy current loss of 4 Ohm / henry, while pure Permalloy processed in the same way into powder cores with the same heat treatment only had a permeability of about 80 with approximately the same current loss.
At the same time, the material mixed with lead was much easier to shred due to its greater brittleness. than the pure material.
In the case of an alloy with 78% nickel, 18/2% iron, 3% cobalt, better results were also shown with 1% addition of one of the metals or semimetals mentioned, in particular lead, than without such.
In addition to the additives mentioned, other additives can be added to the alloys to achieve a higher specific resistance, a constant initial permeability, greater brittleness and the like.
