Description
Hockey-Stock.
Hockey stick. The current hockey sticks are made of wood, and certain versions are provided with rubber or metal fittings in areas that are more subject to wear.
The cheaper versions of the hockey sticks were mostly made from ash wood to prevent warping and to achieve greater stability; There were also some made of plywood, but they are much more expensive.
The subject of the present invention relates to a hotkey stick which is suitable for playing on the ice as well as being usable on the lawn. According to the invention, it is characterized in that the handle with the club part is formed from a single metal piece.
The subject of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the accompanying drawing, and it shows of the same:
1 shows a side view with a partial section, FIG. 2 shows a view from the right of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a section along line I-1 of FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 shows a section along line II- II of FIG. 1.
The drawn hockey stick has a handle part 1 and a stick 2 in the usual way, which are formed together from a single piece of metal, such as stainless steel, aluminum, electron or the like. The hockey stick is expediently made in cast; but it could also be forged manually or mechanically.
The club part 2 tapers in cross-section from the gante 3 facing the floor when used for play towards the rear edge 4. In cross section, the handle part 1. has a rectangular shape and the corners are rounded.
It is provided with a cavity 5 extending approximately over its entire length and the wall thickness is kept approximately 1 to -3 mm thick. The cavity 5 could also be filled with a light material, such as wood or the like.
The hockey stick described has a very high stability and is less susceptible to damage during violent play.
