A@riperewinduzigen wegen, einen bedeutenden F luss erzeugt.
Device for generating an alternating current of musical frequency by means of direct current. Devices are already known in the form of sets of apparatus in which alternating current of musical frequency can be generated by means of direct current. In all, such sets of Appa advise a magnetizable like, wel cher carries at least two transformer-acting windings on each other.
The current flowing through the primary winding is usually interrupted by an oscillating arm, and the resulting field fluctuations generate a changing electromotive force in the secondary winding. The oscillating fittings of such devices are naturally very light, the contact pressure extremely small, so that contamination of the sensitive parts of the device can easily lead to disruptions that can only be handled by an experienced hand. With other devices applying commutated currents, there are at least three windings on the soft core.
Two of the latter are used to generate and maintain the armature oscillations and to generate the alternating field. In the third, alternating current is induced. For operational reasons, only a few ampere turns can be used here. The contact pressure is also small, which brings the same inconvenience as the device with a breaker.
The subject matter of the present invention is a device for generating alternating current of musical frequency in which the above-mentioned inconveniences are avoided. This Vorrich device is characterized by a relay which has a normally open contact which is so finely connected to the device that it produces a reduction in the field strength excited in the relay itself when it closes, and an increase in this field strengthens it opens. In this way, the maximum field strength can be used to close the contact and for relatively strong pressures.
So the game of the device to small impurities of all kinds is significantly more insensitive than in the previously known apparatus of the same type. The shape of the alternating current generated better approaches a sinusoidal curve, which is technically advantageous in many places.
The accompanying drawing shows an example of an embodiment of a device according to the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic of the internal connec tions of the device; , Fig. 2 is a side view, and Fig. 3 is a front view of this device.
In the example shown, the device has two coil core and winding owning coils a and b (Fig. 3). The first coil a has a high-resistance winding; 1, for example with a 300 ohm resistor. The winding 3 of the second coil b has a much lower resistance, for example 30 ohms. The winding 3 of the coil b acts as the primary winding of a transformer, the secondary winding of which is denoted by 4. The windings 1 and 3 are connected in series. The winding 1 of the coil a can be short-circuited by a bridge in which a normally open contact which is automatically actuated by the coil a is switched on.
This coil a, its core, its armature c and the normally open contact 2 form aas relay of the device. The armature e is thus an- If the device receives direct current, for example by closing a contact 5, as long as this contact is closed, SPFL flows in the two windings 1 and 3, a relatively small current which but in the coil a of the large number. A @ riperewinduzigen because of, a significant flow generated The armature of the coil a is strongly tightened and closes the contact 2 with strong pressure.
The winding 1 with its high ohmic resistance is short-circuited and the current flows through the small resistance of the winding alone. The current strength then increases by a size proportional to the reduction in resistance of the circuit, and the field in the core of the coil b is strengthened accordingly. At this moment, however, the flux in coil a drops to zero, the valve is released, contact 2 opens again, and the game then starts again. The oscillations of the field generate an alternating electromotive force at the terminals of the secondary winding 4.
The contact 2 is formed by an adjustable screw, which allows the frequency of the alternating current to be set by adjusting the armature travel to musical level.
