Dispositif pour la réparation des tuyaux de chanvre troués. L'objet de l'invention est un dispositif pour la réparation de tuyaux de chanvre troués.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du dispo sitif suivant l'invention.
Les fig. 1 à 10 montrent les diverses pièces du dispositif et La fig. 11 montre l'ensemble en place 'sur un tronçon de tuyau.
Le dispositif représenté se compose de deux plaquettes de laiton de forme elliptique dont l'une a (fig. 1 et 3) est un -peu plus grande que l'autre b (fig. 2 et 4), de deux plaquettes<I>d</I> (fig. 7) et<I>f</I> (fig. 8) en caout chouc respectivement de même grandeur que les plaquettes cs et b et d'une languette c (fig. 5 et 6) recourbée en U, les deux bran ches du U ainsi formé étant destinées à passer dans deux fentes pratiquées dans cha cune des plaquettes ra, <I>b, d, f</I> et à être ra battues sur les plaquettes (fig. 10 et 11) de façon à les réunir solidement par agrafage.
Les plaquettes<I>a, b, d, f</I> et la languette c sont faites de préférence en laiton, mais pourraient aussi l'être eu d'autres matières.
Les fentes dans la plaquette b pourraient être bouchées par de la soudure fixant la languette.
Les plaquettes a et b sont bombées de façon à posséder une plus grande rigidité sous un faible poids; elles sont destinées à être placées la concavité tournée vers la paroi du tuyau.
On pourrait, sans sortir du cadre de l'in vention, remplacer la languette e par une vis fixée au milieu de la plaquette b et munie d'un écrou ou même par deux boulons oscillants munis d'écrous, également fixés à cette plaquette b.
Pour boucher un trou, on agrandit d'a bord celui-ci, si cela est nécessaire, de façon à lui donner une longueur légèrement supé rieure à la largeur de la plaquette b par une incision nette pratiquée parallèlement à la longueur du tuyau pour permettre l'intro duction, par le bout, de la plaquette b munie de la plaquette de caoutchouc f et de la languette c rabattue sur celle-ci, puis après avoir fait tourner la plaquette de<B>900,</B> on les applique contre la paroi du tuyau en ti rant sur les deux branches de la languette que l'on passe alors à travers les fentes cor respondantes des plaquettes<I>d</I> et<I>a</I> et que l'on rabat finalement sur la plaquette a (fig. 11) de façon à serrer le tout ensemble.

The device shown consists of two brass plates of elliptical shape, one of which a (fig. 1 and 3) is a little larger than the other b (fig. 2 and 4), two plates <I> d </I> (fig. 7) and <I> f </I> (fig. 8) in chouc rubber respectively of the same size as the plates cs and b and a tab c (fig. 5 and 6) curved into a U, the two branches of the U thus formed being intended to pass through two slits made in each of the plates ra, <I> b, d, f </I> and to be beaten on the plates (fig. 10 and 11) so as to join them securely by stapling.
The plates <I> a, b, d, f </I> and the tab c are preferably made of brass, but could also be made of other materials.
The slots in the plate b could be blocked by solder securing the tab.
The plates a and b are curved so as to have greater rigidity under low weight; they are intended to be placed with the concavity facing the wall of the pipe.
Without departing from the scope of the invention, it would be possible to replace the tongue e by a screw fixed in the middle of the plate b and provided with a nut or even by two oscillating bolts fitted with nuts, also attached to this plate b .
To plug a hole, it is enlarged on board, if necessary, so as to give it a length slightly greater than the width of the plate b by a clean incision made parallel to the length of the pipe to allow inserting, from the end, the pad b provided with the rubber pad f and the tab c folded over it, then after having rotated the pad by <B> 900, </B> they are applied against the wall of the pipe by pulling on the two branches of the tongue which is then passed through the corresponding slots of the plates <I> d </I> and <I> a </I> and that the 'we finally fold back on the plate a (fig. 11) so as to clamp everything together.
