Induced draft propeller system with turbine drive. The invention relates to an induced draft propeller system with turbine drive, such as those used to reinforce the train at ge inauerten and ship chimneys. It is known here to put trainees the two bearings, the upper and the lower, the propeller shaft for cooling an air flow. In order to remove the action of the hot flue gases from the drive motor, it was previously relocated outside of the flue gas pass, either by placing it in a tunnel covered against the flue gas duct, or by placing it outside the chimney The engine from an intermediate transmission of the drive by means of bevel gears was used.
In the latter case, it is also known to arrange the propeller shaft together with a cone drive in a hollow beam permeated by cooling air, which is extendable on slide rails. In contrast, according to the invention, a housing receiving the propeller shaft is surrounded by a cooling housing which, together with the dexf drive turbine itself, is mounted so that it can be driven laterally on supports within the flue gas train. Furthermore, the control valves for the turbine are seen on the outside of the chimney.
The reason for arranging the steam turbine in the flue gas pass is that the turbine housing does not require any cooling, but rather its heating @dureh: the heating gases are more advantageous, and it is only necessary to move the control valves outside the chimney. The suction propeller and the drive turbine can be fastened to two profile irons laid across the chimney by means of the cooling housing, in such a way that after loosening the fastening screws, the whole thing can be pulled out laterally through a covered opening.
The whole thing can be designed in such a way that the free chimney cross-section is only slightly narrowed, and the installation and removal of the entire induced draft system with effectively cooled propeller shaft and inexpensive heated turbine housing can be done very easily.
The drawing shows an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Fig. 1 shows the propeller with the drive turbine, partly in section, partly in view, while Fig. 2 and 3 show the entire system in a brick Ka min in longitudinal section and cross section through Gien chimney.
1 is the propeller and 2 the housing, which contains the upper and lower bearings of the propeller shaft in a known manner, possibly with a tachometer drive, and by means of an oil line 3 from an oil container 3a from a constant circulation fenden oil flow is flowing through, so that the shaft bearings are lubricated and cooled at the same time; 4 is the turbine housing which contains the drive steam turbine.
The drive steam is fed to this through a line 5, while a line (i serves to route the exhaust steam, as a rule the drive is not carried out by fresh boiler steam, but by evaporation or intermediate steam from the main steam engine or other auxiliary machines, with live steam being added for control purposes can, which is fed through an additional steam line 7, which branches into two sub-lines 8 and 9 ver.
While in the usual drive turbines of such induced draft propellers arranged outside the flue, the additional steam valves are located directly in the turbine housing and are set by handwheels, in the present case, since the entire housing is heated by the flue gases, the additional steam lines 8 and 9 Outwardly, and accordingly the two additional steam valves 1.0 and 11, as well as the oil tank 3a, are arranged outside the. Chimney.
The housing 2 of the propeller shaft is enclosed by a cooling housing 14 which is screwed to the housing 2 by flanges. Between the holes for the fastening bolts 15, through holes 16 are drilled through which the cooling air can get into the housing cover 17, from which it can pass further bores 18 enters the chimney. The entry of the cooling air takes place through a side connection 19, to which a protective tube 20 is connected, which protects the oil line 3 and possibly a tachometer shaft located behind it against the action of the hot smoke gases. Likewise, the discharge line 21 lies within a protective tube 22.
The entire induced draft system is attached to two; U-iron girders 23. A side opening is recessed in the chimney at 24 in the width of the turbine housing, so that when the propeller is positioned longitudinally, the whole, including all lines and the cover plate 25, can be pulled out from the side. Opposite is in the width of the two U-iron girders in addition to Ab stood a smaller opening 26 for storing these girders in the masonry from saved.
Of course, the design of the propeller-induced draft system is not restricted to use with brick chimneys, but can also be used for ship chimneys and sheet metal chimneys. In the system shown, it is assumed that the operating steam enters through line 5, and additional steam through lines 8 and 9 when increased power is required. But it could also omit the line 5 and example, through line S of the main operating steam and through line 9 additional steam are admitted. Lines 8 and 9 can also be omitted if there are residues and the additional steam can be fed to line 5.
