Statischer Vielfach-Kondensator.
Static multiple capacitor. As is known, the multiple capacitors consist of a battery of individual capacitor elements, which are often combined in cage-like structures and connected together in groups. Up to the range of 1000 volts, you can still build each element of such a battery for the entire operating voltage, and so there are only parallel connections between the elemen th for the purpose of achieving the desired capacity.
If you get into higher voltages, then with such capacitors, in addition to the parallel connections of the elements to form groups, series connections of these groups to each other are inevitable and difficulties arise for the management of the connections, whatever type they may be, but especially if you the Grundsau wants to stay true to not allowing any soldering points for the purpose of the connection.
A solution to these difficulties brings the static multiple capacitor ge according to the present invention, which is characterized in that the capacitor elements are cantilevered on a support plate made of insulating material, for example hard paper, which is to a certain extent the usual support frame, so that they are easily are accessible for the purpose of being able to make their connections quickly and easily as required.
The connection of the individual capacitor elements to one another is expediently brought about by means of conductor pieces on each element by means of clamping pressure. The capacitor elements can be distributed on both sides of the support plate. In this case, it is advantageous to arrange a capacitor element on one side of the plate finitely a capacitor element on the other side of the plate in the same longitudinal alignment on a common core and to secure their seat on the plate and mutual connection by means of a screw pressure device.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention: FIG. 1 is a front view and FIG. 1 is a side view of the same; Fig. 3 is a partial transverse section for this on a larger scale.
The capacitor elements a, which are present in batteries, are cantilevered on a vertical support plate b made of insulating material, for example hard paper, on one side and on the other, namely in such a way that a capacitor element on one side of the plate with a corresponding capacitor element on the other on the other side of the plate is in the same longitudinal alignment. The capacitor elements are of the well-known winding type.
In the manner shown in FIG. 3, they each have a core sleeve c made of insulating material which forms their core and by means of which they are placed on two metal support sleeves d. The latter are pushed onto a core e which is common to two capacitor elements lying in a longitudinal alignment and which passes through an opening f in the support plate b as suitably as possible.
The carrier sleeves d are provided with a shoulder. Between the paragraph and the adjacent end of the core sleeve c two clamping disks g are inserted, between which the zia the poles of the capacitor elements lead the connecting strips h are clamped. The core e is made hollow and is set in the longitudinal direction by a bolt i, which is equipped at its ends with a thread and with lock nuts k.
These nuts serve on the one hand to secure the tight fit of the capacitor elements on the support plate b, on the other hand to secure the electrical connections to the pole connection strips h as well as on Lei terstück in, which are intended to connect the individual capacitor elements.
In fact, by tightening the. Nuts k the conductor pieces m are clamped to the bushings d and both the clamping disks g are pressed against each other by the bushing pairs and the pressure-transmitting core sleeves c to clamp the connection strips h the whole structure is braced on the support plate b, so that one. receives a solid structure.
The conductor pieces en., Which are advantageously in flat sheet metal strips, allow any connection of the capacitor elements in series or parallel with reference to the power supply lines x, y. This connection can be quick and; can be performed effortlessly.
The carrier plate b with the capacitor elements is expediently inserted into an oil container n (FIG. 3), on the walls of which it can be raised and lowered in vertical guides. Such a Füh tion is indicated in Fig. '3 at o.
One advantage of this arrangement is the great ease with which the individual elements can be attached; it plays an essential role for the economy of the capacitor, in that compared to other known designs, the present one leads to significant savings in time and labor during assembly.
The multiple capacitor described is particularly suitable for high voltage; Of course, it can also be used for low voltages.
Understandably, with appropriately high voltages, two or more support plates with capacitor elements can be set up parallel to one another and their batteries capacitor elements are connected to one another in a suitable manner.
