In ,diesem Ausführungsbeispiel be steht jede der Sekundärwicklungen<I>a, a',</I> ss, ss' aus vier Teilen, von denen je zwei auf jeder Seite der Hauptsymmetrieebene liegen.
Transformer for supplying two or more parallel working anodes of Queeksilberd ampf rectifiers. It is known to feed the anodes of parallel working rectifiers or the parallel working anodes of a rectifier from a common transformer.
To achieve the same current consumption of the anodes working in parallel without the use of additional equipment (choke coils, coupling coils, etc.), the main transformer itself was designed in such a way that it determines the ratio of the currents flowing to the parallel anodes by, through .the The use of special secondary windings for the parallel anodes and a peculiar arrangement of the secondary winding parts on the magnet leg resulted in an equal current distribution on the anodes.
In order to achieve this, the secondary winding parts assigned to the parallel anodes were arranged next to one another in the direction of the leg axis directly above the primary winding distributed on the magnet leg, so that they were well linked to the primary winding in the same way. As a result, it was achieved that the currents absorbed by the individual anodes working in parallel are in a fixed ratio based on the number of turns of the winding parts concerned.
Due to the even distribution of the secondary winding parts carrying current at the same time over the entire primary winding, the most complete possible compensation of the primary ampere turns was achieved so that the rectifier worked with a low voltage drop.
However, this known device still has some disadvantages. If the secondary winding parts that carry current at the same time are arranged, as is known, in two layers in such a way that the secondary winding parts assigned to the current half-waves of different signs lie one above the other, then. the two winding layers are not linked to the primary winding in the same way.
The rectifier thus shows a different voltage drop for the current half-waves in different directions. Furthermore, the secondary winding parts that carry current at the same time are evenly distributed in their entirety over the primary winding, but individually they lie on one side with respect to a plane (plane of symmetry) laid through the center of the leg (perpendicular to the center of the leg) perpendicular to the leg nose (plane of symmetry) unbalanced).
As a result, if a rectifier fails, for example, but especially if there is a short circuit in individual anode circuits, a one-sided magnetic pull (or pressure) of. the primary and secondary winding is exerted on each other, which in transformers of high power can be so large that the structural strength of the transformer is not sufficient to withstand this mechanical stress.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are to be avoided in that the secondary winding parts assigned to the current half-waves in different directions are arranged in a mixed manner next to one another and in their entirety evenly distributed over the primary winding. It can be advantageous to a certain extent to subdivide the individual secondary windings largely and to mix them un.
In addition to the inductive current linkage, one achieves the advantage of the equivalent position not only of the simultaneously current-carrying, but of all secondary windings in general, as well as the possibility of grouping the secondary winding parts in such a way that the magnetic tensile forces (or compressive forces) between primary - and turn secondary windings so far reduced,
as required by the mechanical strength of the transformer. It is very useful for this purpose to arrange the secondary winding parts symmetrically to the mine, that is to say to arrange the parts of each winding associated with an anode on both sides of the plane of symmetry already mentioned and, if possible, at the same distance from the water.
Such an arrangement of each individual secondary winding means that one-sided mechanical stress, i.e. one-sided tension or pressure on the primary winding, even in the event of a short circuit in an anaden circuit, is almost completely avoided.
If the compensation of the primary ampere turns by the secondary winding parts that carry current at the same time is less perfect because of this winding distribution, because they have to be separated from one another in order to insert the winding parts in the opposite direction of current, this increase in the spread is resp. the voltage drop compared to .dem achieved advantage of reducing the mechanical stress on the construction less significant.
The center symmetry can also be repeated several times per leg, for example by dividing each half-leg into two halves by a symmetry plane and already arranging the winding parts assigned to this half-leg in symmetry with this level. At the same time, of course, the symmetry to the plane bisecting the entire leg can be preserved. By placing all secondary winding parts next to one another, the manufacture of secondary coils of unequal radius is avoided.
All coils are now made with the same radius and their arrangement in a single layer allows them to be made mechanically stronger than before.
The subject of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the exemplary embodiments in FIGS.
In FIG. 1, p denotes the primary and q the secondary winding of the transformer t feeding the two rectifiers, ter g, and y2. A single-phase representation is chosen for the sake of simplicity, but the invention relates in the same way to multi-phase systems. In such a case, each leg of the polyphase transformer can be designed as shown.
The secondary winding q consists of parts a, a ', ss, ss', each of which is assigned to an anode a., A ', b, <I> b' </I> of the two rectifiers g1 and g, and feeds them . A plane perpendicular to the drawing plane through the straight line y-y bisecting the winding p shall be called a plane of symmetry.
If one takes into account that in the rectifiers g ,. and g2, the current can only flow from one anode to the cathode, then you can see that the direction of current in the windings a and ss b, ezw. ä and ss' is the same,
but that the direction of current in a and ss is opposite to the direction of current in ä and ss'. The winding group a and ss on the one hand and a 'and ss' on the other hand are thus assigned to the current half-waves of different signs.
Since the anodes a and cä as well as b and b 'alternately carry current, the windings a' and ss' are de-energized when the windings a and ss are current-carrying and vice versa. As can be seen from the drawing, each of the windings a, ss, <I> ä, </I> ss' consists of two parts. These parts are mixed together and are evenly distributed in their entirety over the entire primary winding.
Furthermore, the parts of each winding are symmetrical to the plane of symmetry y-y, so that tensile or compressive forces that endanger the mechanical strength of the transformer are avoided under all circumstances.
In Fig. 2 is a section through the primary and secondary winding on one side of the TransformatorscUenkels is shown schematically. Here a case is shown in which, in addition to the main symmetry, there are sub-symmetries in the secondary winding arrangement.
In addition to the plane of symmetry marked by the line y-y, the winding halves of p are also represented by further planes of symmetry u-u and respectively. v-v divided. In this exemplary embodiment, each of the secondary windings <I> a, a ', </I> ss, ss' consists of four parts, two of which are located on each side of the main plane of symmetry.
The two parts lying on the same side of the main plane of symmetry are in turn arranged symmetrically to the plane of asymmetry u-u and v-v. This further reduces the axial pressure of the windings, as a result of the magnetic forces which the primary and secondary windings exert on one another when there is partial current stress.
The inductive coupling of the secondary windings, which carry current at the same time and which have a relatively large scatter with respect to one another, also occurs here, as in the known case, via the primary winding, so that here too the currents of the anodes working in parallel in a fixed, due to the winding ratio - nis given relationship to each other. It is irrelevant here whether the anodes working in parallel belong to the same or different rectifiers.
