Durchzugsstreekwerk.
Durchzugstreekwerk. In the case of draw-through drafting systems with a large amount of distortion, the pressure at the point of draw-through may only be very small so that fibers that are longer than the distance of the pressure point of the draw-through roller are not damaged. Pressure point of the stretching rollers, which distance is made small in order to reduce the number of floating fibers as much as possible. Both conditions are met in the known pull-through drafting units because the pull-through pressure roller is made very light with a small diameter.
It gets its drive partly from the friction on the fuse, partly from the friction on the lower cylinder and it therefore rotates with a strongly changing number of revolutions because the speeds of the two drive organs are different. This circumstance has a damaging influence on the stretching process, which is increased by the fact that all random forces to which the machine is exposed, e.g. B. vibrations act.
In order to remedy the abovementioned inconveniences, attempts have been made to have the pull-through roller from the Urrter cylinder driven by gears, but these aids have not fully proven themselves in practice.
The cause of the imperfect effect of the pull-through rollers is the low inertial resistance due to their low weight. An increase in this resistance is only promising if it does not also increase the pressure experienced by the fuse. In the sense of the invention, the object is achieved in that the load on the pressure roller acts away from the sliver, so that the pressure roller adjusts itself at an angle to the lower cylinder and is in engagement with the lower cylinder at one point on its shell.
The force with which the pressure roller presses on the sliver depends on the load on the pressure roller, on the distance between the support point of the roller and the force loading the axis and on the distance between the support point and the pressure point. By choosing these distances accordingly, you can make the pressure as small as you want, even when the roller is under great strain.
But since the pressure roller is highly loaded and its inertia resistance can be made large, all random forces remain without influence. At the same time, the pressure roller is pressed against the lower cylinder at the supported edge with relatively high pressure, which ensures that the engagement is constantly maintained. By toothing, corrugation, grooving or the like of the printing roller, possibly also of the lower cylinder, the drive of the printing roller by the lower cylinder can definitely be made to run.
In the drawing, four execution examples of the subject invention are shown schematically in section.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes the pressure roller, 2 the axis of the same and 3 the sub-cylinder. The pressure roller is designed as a sliding sleeve and is guided with play away from the sliver L by means of a constricted neck 4 on the axis. The consequence of this is that the pressure roller adjusts itself at an angle to axis 2 and to the axis of the lower cylinder, as the drawing shows to an exaggerated extent. If P is the component acting on the neck 4 of the force loading the axle, then the pressure D on the fuse results from the relationship: P. a = D. b, where a denotes the distance between the force and the supported edge and b denotes the distance between the fuse and this edge.
The distance of the neck 4 from the supported edge is made small in order to make the pressure under which the pressure roller is held in engagement with the lower cylinder as large as possible. By arranging grooves at the point of engagement of the pressure roller and lower cylinder (Fig. 2), the engagement can be improved. Instead of the grooves, teeth can be provided, and grooves and corrugations can also be combined. Finally, other organs of this type can also be used as a means of improving the intervention.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the pressure roller 5 is equipped with pins 6 and 7 at both ends. The pin 6 is in the normal Ausnehrnung the pressure roller bearing rod, while the pin 7 is guided in a claw that is supported either on the front cylinder or on the rear cylinder. The eccentric load is obtained in that the roller is partly made hollow so that the center of gravity comes to lie outside the longitudinal center. Here, too, there is the relationship P.a = D. 1I, where P denotes the weight of the roller.
The same effect as by hollowing out the roller can be achieved with a full roller (Fis. 4), which is composed of two parts 8 and 9 of different specific Ge weight.
