Description
Serviettenring.
Napkin ring. The subject of the invention is a napkin ring. The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: Fig.I the helical metal spring, Fig. 1I the metal clip, Fig. III the metal clip in plan view, Fig. IV the spring tensioning the metal clip.
Fig. V the serviette ring open, and Fig. VI the serviette ring closed. The napkin ring has a helical steel or brass spring a, in which a handle is bent to form a ring b, c at each end. The metal clip d, which has a small hole e through which the ring b extends, is suspended in the ring b. The clip d is releasably connected to the ring c of the other end of the helical spring a . A small spring f is built into the clamps d , which gives the clamp d the tension to hold the clamped open napkin.
Fig. V shows the open napkin ring, with the metal clamp of which the open napkin can be clipped to any fabric without causing any damage, so that the annoying dropping of the napkin is removed. In order to attach the opened napkin ring to the rolled-up napkin, it is wound around the same and the clip d is hooked into the ring c, as can be seen in FIG. VI. The napkin ring can be used for napkins of different sizes because the spring a can be pulled.
