Positivfilm verwendet.
Process for the production of films for color cinematography. The present invention relates to a process for the production of films for color cinematographs with the aid of a folded film, in which a film provided with an emulsion layer on both sides is inserted into the fold of the folded film, which is then exposed from both sides at the same time to achieve a double-sided image Films.
The drawing serves to explain exemplary possible embodiments of the method, namely: Fig. 1 shows the production of a negative film which is used in the method as a folded film, Figs. 2 and 3 show the production of a positive film by means of this negative film, while Fig 4 and 5 show, on a larger scale, negative films with positive films lying in their folds in section.
In Fig. 1, C, B is a negative film provided with emulsions on one side, which is in the folded state, with an opaque insert or layer in the fold which disappears during development or fixing. 4 is an image that is initially split into two precisely congruent partial images by a prism combination 15, one of which is deflected several times by a prism combination 22 and again separated into two partial images by an optical device 5, 6 and then by one or a plurality of color filters 13 is thrown to the part B of the folded film from one side.
At the same time, the other partial image is deflected several times by the prism combination 23, vice versa and again separated into two partial images by an optical device 3 'and 4', as well as by one or more color filters 13 the part _A of the folded film from the other Side thrown. So from a mother image 4 now four identical congruent partial images on the folded film can be produced at the same time who, which makes it possible to bezw with four. three colors to work. If the image sub-means 3 ', 4', 5, 6 are omitted, there is one part image on each side of the folded film.
If one now wants to produce a positive film with the folded negative film obtained in this way, a film A known per se and provided with emulsion on both sides, as shown in FIG. 2 shows, inserted between the contiguous wings B and C of the folded film, and then, for example, according to FIG. 3 by two lighting fixtures -24 and 25 with the folded negative film, as in Fig. 1, illuminated from both sides simultaneously. As FIG. 4 shows, the coherent emulsion layer 2, 2a of the folded film C.
B are on the outside, and the substrate 1, yes, on the inside, with 3 and 3a being opaque layers between the middle substrate of the positive film A and the two outer emulsion layers of the same. Or, as FIG. 5 shows, the layer carrier 1, even of the negative film C. B, can be on the outside and the coherent emulsion layer 2, 2a can be adjacent to the positive film.
The method can of course also be used for the production of negative films, if one is produced in some way as a folded film. Positive film used.
