Telephone station equipped with a rotary dial and Nikrotelephon, which can be set up for use on the wall as well as on the table without any substantial changes to the structure. The invention relates to a rotary dial and microtelephone telephone station which can be used without substantial changes in construction for both wall-mounted. as well as for table use.
It is known that all telephone administrations have separate designs and constructions for the wall-mounted and table-top devices, so that each of them has to keep at least two types of devices permanently in the warehouse and in the factory.
The present invention enables unification and standardization to only one type of apparatus, a so-called "unit type". The economic advantages are obvious: production in larger series, consequently cheaper prices, also simplified and reduced inventory, simplified replacement of defective components, simplified ratios for the operation, since the device at the participant for one, as well as can be used for the other purpose. The advantages that apply to public telephone service also apply to private telephone service.
One of the main obstacles, why a table station can not be used as a wall station and vice versa a wall station as a table station, lies in the different demands on the fork carrier (which carries out the known switching by means of the hook switch) by the placement of the microphone. Due to its heavy weight, the microtelephone always acts in a vertical right direction, while the fork carrier attacks in different planes, depending on whether it is a wall or table station.
Another difficulty arises with the rotary dial. For the use of a device as a table station, the dial can conveniently be installed at an angle on the device box, the position of the wall device can be different.
According to the present invention, the purpose becomes. achieved in that the ZZlählscheibe and the fork carrier for the 'Microtelephon are designed and arranged in such a way that they are in the for table or. Wall use of the station can be switched to the appropriate location.
Two embodiments of the subject invention are shown in the drawings.
Figs. 1 to 6 relate to the first example. 1 is a front view and FIG. 2 is a side view of a station used as a table apparatus; Fig. 3 shows in a front view, and Fig. 4 in a side view, the same station, but made for wall use; 5 shows, on a larger scale, a section through the apparatus; Fig. 6 shows a detail.
It means K. the cap for the dial N, D the cover and S the base of the device, G the fork carrier for the microtelephon M, and A the axis of the fork carrier. The dial N. Is inclined in a known manner to the base of the base S.
When the microphone M is removed, the fork G is actuated, which in turn controls the beveled hook switch located inside the device. The cap K with its top side corresponding to the inclination of the disk N is rotated by 180 in FIGS. 3 and 4 with respect to the cap according to FIG. 5 after loosening the screws 7n, whereby the disk N receives the new useful position for the wall use, while the free ends of the fork G protrude upward beyond the base of the base IS '.
The apparatus parts accommodated in the apparatus housing are shown in FIG. IV is a single-shell alarm clock which is attached inside the dial N '. This type of storage is particularly practical because an alarm clock that is loud enough for desk and wall use is approximately as large as the number switch.
The anchor of the alarm clock carries a clapper a, which alternately touches two noses b located on the edge of the shell, whereby the same number of beats can be achieved as with a double-shell alarm clock. B is a bridge that carries the alarm clock yT7, the cap K, the capacitor C, and the induction coil I . T are the push buttons for actuating contacts that are used for Switchover of the device to house resp. Post connection serve. They can be omitted with a simple connection.
The axis A of the fork carrier G is provided at one end with a hexagon c, onto which the end of the fork carrier, provided with a corresponding hexagonal opening, is plugged in any position depending on the assembly of the apparatus and with the screw d in this Location to be secured. can. On the axis A, a cam e is arranged made of insulating material, wel cher with the contact springs f of the switchover age known design cooperates.
7 to 12 relate to the second exemplary embodiment, namely FIG. 7 is the front view, FIG. 8 is a side view, FIG. 9 is a plan view, and FIG. 10 is a longitudinal section of a station used as a table apparatus; Fig. 11 is the front view and Fig. 12 is a side view of the same station but converted for wall use. It means K the cap for the dial, D den. Lid of the apparatus, S the base.
The cap K together with the dial is pivotably mounted on two supports St, whereby the desired adjustment for wall or table use is achieved.
The two-part fork carriage G has a joint g around which the upper, forked part can be pivoted. The fork carrier G is axially displaceable against the action of springs h , with a .pin i of the fork carrier sliding in a guide slot k. However, the fork carriage can also be pivoted about this pin i, one of the springs h counteracting the pivoting movement. At the lower end of the fork carrier G sits an angled insulating piece m.
Depending on the fork carriage moved axially. or is pivoted, one or the other leg of the insulating piece occurs between the contact springs p of the changeover switch and thereby produces the required circuit.
