Bandage zur Korrektur des Fusses. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine Bandage zur Korrektur des Fusses, mit einer über den Vorderfuss ziehbaren, bis über den Knöchel reichenden Hülle.
In beiliegender Zeichnung sind zwei bei spielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfin dungsgegenstandes veranschaulicht, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht eines mit einer Bandage gemäss der ersten Ausführung be kleideten Fusses, Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht dieser Ausfüh- ru ngsf orm, Fig. 3 die zweite Ausführungsform der Bandage, Fig. 4 eine Detailvariante der Bandage. Die in den Fig. 1 und 2 dargestellte Bandage besitzt eine strumpfartige Hülle 2, welche bis über den Fussknöchel reicht.
Die Spitze der aus längselastischem Gewebe be stehenden Hülle ist abgeschnitten, so dass die Zehen freiliegen. t'ber eine in ihrer Stellung zu korrigierende Zehe (in der Zeichnung die grosse) ist eine Kappe 3 aus weichen; Leder, zum Beispiel Hirschleder, oder aus irgend einem Gewebe gezogen. Die Kappe 3 ist am Ende eines Bandes 4, welches um das Fuss gelenk und den Mittelfuss geschlungen wird und eine Schlaufe 5 trägt, befestigt. Durch die Schlaufe 5 wird der um den Mittelfuss herum zu schlingende Bandteil gezogen, um dessen Lage auf dem Mittelfuss zu sichern. Das andere, freie Ende des Bandes trägt eine Reihe Knopflöcher 6, welche in einen an der Hülle festgenähten Knopf 7 eingeknöpft werden können.
Durch straffes Anziehen des Bandes wird ein Zug ausgeübt, der, exzen trisch zum Zehengelenk angreifend, auf das selbe einen Spreizzug bezw. ein Drehmoment in der Richtung des Pfeils ausübt, wodurch die Zehe in die Normalstellung gezogen und unter einer gewissen Spannung in derselben festgehalten wird. Ein Knopf 8 gestattet das Einhängen des Bandendes, wenn stark ausgeschnittene Schuhe getragen werden.
Die strumpfartige Hülle umfasst zweck mässig den Vorderfuss bis dicht zu den Zehen, damit ein Druck auf die Metatarsälen aus geübt und dadurch der Vorderfuss in der Querrichtung zusammengedrückt wird und die etwa zu schwachen Muskeln oder Bän der dieses Fussteils unterstützt werden. Wird die Bandage aus weichen, dünnen Stoffen hergestellt, so trägt sie so wenig auf, dass sie bei Tag und Nacht getragen werden kann, und zwar bei Tag unter dem Strumpf; sie gestattet daher das Tragen eines normalen Schuhes. Dadurch, dass sie aus längselasti schem Gewebe hergestellt ist, ist eine ge wisse Beweglichkeit der in der Korrektur stellung festgehaltenen Zehen, wie sie beim Gehen erforderlich ist, sichergestellt.
Er fahrungsgemäss bedarf es eines verhältnis mässig geringen Spreizzuges oder Dreh momentes, um eine in falscher :Stellung be findliche Zehe in der richtigen Stellung zu fixieren.
Ist neben einer bestimmten Zehe, vorwie gend der grossen, noch eine zweite Zehe zu korrigieren, so kann dies durch eine weitere Kappe geschehen, die ihrerseits durch ein Band, das diesmal nicht um das Fussgelenk gelebt zu werden braucht, an der strumpf artigen Hülle einstellbar befestigt ist. An der Ferse kann ein Loch 12 vorgesehen sein (Fig. 4), das mit einem Band eingefasst und mit einem Steg 13 überbrückt ist.
Die Bülle kann auch, wie in Fig. 3 dar gestellt, durch ein Band gebildet sein, dessen Enden fest miteinander verbunden sind. Dieses auf diese Weise endlos in sieh ge schlossene Band bildet zwei Schlaufen 10, von denen beim Gebrauch die eine um den Knöchel, die andere um das Fussgewölbe zu liegen kommt. Diese bandartige Hülle kann, wie in Fig. 3 dargestellt, mit der strumpf artigen Hülle zusammen oder für sich allein getragen werden.

The tip of the sheath made of lengthwise elastic fabric is cut off so that the toes are exposed. By tightening the tape a train is exerted, attacking eccentrically to the toe joint, respectively on the same a spreading train. exerts a torque in the direction of the arrow, thereby pulling the toe into the normal position and holding it in place under some tension. A button 8 allows the end of the tape to be hooked in when high-cut shoes are worn.
The sock-like cover expediently covers the forefoot up to the toes so that pressure is exerted on the metatarsals and the forefoot is thereby compressed in the transverse direction and the muscles or ligaments of this foot part that are too weak are supported. If the bandage is made of soft, thin fabrics, it is so little bulky that it can be worn day and night, and during the day under the stocking; it therefore allows a normal shoe to be worn. Because it is made from lengthwise elastic fabric, a certain mobility of the toes held in the correction position, as is required when walking, is ensured.
According to experience, a relatively small spreading pull or torque is required to fix a toe that is in the wrong position in the correct position.
If a second toe needs to be corrected in addition to a certain toe, mainly the big one, this can be done with a further cap, which in turn can be adjusted on the stocking-like cover by means of a strap, which this time does not need to be wrapped around the ankle is attached.
