Description
Fener release agent. The present invention is a fire extinguishing agent which can be poured into fire extinguishers that work with water.
When it comes into contact with water, this fire extinguishing agent produces a strong development of gases and a lively effervescence.
It is indicated that it consists of a mixture containing sodium bicarbonate, slaked lime, ammonium bicarbonate, bolus and organic acid.
Example The following are some compositions of the fire extinguishing agent: 18% sodium bicarbonate, 18% slaked lime, 5% ammonium bicarbonate, 18% bolus, 19.5% tartaric acid and 21.5 / o citric acid, the latter two bodies powdered.
17% sodium bicarbonate, 17% slaked lime, 5% ammonium bicarbonate, 17% bolus, 25.5% citric acid and 18.5% oxalic acid, the latter two powdered.
18, "0% sodium bicarbonate, 18.5% slaked lime, 5% ammonium bicarbonate, 18% bolus, 20.5% tartaric acid and 19.5% ice-phosphoric acid, the latter both powdered.
18% sodium bicarbonate, 18% slaked lime, 50% ammonium bicarbonate, 18 0% bolus, 21.4% aluminum sulfate and 19.6% tartaric acid, the latter two parts powdered.
23% sodium bicarbonate, 13% slaked lime, 5% ammonium bicarbonate, 18% bolus, 21.4% aluminum sulphate and 19.6% tartaric acid, the latter two bodies powdered.
If any of these five combinations of chemicals comes into contact with water, a chemical process starts immediately. A strong development of carbonic acid takes place, which causes a strong effervescence of the mixture. It becomes a den on the surface of the object to be protected. The incombustible crust that prevents air from entering the fire is formed, while the gases developed have a suffocating effect on the fire.
The present agent does not attack metals, wood, cloth, etc.; Experience has shown that the salt crust can be scraped off again without leaving any scuff marks. In conjunction with water, the agent ensures that even larger sources of fire can be extinguished quickly, which means that less water damage than before can occur during extinguishing operations.
