Description

  

  Einrichtung für den Anschluss von Schläuchen und Rohren an Hohlkörpern.    Es kommen Anschlüsse von Schläuchen  und Rohren an Hohlkörpern vor, welche ohne  Verschraubung oder     Bajonettverschluss    be  werkstelligt werden. Die vorliegende Erfin  dung bezieht sich auf eine Einrichtung für  einen solchen Anschluss, bei welchem ein mit  zum Beispiel konischem Kopfstück versehener  Schlauch oder biegsames oder starres Rohr  an einen Hohlkörper angeschlossen werden  soll.

   Der Hohlkörper besitzt erfindungsgemäss  einen     Anschlussstutzen,    auf welchen ein ela  stischer Ring angesteckt ist, der sich nach  Einführung des     Kopfstückes    des Schlauches  oder Rohres an die     Mantelfläche    des Kopf  stückes anzuschmiegen und es durch Reibung  so zu halten vermag, dass das Kopfstück mit  dem Schlauch oder Rohr gedreht werden  kann, ohne sich hierbei gleich vom Stutzen  loszutrennen.  



  Die beigegebene Zeichnung stellt an einem  Gehäuse zur Aufnahme des von einem elek  trischen     Staubsaugeapparatangesaugten    Stau  bes und Unrates ein Ausführungsbeispiel des  Erfindungsgegenstandes dar.     Fig.    1 ist ein  Längsschnitt eines Hohlkörpers, an dessen  einem Ende ein Schlauch oder Rohr ange-    schlossen werden soll;     Fig.2    ein Längs  schnitt des an jenem Ende anzustecken be  stimmten elastischen Ringe.  



  Die vordere Stirnwand<I>a</I> des Gehäuses     g,     in dessen hinterem Teil ein Elektromotor mit  Ventilator eingebaut zu denken ist, weist  einen inwendig mit Isoliermaterial gefütterten       Anschlussstutzen   <I>b</I> auf, dessen Durchgang<I>d</I>  in der Weise konisch ist, dass die lichte  Weite am vordern Ende etwas grösser ist  als an der dem Gehäuseinnern zugekehrten  Seite. Auswendig ist der Stutzen b mit einer  Nut c hinter einem     Bundring    e versehen.

    Auf den     Anschlussstutzen    ist ein elastischer  Ring     ic,    am besten aus Gummi, gesteckt, der  einen nach innen ragenden, in die Nut     c     eingreifenden Stirnflansch s und eine auf den       Bundring    e passende Nut t besitzt. Das  Kopfende des Ringes     u    weist eine     Durch-          gangsöffnung    auf, deren lichte Weite minde  stens nicht grösser, sondern     vorteilhafterweise     etwas kleiner ist als diejenige des vordern  Endes des     Anschlussstutzens    b.  



  Nachdem das konische Kopfstück r eines  Schlauches oder Rohres in den entsprechend  konischen     Anschlussstutzen    b eingeschoben      ist, schmiegt sich das Kopfende des elasti  schen Ringes     u    eng an jenes Kopfstück an  und verhindert dessen Lostrennung vom An  schlussstutzen, lässt aber Drehungen und       Schwenkungen    des Schlauches oder Rohres  zu. Durch die erwähnte Ausführung des An  schlussstutzens b mit Isoliermaterial und den  Gummiring     u    ist die den Schlauch oder das  Rohr handhabende Person gegen allfällige  unliebsame Einwirkungen des Elektromotors  geschützt.



  Device for connecting hoses and pipes to hollow bodies. There are connections of hoses and pipes to hollow bodies, which are made without screwing or bayonet lock. The present invention relates to a device for such a connection, in which a hose provided with, for example, a conical head piece or a flexible or rigid pipe is to be connected to a hollow body.

   According to the invention, the hollow body has a connection piece to which an elastic ring is attached which, after the head piece of the hose or pipe has been introduced, clings to the surface of the head piece and is able to hold it by friction so that the head piece with the hose or pipe can be rotated without separating from the nozzle.



  The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention on a housing for receiving the dust and debris sucked in by an electric vacuum cleaner. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal section of a hollow body, at one end of which a hose or pipe is to be connected; 2 shows a longitudinal section of the elastic rings to be attached to that end.



  The front end wall <I> a </I> of the housing g, in the rear part of which an electric motor with a fan is to be imagined, has a connection piece <I> b </I> which is internally lined with insulating material and whose passage <I> d </I> is conical in such a way that the clear width at the front end is slightly larger than on the side facing the inside of the housing. On the outside, the connector b is provided with a groove c behind a collar e.

    An elastic ring ic, preferably made of rubber, is plugged onto the connecting piece and has an inwardly protruding end flange s that engages in the groove c and a groove t that fits onto the collar e. The head end of the ring u has a through opening, the clear width of which is at least not larger, but advantageously somewhat smaller than that of the front end of the connecting piece b.



  After the conical head piece r of a hose or pipe has been pushed into the corresponding conical connection piece b, the head end of the elastic ring u clings closely to that head piece and prevents it from being separated from the connection piece, but allows the hose or pipe to rotate and swivel . Due to the aforementioned execution of the connection piece b with insulating material and the rubber ring u, the person handling the hose or pipe is protected against any undesirable effects of the electric motor.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: Device for connecting hoses and pipes to hollow bodies, in particular to the housing of electric vacuum cleaners, in which the electric motor and fan are housed in this housing, characterized in that the hollow body to be provided with a hose or pipe has a connecting piece on which an elastic ring is placed, the passage of which is at least not larger than the one at the front end of the connecting piece, and which ring, after the head piece of the hose or pipe has been inserted into the connecting piece, clings to the surface of the head piece and able to hold it through friction,

that the head piece can be rotated in the nozzle without ever becoming detached from the nozzle. SUBClaims: 1. Device according to the patent claim, characterized in that the connecting piece of the hollow body is provided on the outside with a groove delimited by a collar, and that the elastic ring has an inwardly protruding flange which into that groove of the connecting piece engages and delimits a groove provided on the inner circumference of the ring into which the collar of the connecting piece engages. 2.

Device according to patent claim, characterized in that the connecting piece of the hollow body has a passage which narrows towards the inside. 3. A device according to the patent claim; characterized in that the passage of the connecting piece of the hollow body is lined with a sleeve made of electrical insulating material.
