Kreiselmaschine.
Arbeitsmittel be tätigt werden.
Gyroscope. The invention relates to a centrifugal machine, which can be designed, for example, as a fan, pump or turbine, and consists in that at least one means is provided which, by adjusting in the axial direction, effects a change in a throughflow cross section.
The change in the flow cross-section be effective means can be clamped on one side at a fixed clamping point and while maintaining a constant inlet cross-section with its free end can be movably arranged. This means is advantageously designed as a membrane, for example also as a hollow membrane. The diaphragm can be adjusted, for example, mechanically, pneumatically or hydraulically.
In this case, in the case of multi-stage gyroscopic machines, the device which acts to adjust the membrane can expediently be carried out by means of the conveying resp. Work equipment be operated.
Some embodiments of the subject invention are shown schematically in the drawing. Fig. 1 is a section through the impeller of a compressor built according to the invention, Fig. 2 is a section through the plane 1-I of Fig. 1; Fig. < B> 3, 4, 5 and 6 and 7 show variants of Fig. 1. </ B>
In the figures, 1 is the wave, 2 is the respectively. the impellers, 3 the housing. According to FIG. 1, a ring 4, which is provided with a membrane 5 , is fastened on both sides of the impeller 2 in the housing 3 , a second ring 6 is arranged at its outer end.
Under the influence of an adjustment device (adjusting screw) 7 that can be operated by hand, for example, the ring 6 can be pressed inwards, either on one side of the impeller alone or on both sides, so that the M-emblem 5 adjusts itself to the position shown in dashed lines. As a result, the flow cross-section is reduced in the axial direction with the formation of a gradual transition, the rings 4 taking on the role of fixed clamping points.
While in FIG. 1 the reduction of the flow cross-section takes place by axial displacement of the rings, FIG. 3 shows an embodiment in which Both the rings 4 and the outer end 21, which are axially fixed in a slot 29, which can be moved radially, are axially fixed.
The cross-section is narrowed by axially influencing the membrane, for example by applying pressure in the direction of the arrows 8 by means of the adjusting screws 7 . The change in the flow cross-section can, however, also take place by a pressure exerted on the end 21 of the membrane in the radial direction. This design not only achieves a steady transition from the impeller to the throttle point, but also from the throttle point to the DrueL side of the machine.
In Fig. 4, the membrane 5 is designed as a hollow body. The change in the flow cross section takes place in that a pressure medium is introduced into the cavity 1.0 of the membrane 5 through the line 9, whereby the Membrane takes on the dotted, thorus-shaped shape. A gas or a liquid, which can optionally be taken from a higher stage of the centrifugal machine, can be particularly suitable as a pressure medium.
In FIG. 5, a multistage ICompressor is shown in which the agent to be compressed is sucked on the suction side 11 and through the impellers 2 into the pressure port 12 is promoted. The regulating diaphragm 5 , designed as a circular ring, is actuated by pistons 13 which are exposed to the influence of a pressure medium supplied through line 20.
In the case of a compressor, it is advantageous to use part of the conveyed pressure medium, for example gas or air, in the case of a pump, a portion of the conveyed liquid, for example water. The pressing of the pressure medium can, however, also be generated by a device independent of the rotary machine instead of in a higher stage of the rotary machine.
FIGS. 6 and B show an embodiment according to which a lever 15 acts on a movable bolt 14 which supports the mybrus 5 > Adjusted in the axial direction. The membrane 5 is clamped on the ring 4, which acts as a fixed pivot point.
A special type of clamping of the membrane, which depending can be divided into segments according to the elastic material used and according to the design -the device causing its adjustment, is shown in FIG. 7. </ B>
The means changing the flow cross-section in the axial direction can be provided on all or only part of the circumference of the impellers. If this means is arranged over the entire circumference, it can at least be formed in such a way that a partial actuation is possible.
Centrifugal machines, such as blowers, pumps or turbines of the type described, have the advantage over machines of known design that organs such as guide blades, the adjustment of which requires the overcoming of large friction work, are avoided, and a constant transition in all phases for the flow the cross-section change is possible.
While the exit angles are changed when regulating by means of guide vanes, the machines described have the further advantage that the exit angles remain the same for all flow cross-sections and therefore the losses in this regard do not occur.
