Description
Tweezers, especially for grasping prepared asparagus. It is well known that when eating asparagus, hands are not used, for example forks and knives. As a result, the fingers are soiled and often have to be cleaned on the napkin while eating. The purpose of the present invention is to avoid the troublesome, unhygienic grasping of the asparagus with the hands.
The present subject matter of the invention is a pair of tweezers, especially for grasping prepared asparagus. This is shown on the enclosed gender drawing in an exemplary embodiment.
Fig. 1 shows a side view; Fig. 2 is a plan view; Fig. 3 illustrates the front forehead view.
The tweezers shown have two legs 1, 2, which are resiliently connected to one another via a curved back 3. . Curse the legs 1, 2 are curved in their cross-section, as can be seen from FIGS. Furthermore, the legs each have a widening 4 in their longitudinal center. These widened areas in turn have an inwardly directed depression 5.
The latter indentations enable the tweezers to be comfortably and securely grasped by the fingers, as shown in FIG. 1, as the thumb is accommodated in one indentation and the index finger in the other indentation. The free ends of the legs 1, 2 have rows of prongs 6 which are directed transversely to the longitudinal direction of the legs. As can be seen from Fig. 3, these rows of prongs 6 extend in an arc, since they are adapted to the round cross-sectional shape of the asparagus B. The outer prongs, that is to say lying on the longitudinal edges of the legs, are thus kept longer in relation to the inner prongs.
What is achieved thereby is that when grasping asparagus by means of the present subject matter of the invention, the rows of prongs 6 evenly attack the asparagus shaft 9 in such a way that the latter is not likely to break in two.
These described tweezers can be brought into the trade in a simple and also in a luxury version.
