Fig. 1 ist eine äussere Ansicht einer Aus führungsform des Staubsaugers; Fig. 2 ist ein Längsschnitt durch das Ge häuse des Staubsaugers und das Gehäuse des Elektromotors; Fig. 3 veranschaulicht die Lagerung des Motorgehäuses -im Staubsaugergehäuse, und zwar als Querschnitt nach der Linie 3-3 der Fig. 2; Fig. 4 zeigt im Schnitt den besonders er tveiterten, mit Führungsflächen versehenen Teil des Staubsaugergehäuses; Fig. 5 veranschaulicht die untere Hälfte eines geteilten Staubsaugergehäuses mit darin gelagertem Motorgehäuse;

Electric vacuum cleaner with dust bag. The invention relates to a. By means of an electric motor operated vacuum cleaner provided with a dust bag, which is characterized in that an expansion space is provided for the air conveyed by the impeller on the way to the dust bag in the vacuum cleaner housing, the transition of which is narrowed after the dust bag. This device has the consequence that the air conveyed by the vane wheel is initially expanded and then compressed when it passes into the dust bag. It has been shown that this dampens the noise of the vacuum cleaner to a high degree.
The accompanying drawings illustrate the new vacuum cleaner in meh eral embodiments.
Fig. 1 is an external view of an imple mentation of the vacuum cleaner; Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section through the Ge housing of the vacuum cleaner and the housing of the electric motor; FIG. 3 illustrates the mounting of the motor housing in the vacuum cleaner housing, specifically as a cross section along the line 3-3 of FIG. 2; Fig. 4 shows, in section, the particularly expanded part of the vacuum cleaner housing provided with guide surfaces; 5 illustrates the lower half of a split vacuum cleaner housing with the motor housing stored therein;
Fig. 6 is a vertical section through another variation of a vacuum cleaner made in accordance with the invention; 7 is a vertical longitudinal section through a longitudinally divided vacuum cleaner housing with a motor incorporated; Fig. 8 is a cross section through the vacuum cleaner housing according to 7- '7 of Fig. 7. In all Ausfüh approximately examples shown, the electric motor is mounted within the vacuum cleaner housing that the air flow can freely sweep around the motor housing around, the transition to the Anther, however, takes place through a single narrowed outlet.
In this way, the air experiences an expansion and then a collapse. drawing; this weakens the noise that would otherwise arise to a noticeable extent. The effect achieved by the expansion and the subsequent contraction can be increased by one or more extensions of the housing, which either, as shown in FIG. 2 ver demonstrates, compared to the impeller, or, as illustrated in FIG. 6, behind ter the impeller, or, as FIG. 8 shows, can be arranged to the side thereof.
The motor itself is expediently stored in the expanded housing by means of a flexible holder, in order to prevent direct transmission of the vibrations to the outer housing.
The vacuum cleaner illustrated by FIGS. 1 to 4 consists of a hollow, cast housing 1 of cylindrical shape, which merges at one end into a rounded part 2 which is provided with a circular axial outlet neck 4. At the opposite end of the Ge housing part 1 is open and see ver with approaches 5, by means of which it is attached to the wheel containing the vane and the mouthpiece form the housing part 6 (Fig. 1 and 2). This housing part 6 is widened in a bulbous manner at the end abutting the housing part 1.
The other end of this housing part 6 forms the suction mouthpiece 7, which opens into the space containing the impeller with an opening 8 narrowed to the diameter of the impeller, which is achieved by a constriction of the vacuum cleaner housing immediately in front of the impeller. The opening 8 is expediently axially to the impeller. The vacuum cleaner housing rests on wheels 9. When the housing 1 is in a horizontal position, the mouth 10 of the suction nozzle is also in a horizontal position.
On the housing 1, the bracket 11 (Fig. 1) is rotatably attached to which a handle 12 is attached, by means of which the vacuum cleaner over the floor or. the carpet to be cleaned can be driven and which at the same time serves to hang the upper end of the dust bag 13, which is provided at the lower end with a ring 14 to be clamped over the neck 41 of the housing 1.
The electric motor can have any construction, but one with fixed field magnets 16, a rotor 1.7 and a commutator 18 working with brushes is recommended, since this type is of the <B> '</B> type lotor can be kept smaller and cheaper than the induction type, and since the aforementioned motor can also be used for electrical current as well as direct current.
The motor shaft runs in balls like 20, which are arranged in bushes 21 and are pressed by a spring '- "2 against a ring 23 each, which seals against dust. The entire motor is enclosed in a housing 24, welehes is preferably designed cylindrically and kept sufficiently smaller than the outer vacuum cleaner housing, in order to obtain a rin'-shaped air passage 25 with a large open area around the latter.
The motor housing is equipped on the outside with several hollow pins 26 in which rubber rings 27 are seated, which grip with a flange over the outer edges of the hollow pins 26. On the housing 1, screw bolts 28 are fastened, which extend into the crucible rings to a suitable depth and, in an ornamental bond with the latter, cause the motor housing to be mounted elastically in the outer housing.
As illustrated in FIG. 3, it is advisable to resiliently mount the motor housing approximately by means of four such pins in the outer housing, and indeed these bearing pins of the motor housing are expediently arranged at a suitable distance from the impeller.
The rear end 30 of the motor housing is also rounded, while the front end extends into the space containing the impeller and is closed here by a bottom 31. The motor shaft is passed through the latter, on which outside the motor housing the
