Description

  

  Verfahren zur Erzeugung von     Zierstücken    mittelst natürlicher  Pflanzen     bezw.    Pflanzenteile.    Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf die Er  zeugung von Zierstücken mittelst natürlicher  Pflanzen beziehungsweise Pflanzenteile und  besteht im Wesentlichen darin, dass ein na  türliches Pflanzengebilde nach seiner Impräg  nierung mit     Stoffen,    die die Konservierung  und das     Geschmeidigbleiben    der Pflanzen ge  währleisten, zwischen zwei auf eine gewünschte  Grösse zugeschnittenen netz- oder     gazeartige          Gewebestücke    ausgebreitet und das Ganze so  dann dem     Pressedruck    erwärmter Metallplat  ten ausgesetzt wird,

   damit eine Vereinigung  der     übereinanderliegenden    Schichten stattfin  det. Man bedient sich dabei eines klebend  wirkenden     Imprägnierungsgemisches,    um den  gleichmässigen Zusammenhalt des Pflanzen  gebildes mit den das letztere umschliessenden  Gewebeflächen zusichern. Das     Imprägnierungs-          gemisch    enthält vorteilhaft als Konservierungs  mittel     Salizylsäure,    als Mittel für das     Ge-          schmeidigerhalten    Glyzerin und als     Klebstoff     Gelatine mit     Tragant.     



  Die Herstellung des Zierstückes erfolgt  zweckmässig wie folgt  Nach Imprägnierung des Pflanzengebildes  mit den eingangs erwähnten Stoffen, wird dieses    auf eine auf eine gewünschte Grösse und Form  zugeschnittene Unterlage aus feinem     gaze-    oder  netzartigem Stoffe ausgebreitet. Hierauf wird  eine entsprechende zweite     Gazeschicht    aufge  legt und das Ganze sodann zwischen     a    geeig  neten Hilfslagen aus     Press-    oder Löschpapier  dem     Pressedruck    erwärmter Metallplatten aus  gesetzt, wodurch die drei Lagen unter Trock  nen des Ganzen vereinigt werden.

   Es ent  steht ein allseitig schmiegsames, durchschei  nendes, im übrigen hinsichtlich seines Gefüges  ausreichend widerstandsfähiges Verzierungs  gebilde von Stickerei- oder malereiartigem  Aussehen, das für die verschiedensten Zwecke,  zum Beispiel zur Verzierung von Lampen  schirmen, Vorhängen, Tabletts, zu Einsätzen  von Damenkleidern, als Fensterbild, usw.  dienen kann.
