Description
Arbeitszylinder, insbesondere für doppeltwirkende Verbrennungskraftmasehinen. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Arbeitszylin der, insbesondere für doppeltwirkende Ver- brennungskraftmaschinen. Dieser besitzt ge mäss der Erfindung einen Einsatzzylinder, der nur soweit, als er von den Kolbenringen be strichen wird, aus Gusseisen hergestellt ist, während der übrige Teil aus einem schmied baren Eisen, zum Beispiel Schmiedeisen oder Stahl besteht.
Als Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs gegenstandes ist auf der Zeichnung der un tere Teil des Zylinders einer vertikalen dop pelwirkenden Verbrennungskraftmaschine zur Darstellung gebracht.

Dadurch wird unter Beibehal tung einer gusseisernen Lauffläche für den Kolben ermöglicht, erstens die Mündungen der in den Verbrennungsraum eingeführten Or gane, zum Beispiel der Steuerorgane, in zäheres Material als Grusseisen zu verlegen und zwei tens die Wandstärke in dem den Verbren nungsraum umgebenden Teil des Einsatz zylinders zu verkleinern, damit die Wärme spannungen weniger gefährlich werden.
