Buch. Bücher mit Multiplikations- und Divisions tabellen, aus denen die Resultate vieler Multi- plikations- und Divisionsrechnungen abgelesen werden können, sind bekannt.
Bekannt sind auch Rechenvorrichtungen mit Zahlenschiebern, mit denen Additions- oder Subtraktionsrechnungen, aber keine Mul tiplikationen undD'ivisionen ausgeführt werden können.
Die vorliegende Erfindung ist nun ein Buch mitMultiplikations-undDivisionstabellen in Verbindung mit einer Rechenvorrichtung für Addition und Subtraktion.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungs beispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes darge stellt.
1 ist der steife Deckel des Tabellenbuches. Der Deckel besitzt eine Vertiefung 2, deren Breite der Breite einer in diese Vertiefung hineinzulegenden Additions- und Subtrak tionsvorrichtung 3 entspricht. Die Tiefe der Vertiefung entspricht der Dicke der Rechen vorrichtung 3. Die Länge der Vertiefung dagegen ist etwas grösser gewählt als die Länge der Rechenvorrichtung 3. Oben und unten ragt die innere Schicht des Deckels 1 etwas über die Vertiefung hinaus, so dass also oben und unten durch die innere Schicht des Deckels 1 die Vertie fung überragende Ränder gebildet werden. In dem unterhalb des das untere Ende der Vertiefung überragenden Randes der innern Schicht des Deckels 1 gebildeten Hohlraume ist die Blattfeder 5 eingebracht.
Der die Vertiefung 2 oben teilweise überragende Rand ist rnit einem halbkreisförmigen Ausschnitt 4 versehen.
Das Einlegen der Rechenvorrichtung 3 in die Vertiefung 2 erfolgt nun in der Weise, dass die Rechenvorrichtung 3 zunächst mit ihrer Unterkante in die Vertiefung einge schoben wird. Sodann wird durch Druck auf ihre Oberkante der untere Rand der Rechenvorrichtung gegen die Feder 5 gepresst; dadurch wird die Feder 5 zusammengepresst, und zwar soweit, dass trotz des das obere Ende der Vertiefung überragenden Randes der innern Schicht des Deckels 1 die Rechen vorrichtung vollständig in die Vertiefung 2 eingelegt werden kann. Wird nunmehr die Rechenvorrichtung sich selbst 'überlassen, so drückt die Feder 5 sie nach oben, wobei die obere Kante der Rechenvorrichtung unter den das obere Ende der Vertiefung überragenden Rand der innern Schicht des Deckels 1 gelangt.
Soll die Rechenvorrichtung wieder heraus genommen werden, so wird ein Finger in den halbkreisförmigen Ausschnitt .1 eingeführt, durch Druck auf die obere Kante der Rechen vorrichtung 3 die Feder wieder zusammen gepresst, bis die Rechenvorrichtung von dem die Vertiefung oben übergreifenden Rand frei wird. Die Rechenvorrichtung kann nunmehr mit ihrer obern Kante voran hochgehoben und schräg nach aufwärts auch aus der am untern Ende der Vertiefung 2 gebildeten Tasche herausgenomnen werden.

1 is the rigid cover of the book of tables. The cover has a recess 2, the width of which corresponds to the width of an addition and subtraction device 3 to be placed in this recess. The depth of the recess corresponds to the thickness of the computation device 3. The length of the recess, however, is slightly larger than the length of the computation device 3. Above and below, the inner layer of the lid 1 protrudes slightly beyond the recess, so that above and below through the inner layer of the lid 1, the Vertie fung superior edges are formed. The leaf spring 5 is introduced into the cavity formed below the edge of the inner layer of the cover 1 protruding beyond the lower end of the depression.
The edge partially protruding above the recess 2 is provided with a semicircular cutout 4.
The insertion of the computing device 3 into the recess 2 now takes place in such a way that the computing device 3 is first pushed with its lower edge into the recess. Then the lower edge of the computing device is pressed against the spring 5 by pressure on its upper edge; as a result, the spring 5 is compressed to such an extent that, despite the edge of the inner layer of the cover 1 protruding beyond the upper end of the recess, the rake device can be completely inserted into the recess 2. If the computing device is now left to its own devices, the spring 5 pushes it upwards, the upper edge of the computing device passing under the edge of the inner layer of the cover 1 protruding beyond the upper end of the recess.
If the computing device is to be taken out again, a finger is inserted into the semicircular cutout .1, the spring is pressed together again by pressing the upper edge of the computing device 3 until the computing device is free from the edge that overlaps the recess above. The computing device can now be lifted up with its upper edge first and also be removed from the pocket formed at the lower end of the recess 2 at an incline upwards.
