Description

Bandage pneumatique pour véhicules. .

Pneumatic tire for vehicles. . The subject of the invention is a practically incre vable pneumatic tire for vehicles, characterized in that, between a rolling surface and an air chamber, is placed a foam rubber crown.

Foam rubber is now a well-known product in the industry and this product, to the exclusion of other more or less spongy rubbers, gives good results.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, embodiments of the bandage, fig. 1, 2 and 3 are sectional views of three bandages.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, between the air chamber 1 and the envelope 2, is placed a ring 3 of foam rubber, the cross section of which takes the shape of a crescent.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the crown 4 also has this shape, but only prevails in the part most exposed to perforations.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the crown 5 completely surrounds the inner tube. This crown 5 is split at 6 to allow the introduction of the air chamber.

The special porosity and construction of the foam rubber thus make it possible to obtain a pneumatic tire which, while being practically puncture-proof, has very nearly the same elasticity and the same qualities in general as the usual pneumatic tires.
